2. Process
I started out by making a
simple animation of a ball
bouncing up and down.
To make it look more
realistic I used the
method of squish and
stretch to make the ball
look bouncy.
3. Process
Next I created a character using
simple shapes.
I had difficulty when trying to
animate the hand bouncing the ball,
at first I tried to use the same
shapes on each frame which did’t
work. Then I realized what I had
done incorrectly and made new
arms for each movement I needed.
I had also changed the color of the
ball on each frame.

To finish the animation off I
added in a sky background.

5. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• Tweening was useful, I think I will use this
technique in my final product.

• For this next experiment I wanted to
make a simple baking game for children.
7. Process
The game concept it simple. It starts off with the cake. So far I have
animated the cake coming in from the side, and a selection bar where
the player can select their item, the bar fades in which I think is a nice
detail. When the player selects/hovers over a item it goes red and when
they select it it flashes

I used two layers to
make the cake so hat
when the knife went
through to cut it it
would be easy to
make it look as if its
actually going
through

I have made the next
item(jar of jam) by using
simple shapes. i always
make the items appear in
the same place when the
player selects it. This
continuity make the
game look better. I also
make the items flash for
a couple of seconds
when the player picks in

To move the knife I
used tweening. I
them painted on the
jam. To make it look
semi realistic I made
the paint opacity low.
11. Process
I then moved the
menu back in
manually and edited
the menu so it
looked as if the
player selected the
pipe. I then followed
the same structure as
the other items.

• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• I liked including a options tab and having it
move in and out of the screen
• I liked the colour scheme
• I learned how to use tweening better.

I not too sure
what I'm trying to
go for, so I'm just
testing out sounds
and figuring out
how to use
beepbox

• I wanted to make
background music
for the baking
animation I made.
To match the
theme I wanted
the music to sound
happy and light

I realised you can
create different
patterns using this
section. I want to use
this so my
background music
doesn't’t sound too
repetitive

• I started to have a
go at the drums.
This gave the tune
some depth and
overall made it
sound better

• So im using an
extra tarck. In this
track I am going to
have the same
notes as the last
but instead of tem
all being separated
they will all be
linked together

Now I'm trying to create my menu
sounds for when the player clicks on the
items.
I have also made one for when the
player selects an item

• I put my animation
and background
music into premier.
• think the music and
animation work
pretty well together.
However the
selection sounds are
too similar to the
background music
making it not clear.

include in your final product?
• learning how to make videogame style sounds
in beepbox was really helpful. I'm going to
include this in my final project
