5. The colours used in the front of mean girls is pink,
this suggests that the film is girly and that the colour
links into the film. It also gives a suggestion that all
mean girls wear pink showing which people are the
main characters.
You can also see who the main characters are by
using them at the front of the cover it shows who the
means girls might be as there is a more than one of
them and they are all wearing a light pink to show
that they are a group whereas the girl at the front is
wearing a different shade of pink suggesting she isn’t
the same as them. We can tell the more important
character as she is stood in front of everyone else
who is involved in the cover showing the film mainly
involves her.
There is no props used in the cover of this film, the
cover is very simple and only includes the main
people involved in the film.
The location is part of a prop as it is filmed in a school
this makes the film more relatable for all ages

that it is a more girly film, the ‘WILD’ on the cover is
sparkly which also suggests that it is girly and the
main target audience is teenage girls. It also shows
stardom and some sort of fame.
The main character is stood at the front of the cover
suggesting that the film is focused on her, The outfit
matches the colours used making the cover all tie
into each other. The way she is stood with her hand
on her hip suggests that she has some attitude.
There is also a car key in her hand next to the title
“Wild Child” this gives a suggestion that there is a
sense of humour and a show of reckless behaviour
involved in the film.
The characters in the background are all in uniform
and look smart which shows that the film is based at
a school but the main character is not wearing a
uniform showing some rebellion in the film.

audiences as there is a character for

the main part of the story is and that there
is a problem that needs to be solved giving
the storyline some interest to keep people

scenes of a family working together, we know it is happy as it
shows all smiles throughout the trailer.

suggesting that the film is going to end with a happy ending.
• We can see its romantic as its about a family that goes
through a bad time but comes back as happy showing love to
each other.

tension of the film suggesting something bad is going to

18. Clip Analysis
• You are able to see who the bad character is by not being able to see there face
shows some secrecy of the character suggesting they are hiding something. The bad
guy is also wearing all black which gives a dark and scary showing instantly that he's
the bad guy. His lightsaber is a red, the colour red suggests danger making it easier
to spot the bad guy.
• There is a group of good people trying to defend each other and help stay out of
danger. This shows who has more power as there is a group of 4 against 1 person
which shows that the person on their own has more power over the group.
• The dialogue is very minimal which shows concertation from the characters and
wants them to see that they have power and confidence to beat the one after him.
• The other characters use blue lighsabers the colour blue suggests good and power,
the good characters use this colour to be shown as a good. You can see the other
characters faces which shows they don’t need to hide anything and want to be seen
in a better way to suggest to the audience that they are the good ones.
• The lighting is dark and dull when showing Darth Vader throughout the clip and has
fire around him showing he is evil and bad whereas the other characters shown in
the clip the background is brighter and you have more things to see showing the
audience the difference between the characters suggesting which is more powerful.
