5. The poster is mainly in black and white apart
from the title and the green smoke. I think
they chose the dark colors to represent how
dark the series plot is. The actor covers the
entire frame of the poster to show that he is
the main character of the show.-

6. The colors used in this poster are
quite bright which I think are used to
entice people into looking at the
poster. The poster shows the four
friends in the middle of the frame to
show their the main characters. The
background is a beach. There are
many props to show that they are
holiday.

7. This posters colors are mainly dark red
apart from the emanating blue in the
center of the poster these colors
connate the common light sabers in
the film are blue for good and red for
bad. There are 3 characters in the
poster to show the sides their on in
the film there is also a character in the
middle which could connate that this
character doesn't’ have a side.

feel to it. It makes you feel
like something hectic is
going to happen

– The second clip is quite
romantic. It suggests the
characters are falling in
love.

9. Shining
• In the trailer they used techniques to make
the horror film into a romantic comedy. They
put light upbeat music so their doesn't’t seem
like there is any tension. Also they put scenes
in of the family together having fun to portray
a positive attitude in the trailer.

10. Scary Mary
• Scary Mary uses eerie music to portray a
creepy atmosphere for the trailer. The trailer
uses title slides with quotes on like “the fog
rolls in” they do this to emphasise the creepy
atmosphere. As the music picks up it shows
some scary scenes to make sure people know
that it’s a horror.

18. Clip Analysis
• Darth Vader is wearing all black and has a red
lightsabre to show he is an evil character.
There was another character with a blue
lightsabre and bright coloured clothing to
show he is a good guy. The lighting was quite
dark to show that it was a scene of battle.
