 to observe osmosis
in the egg
1) place the egg in
vinegar to remove
the shell
2) measure eggs
weight using a
balance
3) put one egg in
water

 4) The other
egg will go in
the corn
syrup
5) measure
the Weight
and the size

4. Hypothesis
 The water (Bob)
I thought the water
will go though and
the weight will
increase also will the
size.
 Corn syrup (Steve)
I thought the weight
will decrease and
the size will get
smaller.

5. Material
We used
 Water
 corn syrup
 string
 tape measure
 balance
 and 2 eggs

6. Observation
 From the
observation I
saw the weight
and the size
change in the
eggs both of the
eggs changed a
little.

7. Hypothesis #2
 Watching the
egg osmosis the
corn syrup egg
(Steve)
got bigger in
weight and size.
 Also the other
egg(Bob)
