Interactive Evaluation

Production Process Evaluation
Research
• Research was useful as it help create my product by finding similarities
and what works such as the clean bright art design and the blocks
movement and how the blocks disappear once there is a line of 4 or more.
I would of research into the audio of match games if I had more time. I
think audio would have improved my product massively.
Planning
• A strength of my planning is that I created a game that I had knowledge of
the type of game I would create.
• A weakness of my planning I didn’t write down how I would animate so I
had to improvise which could have poorly.
• Another strength was that I had a clear idea of what to create.
Time Management
• My time management has been sporadic with planning but good with
production.
Technical Qualities
One similarity is the bright
colours.
Another similarity is layout.
Aesthetic Qualities
It is detailed
I think the 8bit style looks
nice
Bright colours that contrast
A counter for
many blocks
removed
Audience Appeal
It is got vibrant colours.
There is no violent images.
It's simple to start playing.
Suitable for casual players.
There is score system.
There is no social media.
There is no microtransactions
currently.
Peer
Feedback
Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the colour shapes and the layout of your
game.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– What you could do next time is add sound effects
and music in the background of your game.
Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the colour scheme, and how it looks like a
real puzzle game, with how the blocks slide.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– One improvement I would say is you could try
make it a bit longer, since it is quite short.
Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– i think this is really creative, and its different for the
normal puzzle games like Tetris or candy crush so it
makes it a lot more unique.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product? One thing i would of added is
adding a score but other than that its really good.
Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback? I agree that the movement is
smooth. I also agree that the colour is pleasing
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback? One said there should be a score
but there was.
Peer Feedback Summary
I would make the animation longer and add sound effects to improve the
project.
