The student conducted an experiment to observe osmosis in eggs. Eggs were placed in vinegar, water, and corn syrup, and their weights and sizes were measured before and after. In water, the egg gained weight and increased in size, while in corn syrup, the egg lost weight and decreased in size, demonstrating that osmosis caused water to move into the egg in water and out of the egg in corn syrup. The hypotheses about the water egg were incorrect, but the hypotheses about the corn syrup egg being smaller and browner were correct.

 There’s bubble rising in the egg when it is placed on
the vinegar
 There is more bubble rising and the egg is floating

 After sitting on corn syrup for 1 day the egg looks
shrivelled up

doesn’t float
