Adele Rolf conducted experiments for a radio project by using various audio editing techniques. She used fade ins and outs to gradually increase and decrease the volume of music over time. Chorus and delay effects were added to snippets of audio to make the experiment more interesting. Background music and sound effects of dogs barking were included to add humor. For the final project, Adele plans to include fade effects, delays, and a full-length background song to keep listeners engaged.

2. Process
During the process of my experiments I used
fade ins and outs, this was so that the music
towards the end of my radio experiment could
gradually got louder and then quieter at the end
of the experiment. I also used chorus and delay
on little snips of the main audio file in order for
the experiment more interesting and
entertaining to the audience. I imported sound
from YouTube on order for the radio experiment
to be up beet. I had a backing track of Dean
Martin “how do you like your eggs in the
morning” through the duration of the
experiment because I thought that It would be
funny having the iconic song in the background
of my “morning routine” schedule. When talking
about waking up surrounded by Labradors I
added sound effects of dogs barking in order to
add humour to the radio experiment.

3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
I think that I will include the fade ins and outs because I think
that It made the experiment sound professional. I also I will use
delay because it made the radio experiment come to life and
entertain fellow class mates. I think that I will include a full
length song as I did in my experiments because feel like the back
ground music and sound effects really help keep the audience
engaged in the short audio recording.
