SEO is dead as we know it. The old math of increased backlinks and stuffing keywords is now a target for Google to identify your site and bury it in the search results. SEO is no longer a math problem, it's a human one. Social indicators are becoming key to ranking and link algorithms are being retired. It's time for you to see the truth about SEO... and adjust accordingly. This presentation was originally sponsored and shown through a webinar with Compendium.

  • douglaskarr Douglas Karr, CEO at DK New Media @usmanfarooqseo you can disagree, but the search engine results are proof that you're incorrect. I never said that 'putting a lot of content' would increase your rank. I said putting GREAT content would. There are tons of sites that rank #1 on highly competitive keywords with little or no optimization done on their pages. While I still optimize my clients sites, I have shifted our focus on ensuring they write great content FIRST, and optimizing that content next. 7 months ago

  • usmanfarooqseo Usman Farooq, Head of Digital Marketing at Avenue Social I don't agree with you.. Content is no doubt king but SEO is more about keywords and rankings wont pop on top if you just put in a lot of content. The whole process of optimization is on all Google search partners from pdf to videos and so on all are indexed so yes content might get you traffic from all its partners because of content getting indexed everywhere but your rankings would still be low. 7 months ago
