2. Process
• I started off with my backgrounds.
• I tried to used a variety of colours to make it
more lively and bright as I think that it would
make the game more eye catching.
• I also used 2 backgrounds to keep my game
intertaining.
3. Process After my backgrounds I
created my character and all
the pixel obstacles I need
I decided to use this character because
it has a walking cycle and it was easier
to produce
For the obstacles I used different
characters from different games as I
thought that it would look good in my
game
For the coins I was planning on
using yellow cirlces but I thought
that it would
be a bit boring so I decided to add
some more detail
4. Process
After getting my characters ready I started the
frames and layers
I used 100 frames for both timelines to make the
game quite long
I also used 5 frames for my home page
Instead of a life bar I used
hearts
And I used a coin to count the
amount of coins I collected
5. Process
Finally, To create a videogame home page I made the
character run along the road and wrote down everything I
needed including
the name of the game, an instruction as to how to start
,settings and awards.
Afterwards I made the character run towards the next level
to close off my project.
6. Process
To create the sound for my project I used Beepbox.
Every time my character collects a coin a positive sound will be
heard. I did this to almost make the player feel happy with the fact
that they were able to collect some coins, like a reward.
However every time the character isn’t able to avoid an obstacle
You will be able to hear a negative sound, this time I added the
Sound to remind you that you may be losing a life for not
Avoiding the obstacle.
