This document describes an experiment to observe osmosis in eggs. Two eggs were placed in water and corn syrup after measuring their initial weight and size. It was hypothesized that the egg in water would gain weight and stay the same size, while the corn syrup egg may change color but gain weight and stay the same size. After observing the eggs, it was found that the water egg gained weight and size as water moved into it, while the corn syrup egg lost weight and size as water moved out of it due to differing concentrations. This demonstrated the principle of osmosis.
