Articles in the magazine will include several features of big artists
within the genre right now, album reviews, and even essays on the
genre itself. I want it to be as diverse as possible when it comes to
the types of content being featured in it in order to help keep readers
engaged and interested. For the feature articles, I plan on featuring
popular artists, but also some of my personal favorites as well, includ-
ing boygenius, Camp Cope, and Snail Mail. I want to include several
albums reviews of some of the biggest indie albums and EPs that have
come out in the past year or so. I would also like to showcase articles
that include essays about things going on within the genre and the
future of it as well.
This magazine would be in competition with various other indie
music publications, including DIY Magazine, Under the Radar, and The
Fader Magazine. Articles in the magazine will include several features
of big artists within the genre right now, album reviews, and even es-
says on the genre itself. - Hannah Charles

OR MY MAGAZINE PROJECT, I chose to create
a brand new one about female artists within the
indie and alternative rock music genres. I chose
this subject because I really respect the talent and hard
work of these women, and because a lot of my favorite
musicians are in fact women. Many music magazines
are full of mostly men, and I think it would be a
refreshing to see a magazine filled with female artists
and their own perspectives. This magazine is intended
for indie music fans and musicians who are inspired by
female artists and the talent they possess.
