Civil War And The Era Of Slavery
Throughout the history of America, the civilization of slaves has been a complex issue that is often not
looked at nor discussed enough in society. In its general definition, most people would think
civilization is the process in which a person or animal is adapted to fit into a society. While this
definition is technically correct, this is a simple example of what the word truly means. In the context
of slavery, this term means the systematic dehumanization of people who were abused or imprisoned
as slaves. It is the utter torture and excruciating pain that these people, who were not even considered
humans, faced everyday until death. This was the justification that politicians and slave owners alike
used as justification for slavery; ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This could include the right to vote, freedom of speech, and freedom of the press. To this day what
seem to be reasonable protections are constantly challenged by people in government and power. But
an example from the past would be Martin Luther King Jr. and his fight for civil rights during the
1960 s. This man spent most of his life up until he was assassinated non violently protesting for the
equal rights for all Americans. In his Letter From Birmingham Jail , Dr. King explains how the lack of
economic and educational resources are killing his communities: One is a force of complacency, made
up in part of Negroes who, as a result of long years of oppression, are so drained of self respect and a
sense of somebodiness that they have adjusted to segregation; and in part of a few middle class
Negroes who, because of a degree of academic and economic security and because in some ways they
profit by segregation, have become insensitive to the problems of the masses (King Jr). Dr. King was
explaining that if basic legal rights such as voting, education, and economic security were not
safeguarded, the government was failing to do its job. He also mentioned that long years of oppression
, which includes slavery, has been a major blow to the humanity of African Americans. His words still
affect us today due to discrimination in the criminal justice system and well as economic inequality

The Use Of Literary Devices In The Chrysanthemums By John...
If you were to read a story, would you pay attention to the beginning or ending? Is there any relevance
or significance to the beginning and the ending of a story? Personally if a story is thrilling and
exciting, it makes me contemplate about the author s reason to begin and end the story. In the
Chrysanthemum s by John Steinbeck, the story s beginning and ending significantly impacts the story
s development through the use of literary devices.
The introduction composed by Steinbeck is significant. I believe this because Steinbeck expresses
many important literary device such as setting, mood and foreshadowing. When Steinbeck talks about
Salinas Valley The high gray flannel fog of winter closed off the Salinas Valley from the sky and from
all the rest of the world. On every side it sat like a lid on the mountains and made of the great valley a
closed pot (pg 756), he creates a depressing and negative mood. This foreshadows the story because it
describes the setting and hints the time period of where the story is told, where there was only a
limited opportunities for women. Some words that Steinbeck uses deliberately is when he says It was
a time of quiet and of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The story ends the way it does in order to show the dramatic irony of the story and to represent the
theme. In the ending Elisa feels depressed and starts to cry. This is one of the vivid examples of irony
found in the story, it is ironic because the tinker who uplifted Elisa ended up making her even sadder
than she was before. The tinker encouraged her so much, and boosted her confidence, without thought,
threw away her chrysanthemum seeds. This relates to the theme of gender inequality because Elisa is
seems to have many good traits such as being smart, energetic, attractive, and ambitious, but all these
good characteristic are ignored because she is a woman, which society believes has no place in the

Participant Observation In Australia
I INTRODUCTION
In May 2015, Australia has seen a number of rallies, a type of collective ritual event, to protest against
to proposal by the Federal Government to cut funding to remote indigenous communities in Western
Australia. The rallies, although frequented by thousands of people who wish to show their support for
the Aboriginal community, have been condemned by much of general society as an ineffective and
disruptive way of showing disagreement with choices made by the Abbott Government. This paper
will discuss the studied ritual and look at the major observations that were made, using a method of
participant observation. It will also examine the relevance of this particular kind of ritual and how it
connects to wider society. It will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are several features that distinguish a ritual. First, this type of ritual is clearly demarcated from
everyday social life; second, these events occur in a regularized manner; third, these events involve
stylized activities; and finally, these events involve multiple actors (Knottnerus, 2010, pg. 42). The
ritual that forms the basis for this paper was a rally that took place on Friday 1st May, organised in
response to the decision of the Abbot Government to begin the forced closure of remote indigenous
communities in Western Australia. The purpose of this specific ritual was to generate awareness
around the issue of the forced closures, and to demonstrate to the government that there is not
unanimous support from the public for the threatened withdrawal of funding from remote
communities. The rally started at City Square shortly after 4pm, with the group (numbering around
10,000) marching up Swanston Street and into Bourke Street before amassing at the intersection of
Flinders and Swanston Streets, which was blocked for about two hours by sitting protesters until the
area re opened to trams and cars around 7pm (Butt Hatch, 2015). The group was made up of a wide
variety of people that seemed to span a number of different socio economic indicators. For example,

