Senior Buyer/Service Manager
Responsibilities:
Merchandized product line for all product categories; responsible for purchasing clothing, bicycles, parts
and accessories throughout the season. Projected quarterly/yearly goals, monitored department financials,
P&L’s, and labor rates within department to ensure profitability. Worked with vendor reps to implement
profitable dealer programs that supported our brand. Oversight of day-to-day operations of the department
and ten employees. Managed work order load, turn around deadlines, and priority service for VIP athletes.
Worked to grow our market share by providing excellent technical and customer service.
Major Accomplishments:
o Managed service department and purchasing decisions throughout a period of drastic business
growth from $900k to $1.6m in five years. Renovated service department, restructured department
processes and procedures, and specialized employee roles to streamline efficiency and productivity
resulting in 20% growth in three years.
o Planned product lines in all categories to streamline the ordering/merchandizing process.
Collaborated with vendor reps to implement advantageous dealer programs. Consolidated brand and
product offerings to minimize vendors and create a cohesive merchandising strategy that simplified

skills, created a service writer position to streamline the write up process, emphasized selling

demo fleet in Western New York. The financial success of the program was proven by over 17k in
