3. Evaluation: the positives.
• I like the continuous artistic theme in the
background, font and the use of not only literal
art but dramatic art as well. I was happy with the
colour scheme being mostly blue, making the
page numbers stand out. As I’ve said in the cover
evaluation, blue connotes calm and
peacefulness, allowing the reader to pick this
magazine up at their leisure. I like that I’ve
changed the colour of text so that the reader can
understand what has been written.
I like that the title is bold and stand out and that
the pictures hint and what’s inside the magazine.
4. Evaluation: the negatives
• If there were a next time, I’d change the colour of the
text to make it stand out a bit more and also make it
slightly more understandable, even though that was
initial aim, I don’t that I’ve quite achieved that.
I would have also been more careful when editing the
pictures of the students and be sure to remove what
necessary. I would also either remove the girl from the
right top corner, or add more to make her stand out
and let the reader know why she is in the magazine.
I’d put the student in the left bottom corner in a
different place on the page.
