Managing and motivating a team of 15 members in a £3.5 million turnover and 15680 sq. ft. store. I coached and
developed the team to provide excellent customer service to achieve sales and profit targets, monitoring the day to
day operations and identifying areas of improvement, implementing actions where required.
● Recruitment and training of all new associates. Recognising and rewarding strong performance

store. I coached and developed the team to provide excellent customer service to achieve sales and profit targets,
liaising with senior management to ensure all stock, trends and local issues were understood and resolved enabling
sales to be maximised. I was the stores Learning Coordinator.
Key Achievements;
● Liaised with head office to drive and deliver correct stock levels and trends for the store
● participation in weekly conference calls with head office menswear team to discuss issues, product and
concepts to drive the business forward
● Delivered new till processes to regional team as champion of new till implementation
● Set up and implementation of a structured training programme for internal and external members of
management to deliver regional succession planning, part of the role of learning coordinator
● Development of the lead associates to support succession planning across the region.
● Through delivering a strong and professional training programme known as ‘proud to help’ the store was
awarded the runners up position in the Cardiff retail awards for customer services in October 2012.

● 9 CSE’s grades B/C including Maths and English
● N.V.Q =level 2 in retail and food hygiene certificate level 4
Personal Interests
My personal interest consists of keeping an active and balanced lifestyle that includes a mixture of keep fit activity
and running. I have completed a number of 10k and 5k runs for charity including NSPCC and Breast Cancer.
