2. Initial Reaction
• I think the set brief gives me a lot of creative
freedom and I’m exited to express this in my
work. I want to design clothing and take
photos or film it in some way. I think I have a
good eye for fashion and think I could use
these skills to create a great FMP.
6. Mood Board Analysis
• I decided to do two different contrasting mood boards because I
want to keep my ideas open. I didn’t want to stick to one style as
know it will stunt my creative flow in production.
• On the left side, it is almost fully black and white. I really like the
look of contrasting shades and will incorporate that in my final
production. Despite this, I need to make sure my designs are still
interesting- it seems like it would be quite easy to have an
uninteresting design when using these colours so I will have to plan
my designs to avoid this.
• On the right side I focused on more colourful designs, a recurring
feature were flowers and I’d like to incorporate this into one of my
prints. I like the simplicity of some of the images and how they
contrast with the vibrant colours and I’d also like to incorporate this
into my designs too.
