Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images
styles/fonts/tone/mood
• There is a repeat of pastel colours such as baby blues and pinks and yellows because my
magazine will hopefully have a light and airy feel to it that will be amplified by these types of
colours.
• There are people posing with serious faces dressed in a modern-vintage chic kind of style. I
chose the because I thought the models were the personified version of what I wanted my
magazine to be.
• There is a lot of picture of short poetry with deep meanings to them. This is because my
second page spread will feature a lot of poetry and the images help me understand what kind
of theme I am going for with the poetry.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood board has images that represent the same kind of colours and styles that I am
going for in my magazine. The pastel colours will be featured through out this project and the
poetry I have selected to display will help me find similar ones (or to create poems) that I can
use in the magazine. Also the front cover layouts will help when it comes to trying to create
my own.
