The document summarizes an evaluation of an interactive production project. It discusses the student's research on similar games, planning process, time management, technical and aesthetic qualities of the project, audience appeal, and feedback from peers. The student felt their research and planning were strengths but could have found a better representative concept. Peers felt the idea was good but execution and planning could be improved, and suggested adding sound, faster pace, and better graphics. The student agreed the concept was strong but pace did not need increasing, and would improve the background, add more players, and refine the start and end sequences.
3. Research
• Strengths
– I used some game techniques from snake that I researched and also from pixel gun 3d
– I feel something that helped my product would have been slither.io as
my product would have looked like that if I managed to get more
people on my map and also get more upgrades built in.
• Weaknesses
– I feel I could’ve probably found something that represents mine more.
– And that this would have affected my final product as I could’ve made it much more
different as there is a .io game like mine.
4. Planning
• Strengths:
– I feel the main strength of planning is that I can all my ideas straight
down onto powerpoint.
Weaknesses:
- I feel a weakness of planning is that if you decide to change
anything in the future that you haven’t put down on your planning.
5. Time Management
• I feel I managed my time very well with my interactive project. I feel if
anything I should have given myself more time to do my powerpoints.
• If I had more time to do my project I would probably have tried to make it
better by adding a better map.
7. Aesthetic Qualities
I feel I would improve the background and also try and get more people on the game
map.
If I spent more time on my game I feel I could’ve improved my background by adding
my own textures and colours into it and also I could’ve improved the amount of
people playing at once by getting different characters off of the internet.
I feel my game looks alright it could do with some better editing but all together it
has come across decent.
8. Audience Appeal
I feel I appealed to my target audience by giving them what they wanted but If I had more
time I feel I could’ve perfected my final product much better.
I feel like the main thing that would have appealed top them would have been the idea itself
as it was a really good idea to do what I was planning but I don’t think what I have at the
moment is the best.
10. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the concept and the idea and the designs.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
• I'd improve by adding in some music or
sound effects and make in it faster place
11. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– You could see the idea that he was going for and I
like that idea but I feel it could’ve been planned
out better.
What improvements could have been made to
the product? I feel like they could have given it
better planning and try and get it to show what you
were trying to get across
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I feel the graphics in the background were good
but they could’ve been better.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– I feel that it could’ve been better executed and
that the graphics could’ve been improved.
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
– I agree that the concept was a good idea
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– I disagree that it has to be faster as I believe it is a
good pace
14. Peer Feedback Summary
I would definitely change the background and give it some more brightness and
also some colour.
I would like to add more people into the game as well and not just show one
person.
I would like to change the start of the game and the end of the game due to it
being a last decision and it all came from google.
