My film idea is that there is two young girls who go on a trip together. However one of the girls
has a hearing impairment and when they decide to go to a different activity on the trip the girl
who is deaf strikes danger. She adventures off into the cave yet to see something that looks like a
ghost. However as her friend has went to another activity she is left by herself. She cannot hear
anything that is going on around her and it causes her to become very scared. She tries to find her
way out yet cannot. From her not being able to hear it causes her confusion to whether the
ghosts may be talking or saying things to her. The cave seems to be in complete darkness the only
sign of light is the figures appearing(ghosts) With her not being able to find her way out then
there’s no way out…
The genre of this film is a horror because the film contains scary scenes and ghosts are an issue in
this film. The genre of horror suits my film because the film contains ghosts and some scenes that
viewers may find scary.

acknowledge the sounds that the ghosts are
making when she is in the cave.
• Lucy- she is best friends with Elle however
when they decide to part and go and
adventure by themselves she cannot find Elle.

5. • My target audience is teenagers because they
are able to start trends and they gain the most
attention on social media. By this film being
targeted at teenagers it’ll allow the film to
become popular and more and more people
will start to watch it and this film will then be
very well known.

participate in such as walking in cave’s and

genre of horror. Many films with the genre of
horror are very popular and many people
enjoy watching horror movies that’s why I
decided to choose this genre.

8. • My budget is high because to be able to have
it at the location of a castle it will cost a lot of
money. Also the characters and outfits will
cost a lot to employ and buy. This will mean
that my budget will have to be quite high as
this will cost a lot to produce.