Summary Of The Help By Kathryn Stockett
Differences do not divided people, it is the inability to accept these differences that divided people
which often leads to adversity and obstacles for minorities, In the book The Help by Kathryn Stockett,
African American maids face prejudice and hardships daily. This novel highlights the many conflicts
people face during the civil rights movement in Jackson, Mississippi 1962. There is a big divide
between the middle and lower class; most of the Black people live in poverty and work for white
families, Aibileen and Minny are maids that work for white families, Eugenia Phlean is a white
socialite who is pursuing a career as a writer. She returns from college to find that the maid that raised
her has inexplicably disappeared. Together Minny, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She is the only white person is Jackson who is trying to shed a light on the injustices these women
face, she eventually has to turn against her racist friends (Holly Holbrook and Miss Leefolt). Eugenia
was very close to her maid Constantine, she was closer to her then her own mother, but Eugenia
stopped hearing from her while she was at college. When she came home from school, Constantine
mysteriously disappeared and no one would tell her what happened to her. Later on, she finds out that
Constantine left Jackson to give up her child for adoption because Constantine s father was white and
her mother was black, so when she had a baby with a black man, her baby was white. if she kept her
baby, the community would not accept them because she was black and her baby was white. After
Constantine got in contact with her daughter and came back to Jackson, Skeeter s mom gave
Constantine a choice; either cut ties with her daughter or she was fired, she choice to quit and later
died, Eugenia had no knowledge about this because she was away in college, this motivated her to
write a book about the lives of black maids, She understands that nothing is progressing in Jackson for
civil rights, so she must do something, she states But then I realize, like a shell cracking open in my
head, there s no difference between those government laws and Hilly building Aibileen a bathroom in
the garage, except ten minutes worth of signatures in the state capitol (13.92). by this she means that
racism is becoming worse. Eugenia risked her reputation and her personal life to write the

The Mountain Air
Gently, I open my tired eyes to the bright morning lights shining through the cracks of my aging tent.
Stretching my horribly sore, cramping legs under my snowsuit, I take in a big breath of the mountain
air. Christopher, Michael are you ready to go yet? Get out of your tents! Rachel hollers from her tent.
Alright, Michael yells bitterly from behind me. Smiling, I carefully unzip my cramped tent and gaze in
awe at my utterly stunning snowy mountain view. Small, white flakes are falling from the light gray
sky, working together to make yet another layer of untouched snow. Down below are treacherous
slopes, steep cliffs, and slippery patches of ice that used to terrify me but don t anymore. Seeing that

One man had particularly interesting stories, as he was the group s guide and had trekked up and down
Mount Everest many times before. I have to warn you, he said in a serious tone. The weather is
warming up, and that means the glaciers are too. We saw a big avalanche happen right before our eyes
a few days ago. Be careful, stick together, and consider calling a guide to help you out. Wide eyed I
nod firmly, thank him for the useful advice, and hastily run up the path to catch up with Rachel and
Michael. I walk up the snowy trail, think about the man s wise words, and realize my feelings are
vacillated. We are so close to finishing, but I don t want to discontinue after all that we have
accomplished. Guys, did you hear what that guide said before? We should start to be more careful , I
expressed. Looking at each other, Michael and Rachel came to the same conclusion: I was crazy. We
have been doing this for almost two months, Christopher. We don t need a guide to boss us around,
Rachel snapped at me. Lagging hours of silence between the three of us become awkward,
uncomfortable, and frustrating. Suddenly I hear a thundering noise coming from behind me, and I
nervously turn my head to see what is going on. Gasping, I point to the avalanche that is coming down
right on the spot where we just walked past. That is exactly the kind of danger that we need to look

