I am currently managing and distributing Dalda Foods Ltd. Product range at Key Accounts in Lahore.
Earlier I had started a distribution setup in Lahore for Bisconni biscuit products which included all SKUs of
there product range and my prime responsibility was to execute the orders generated by the order
bookers on the previous day from a retail network of 3000 retail outlets . Then Shahi, Zain products and
GIGLY products were also added to our distribution setup and separate sales team for each product line
generated orders and products were delivered to the retail outlets the next day by our sales people on
delivery vans . Delivery terms include cash collection or cheque receivables for the orders delivered.
I have a career in Sales and Marketing and have worked in markets executing Field Sales throughout
Pakistan since 1995, these include Karachi , Lahore , Islamabad Multan Faisalabad Sialkot Peshawar
DG Khan Kot Addu Muzzaffargarh Bahawalpur Sahiwal.
In 2004 I became an Entrepreneur and have gained experience of setting up and running my own
businesses to date . I started my business of compressed natural gas vehicle refueling at Lahore after
obtaining a loan from the bank which I successfully paid off. Then in 2012 I started a FMCG Distribution
network in Lahore covering more than 3000 retail outlets, selling and distributing edible consumer products
to a network of retail outlets twice a week territory wise according to proposed journey plan .
In Shell I was responsible for direct sales to Key Account Industrial customers in the Multan and Karachi
respectively.
While at 3M I managed distributors in 3M for each line of Products example adhesive tapes , aero space
products etc. and also sold to institutional clients directly these included exporters of spices , garments,
courier and pharmaceutical companies
Whereas in Berger Paints as a Regional sales manager Decorative I was responsible for Retail sales
throughout North and Central Pakistan by catering to the market needs through Distributors and managing
and motivating their sales force to achieve the Targets and to enhance their performance . In addition to
that I managed Berger Paints permanent Sales force for order generation from the retail outlets and a
separate Projects team for generating bulk business from projects like new housing schemes and new
buildings .
Then I managed the Mega Projects sales team directly selling to institutions and Colour consultants and
Interior colour selection teams for providing solutions to customers for repainting their houses.
Finally in TOTAL I was responsible for starting up the operation in Northern Pakistan which includes
establishing an office and then establishing an industrial customer base in the Northern Pakistan region.
