3. • I first made my background for this level of the game which was farm I used the
paint bucket tool to fill in the background to make this process faster and used the
pencil tool to put the detail of the house and the fence.
• I then made the grid for my game I used the shape tools to make this as I wanted
them the be exact and perfect squares so that my game would run smoothly.
• With my game being farm themed I had to make the animals for the game so I
created them to fit in the squares. I had to do each animal on a separate layer so
that when the game was ready I could move each animal individually.
• A clock was made for the top left corner so you can see how much time you have
left of the level. I used the shape tool to create the circle of the clock and the
pencil tool to do the arms to make it look realistic.
• A Hint button was also made incase a hint is needed throughout the game, this
was made with the pencil tool as it was detailed and was no faster way to make.
5. • A new background was created on this day as we moved onto the next level, this
level is jungle themed. I used the bucket tool to fill in the main part of the
background and pencil tool to add the extra detail to show the audience what
theme this level is.
• With the grid made previously on a separate layer I was able to use this layer
throughout my game making it easier for me and help it look the same.
• I had to make new animal layers for this level, I used the pencil tool to make sure I
got detail in the animals to make it clear to the players what the animals were.
7. • This day was similar to the last one.
• This was a different level so a new background had to be made, this level was pets
so I made a living room background using the bucket tool to fit in the big parts of
the background as this makes it faster and using the pencil to add detail to make it
look more effective.
• I used the same grid for the start as it was on a different layer meaning I could
move it to wherever I needed it.
• New animals were made for this and used the pencil tool to make them to help
add detail.
8. Process
I then started to make my game, creating my timeline on PhotoShop
I was happy with how everything had turned out and decided that it was time to start
making.
This process I found easy to do however I think it takes a lot of time as I needed to
make sure that everything was perfect and moved smoothly.
9. Process
Next step was to find sound effects and music to put onto my game to make it more
exciting.
I used freesounds to find my sound effects as they provide a good amount and a range of
each sound.
I then put the game and the sound effects into premier pro and added them all together
so that it all fit together nicely and made my game look and sound more effective.
