2. What is zigbee ?
Zigbee is an IEEE 802.15.4-based specification for a suite of
high-level communication protocols used to create personal
area networks with small, low-power , Low cost wireless
connection made for Internet of Things and Machine to
Machine Network.
Created by the ZigBee Alliance .
Philips, Motorola, Intel, HP are all members of the alliance .

 No wireless network standard that meets the unique needs
of sensors and control devices.
 wireless systems don’t require high data rates but do require
low cost and very low current drain.
