This document describes an experiment to observe osmosis in eggs. It involves placing eggs in water and corn syrup and measuring any changes in weight and size. The hypothesis was that the egg in water would gain weight and increase in size due to gaining water, while the egg in corn syrup would lose weight and shrink due to losing water to the higher sugar concentration corn syrup. The results supported the hypothesis, with the water egg gaining weight and size and the corn syrup egg losing weight and appearing deflated.
