2. I looked at this video overlay effect in my FMP research and decided that it was something I wanted to use in my project.
Therefor, this is the first technique I learned to utilize in my experiments. To do this, you just overlay to images (placing the
video/photo you want windowed on top). After this, you double click the image and it should become outlined in blue with
various dots spread around, you then simply click any of the circles in the corners and drag them in to adjust the size
accordingly.
3. These are very easy effects but I believe they will be the most important and very effective. In my research, I explored the idea
of using contrasting ideas in my work. Using the black and white effect compared the brightly lit shots will do that perfectly.
4. Another effect I could use is the color range tool. This tool works by selecting a certain area based on it’s color characteristics. For
example if I only wanted the red to show in an image I’d use the color range tool. As you can see here, if I select random color
areas and copy them onto a new layer, I can create a cool effect. I am planning on trying to underlay pictures behind these layer
copies to create a cool silhouette effect.