Beautiful and sad. A narrative from a father to a son. Initially I thought it was tragic and heartbreaking.
It is a true story and a real reflection on the default of being human. If for loss of compassion for this
side of humanity, I would say in an objective and extremely distant point of view that it is pathetic.
It is good that I am reading it in my 20s, being a daughter, single and childless.
I truly get the father s anguish and grief. The poems express oscillating feelings that explore the
dimensions of extent of strong human emotion. At the same time I understand the son s rebelliousness
to a parent who insists that he (the father) listens yet strongly occurs as imposing. Unfortunately, the
love desperately being communicated does not go across. The story revolved in the father s thoughts,
dreams and memories without an actual dialogue: an attempt to truly listen and get his son.
The father s hopes to someday laugh at these poems with his son is a very real illusion that humans
live in by default. Hopes and wishes become so real a reality in the fantasy world of our minds that
who we become and act according to what is taking place is regrettably misaligned to the future that
we say we want to

Allowing teens to purchase violent or mature rated video games will increase the sales of the game
purchased and violent video games are known as a stress reliever.
History
Violence in video games dates all the way back to 1976. In 1976, there was an arcade game called
Death Race, and it was about running over stickmen with a car. The game was eventually banned due
to the violence it displayed. (Homeslice, Death Race (Game) , 2014) Back in the late 70 s to the early
90 s, video games did not have a rating. There weren t a lot of violent video games for home consoles
at that time, and violent games that were released was usually unlicensed or unofficial. According to
Ryan Lamble, some of the earliest violent video games were Chiller, Splatterhouse, and Jack the
Ripper. (Lamble, The evolution of 80s videogame gore and mayhem , 2013)
In 1994, a video game rating system known as ESRB was established due to gory and violent games
such as Mortal Kombat and Night Trap. The ESRB decides what age or ages a video game should be
appropriate for. The ESRB rating categories ranged from kids to adults to mature. ESRB. SEARCH

and recently the ESRB expanded to mobile games and apps. The ESRB rating system for video games
will exist in the future and it will continue to expand.

Marine Corps Boot Camp
I thought completing Marine Corps boot camp was my most cherished accomplishment, completing
boot camp merely stood in the shadows of my last work up for my last deployment. I was holding the
Bravo Squad Leader position. At this point in my Marine Corps career I obtained three combat
oriented M.O.S. or jobs; however, there was little to no preparation for what I got myself into. There
are two culminating events at what we call Combined Arms Exercise or CAX, the first one is solely
for the Alpha squad leader in every platoon and the last is for the entire company of Marines which
consist of about 200. Again I was no stranger to leading people because I was also a Martial Arts
Instructor for the Marine Corps, but it was still not enough. Fox 10 Alpha is the range that honestly
and humbly tested my grit and my mental capacity. This range, designed to test 8 year experienced

