I have a few idea’s about the name of my magazine which I have listed
below however I think ‘Expl0sion which started with a flame’ sounds the
best to link with my Indie genre.

3. PRICE OF MAGAZINE AND HOW OFTEN
THE MAGAZINE WI L L BE OUT
The price of my magazine will be £3 and it will be released every two weeks so it is a
cheap price for an in depth magazine which contains lots of images and information.
I have chosen to price my magazine at £3 because I have gathered the feedback from
my interviews which was mostly £2+
It is abit dearer because it is released every two weeks and will have a glossy finish to
the magazine instead of being paper, therefore it will be a more classy magazine/up
market than the other magazines.
It will be every two weeks which allows enough time to interview celebrities and
gather enough information to make a good exclusive magazine for it’s featured content.
4. STYLE OF MAGAZINE
My style of magazine will be indie as I enjoy listening to indie music the
most and the feedback I received from my interviews was that most people
listen to indie style music.
I will represent the style of my magazine via the celebrities and colour
scheme, for example I will feature Arctic Monkeys, The Courteeners, and The
Killers. The colour scheme will be black, white, red and a hint of yellow
because these colours stand out and will make my magazine eye catching.
These colours also represent the Indie style because the clothing indie
people wear stand out.
5. REGULAR CONTENT
The regular content will be an interview, free giveaways, and gig guides.
It will feature fashion for people who want to represent their music
taste. For example people who like Arctic Monkeys will wear certain
clothing such as macks and doc martins which are similar to mods. Their
hair will be very big, particularly curly will side burns or a full beard.
Lots of images of celebrities and a page of my models dressed
depending of the theme of the week, for example Halloween, Bonfire
Night and Christmas.
6. FEATURED CONTENT
Within this particular magazine it will feature an interview with Ed
Sheeran or a leaked song.
Signature by Ed Sheeran.
Exclusive photoshoot with Arctic Monkey
Dates for the next tour of Arctic Monkeys which is being released
as an exclusive to my magazine.
7. LAYOUT
The layout will be simple with font which is easy to read in a mixture of bold, italic,
and underlined.
The image of a celebrity will be the main feature each week and the text will be
surrounding the image. It may overlap the masthead however it will still be able to be read
by the audience.
There will be borders to interest the public into buying the magazine such as
‘exclusives’ ‘interview with …’ ‘free giveaway’ etc.
It will be packed with text surrounding the image, the main image will be a well
known celebrity so the audience who likes the certain celebrity will pick it up immediately.
