這星期要討論的是關於「都市更新」的議題。我挑選了兩篇文章，一篇是討論都市更新過程中仕紳化與社會排除的問題，一篇是討論都更過程中公部門的角色。我們將會討論以下三個問題： 1. 都市更新的目的與社會效應為何？ 2. 在都更過程中，不同行動者的行動邏輯有何不同？彼此是否衝突？ 3. 有什麼方式可以解決都更破局的問題？ 因此，請各位在閱讀文本時順手作以下幾件事： 1.思考都市更新的目的是什麼？ 2.以老舊社區為對象的都市更新對於都市紋理、社區網絡、都市經驗造成什麼樣的影響？ 3.以文本為資料，整理市政府、建商、地主、利害關係人（承租戶、鄰居）對於都更的看法？ 最後，為了讓各位對「都市更新」更有感，所以我們也會在課堂上閱讀公聽會會議記錄與相關新聞資料，整理不同行動者之間的利害關係與衝突合作，並進行角色模擬。 我們將會以「萬華」作為角色模擬的情境場域。這一方面是因為北市府在萬華有都市再生與社會住宅的政策正在推動，區內也有不少都市更新案正在進行，我們可以從公聽會的會議記錄中整理出不同行動者的發言。另一方面，萬華也是我們接下來討論文資保存（剝皮寮）、夜市小吃（龍山寺＋華西街）的所在地。

22. The right to the city is far more than the individual liberty to access urban
resources: it is a right to change ourselves by changing the city. It is, moreover, a
common rather than an individual right since this transformation inevitably
depends upon the exercise of a collective power to reshape the processes of
