This document provides a summary of an evaluation of an FMP (presumably a game or other digital project) created by Imogen Minto. It discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the project's research, planning, time management, technical qualities, aesthetic qualities, and audience appeal. Feedback from peers suggested improving the project by making it longer and more challenging, as it was short and simple. The creator agrees the project should be longer and more challenging to be more interesting but disagrees that the color use made it less interesting.
3. Research
• Strengths:
– I found finding similar games to mine was fairly easy as most games
has some similarity in them all which made it easier for me to think of
something.
– I found the audience profile easy as you found the right audience that
fits my game and the gender.
• Weaknesses:
– Was hard to find different pictures as they’re very similar I wanted to
get different ones as it might get repetitive was also hard to think of
things to write about the similarities for my game and the already
released game.
4. Planning
• Strengths:
– With the strengths for planning it helps when you want to think of ideas and
expand on them ideas when you want to continue on that particular project. I
think that doing this with a mind map you can think of multiple ideas then
pick the best one or you can see yourself doing.
– Another strength is having pictures of either games or whatever your project
is about which helps to give you inspiration in your project.
• Weaknesses:
– It can take a long time to think of things which can slow you down and can
make you go slow in the other things you have to do in the project.
– Might not find the correct pictures to show other people what your game is
similar to.
5. Time Management
• I think I managed my time not that good as my game isn’t the best. The
only thing I would of done better is making the game longer so it looks
more interesting when watching it. Also I think that I could of made my
game a lot better as it’s very simple and looks a bit messy where I could of
made it more nice to look at along with being more difficult as it’s very
easy.
• if I had more time to or thought of a better game to do I think I would of
made it look and be a lot better then it is now.
6. Technical Qualities
With my game it’s similar by it having to go
through blocks that are smaller or it will
be game over if it went through a big one
as its bigger than the actual block.
With the other game its similar to mine as
you have to go through numbers that will
be easy to go through for example its
going through 16 because its still a smaller
number than going through 46 that will
take too long to get passed that the game
will be over.
7. Aesthetic Qualities
I personally think my game looks a bit simple
but messy as well as it looks like I just put
blocks all over the page. I also think that it
doesn’t look that creative as it’s very simple
which relates to what i said before.
I do like the colours I used as they’re bright
and colorful that makes them stand out.
I would improve my work by making it more
interesting to look at as it looks easy.
Strengths:
The use of colour I have chose to put in
the game.
Weaknesses:
The way it looks and how its really short
and not interesting.
8. Audience Appeal
I have appealed to my audience
by having a certain age range
that will want to see/play the
game.
I’ve also made it both genders so
anyone can play it so more
people can enjoy it and be
interested in it.
It’s also being any social
status so everyone should
enjoy what they want. So
they have a choice to play it.
10. Feedback 1

the product?
– Could make it longer as its quite short.
11. Feedback 2

– I like the idea you thought of with the blocks.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– Could make it more challenging as it looks quite
simple.
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the way its laid out with the different size
blocks you have chosen.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– Maybe make the background more brighter to
make it look more interesting.
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
– About it being short and how I could make it
longer to make it more fun or interesting.
– Also making it more challenging as its so simple
making it very short.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– The colour use I've chose make it look less
interesting.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
The changes I would make are;
- Make it longer as its short and not interesting.
- Make it more challenging which links to it being more interesting and longer.
I think all of these improvements as well as the people who gave me feedback.
By making it more challenging and longer might attract more people to play as
well.
