2. • Firstly I did some sketches with my ideas for the front cover.
I have a sketch of the head
shot for my student on the
front cover.
The school badge is
to represent the
school
Date and price for
additional information
Another picture to
go with the text
Big bold box to make
the text stand out.

3. Contents page sketch.
The title is as bold as the
one on the front page to
stand out.
The school badge is repeated again a bit below the
text however when I did it on the computer I made
it in the same place it was on the front page to show
consistency.
The actual menu is in an order down in a line
to be neat.
The Haydon values go with the school and
are nice colours in real life even though I
didn’t colour them in on the sketch

4. Some pictures I didn’t use.
I didn’t use this photo
because firstly it was taken
the other way up on the
camera and I preferred the
other photo I took of the
student.
I didn’t use this photo of
the bin because it didn’t
really fit in with what I had
on my magazine cover and
I had other photos I could
use.
I didn’t use this photo of
the directions found in
the main building
because I didn’t have
anywhere for it to go
and it wasn’t a great
quality photo.
I was going to use this
photo of the students
moving from class to
class. I didn’t because of
the back drop, the
magazine is meant to
sell the school not show
the construction going
on.
