or vendor selection decisions are complicated by the fact that various criteria must be considered in
decisions making process. The analysis of criteria for selection and measuring the performance of
suppliers has been the focus of many scientists and purchasing practitioners since 1960s. The majority
of research about supplier selection problem mentions Dickson s study [9]. It is based on a
questionnaire sent to 273 purchasing agents and managers selected from the membership list of the
National Association of Purchasing Managers, which include agents and managers from the United
States and Canada. Dickson s study describes the importance of 23 criteria for supplier selection
which are classified with respect to their importance observed in the beginning of the sixties. At that
time, the most significant criteria are quality of the product, the on time delivery, the performance

overwhelmed and being anxious. Throughout this period of added stress and building anxiety, I have
searched for ways to help manage those things. I wanted to be able to relax. I wanted to be able to
focus, remain calm, and remain happy. I needed to do all of these things in order to be productive. One

Bond (2011) states, Along with enhancing cognitive performance, meditation seems to have an effect
on emotional well being (p. 1). I want to see how meditation has helped others, and I want to see the
research that has already been conducted.
Another purpose I have in this study is to be able to use meditation to help me improve my

Significance
This study is significant because stress can be detrimental to one s physical, emotional, and mental
health. Schreiner Malcolm (2008) suggests that, mindfulness training is beneficial in reducing the
symptoms of subclinical depression and anxiety and can substantially reduce stress (p. 1). It is always
important to find ways to help manage and reduce daily stressors. I think that many people would care
about this study, because stress is something that everyone experiences throughout their life in one
way or another. Although stress is not always negative, most of the time, it is. Most people would

Shoppers from all these cities must use or bring a paper or different type of shopping bag. As a city

Type 1 or early onset diabetes is an auto immune disease in which the immune system attacks and
destroys the body s own beta cells.
In type 1 diabetes the immune system attacks and destroys the insulin producing beta cells in the islets
of Langerhans. The body is believed to do this because of some unfortunate genetic coding.
All people have particular HLA (human leukocyte antigen) complexes, but scientists have found that
diabetes is likely to develop in people who have a specific HLA complex. The purpose of this
complex is to trigger an immune response in the body. When the body gets an infection the immune
system produces antibodies to fight it. In charge of making these antibodies are T cells. If the infection
has similar antigens (something recognized by the immune system as a threat) as beta cells, the T cells
can turn against the beta cells and begin destroying them. This destruction happens over several years,
though disease symptoms appear quite quickly.
Without beta cells obviously the body cannot produce insulin in response to high blood glucose,
causing type 1 diabetics to have abnormally high blood sugar

After doing research on gender inequalities around the world, I realized how bad a lot of countries are
to women. Looking at the countries that have gender inequalities, I can see why they are not moving
towards sustainability. In this essay, I will be providing detailed examples of how different countries
treat their women and wives.
In some countries, women and wives don t have the right to travel without their husband or their
closest male relative s permission. In Egypt, Bahrain, and Syria, it is the husband s right to stop their
wives from traveling out of the country. All the husband needs to do is file a complaint at the airport to
prevent his wife from leaving the country. The husband doesn t even need to give the airport any
reason for why he doesn t want his wife traveling. In other countries like Iraq, Jordan, Morocco,
Oman, and Yemen, the husband needs to provide written permission for their wives to travel. Lastly in