Character Analysis Of Isabel In Ashes By Laurie Halse...
In the book Ashes, by Laurie Halse Anderson, there is an African American girl named Isabel. Isabel
is NOT the normal respectful young lady people would think she might be. Instead, I think of her as
being quite opposite of that. She is nice, but I like to think of her as a tomboy. Something to remember
though is they are in a war with the British. She doesn t know who she wants to fight for at first, but
then learns what either side has to offer to her. Isabel has many character traits, but to narrow it down,
I found three well traits that describe her. One trait would be that she is very stubborn. In the
beginning of the story, after Isabel and Curzon reunited with Ruth again, Isabel became overprotective
of Ruth. She was stubborn, and wouldn t let Ruth go anywhere without someone with her. Although
she is stubborn, there is a reason on why she is that way with Ruth. It is because she doesn t want to
lose her again. In the middle of the book when Isabel and Ruth went to the camp to help out, Isabel
showed a few ways she was stubborn. One example would be that she wouldn t let Curzon s friends
tag along with them to hear what they were discussing, and she was too stubborn to let Curzon kiss
her so that his friends would stop bugging him. In the end of the book, when Curzon came back
wounded from the victorious battle, Isabel showed her trait of stubborn again. She wouldn t let Curzon
get up and do things like his daily work because she made him rest and heal. This shows there are
many times in the book that shows her actions that prove her trait of being stubborn. Another trait I
think would describe Isabel would be unselfish. In the beginning of the book, to show an example of
being unselfish was when she and Curzon were on their way to find Ruth, they had to hide from being
seen by the British troops that were near by. While hiding, there was a very poisonous snake that crept
up behind Isabel. When she spotted it, it was too late to run away from it. Thankfully Curzon came
and killed it right before it was about to make its move on Isabel. She was so unselfish that she risked
her own life to find her sister. In the middle, Isabel also gave her food and time to Ruth when Ruth got
very sick. Ruth had

JTC 300 R27 eric.gauck@gmail.com Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine the initial preconceptions that engineering freshmen believe
when they first arrive at Colorado State University. Specifically, it will examine the dichotomies
between student perception and reality; hopefully revealing the perceptions and values which lead
students to leave or persevere in engineering. The focus of analysis on student motivation utilizes the
Expectancy Value Theory. Three aspects of the Expectancy Value Theory, expectation, utility, and
perseverance, are significant factors which contribute to the completion of challenges. These factors
are integrated into a questionnaire designed to evaluate the expectations of freshman engineering
students. The implementation of a numerically scaled questionnaire developed from components of
the Expectancy Value Theory allows the abstract concept of motivation to be quantified. The analysis
of 86 freshman engineering students found that students will need to develop a value in what they are
learning or a drive for future goals to persist in completing their declared degrees. Further data
collection is recommended to improve sample quality.

for freshman engineering students. The intent

Thy Sacrifice is Thy Salvation
Thy Sacrifice is Thy Salvation
Novels hold telling testaments within fraying pages, binding spines, breathless words, all to the sway
of theme and development. The complexity of a story can neither be salvaged nor understood but from
the barest elements that comprise its thematic importance. As this is but a proclaimed truth, it is given
that the themes of a narrative are the skeletal system as the parchment serves as its skin, the central

A Portrait Of The Artist As A Young Man Analysis
A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce draws on many details of Joyce s own actual
life, while also using fictional situations and events. Although the novel is more than just
autobiographical, its protagonist, Stephen Dedalus, is essentially Joyce s alter ego, a fictional double,
if you will. Both Stephen and Joyce share the same political and religious background and encounter
the same influences and pressures. They both were the son of a devoutly religious mother and a
financially clumsy father, resulting in their constant relocations. Like his protagonist, Joyce also
attended the same schools, where they both struggled with questions of faith and nationality.
Ultimately, both characters experience many circumstances obsession with language and strain
relations with religion, family, and culture which eventually lead to the betrayal of their country,
church, and family. Joyce makes Portrait a very intriguing novel by not only recounting elements of
his own childhood through his protagonist, but by additionally depicting what it means to be a young
man growing up in a confusing, modern world. A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man tells the story
of Stephen Dedalus, a young man who encounters many difficult situations, until he finally finds his

However, it does not contain a perfect copy of the Vulgate. There are many vari ants from the Vulgate
whereby Old Latin translations are used rather than Jerome s text. Though these deviations are shared
in all of the Insular Gospels, there does not seem to be a predictable pattern of disparity amongst the
different insular texts. It is believed that when the scribes were writing the text, they frequently

How Did Charles Perkins Influence Australian Society
Charles Perkins was an Aboriginal rights activist throughout the twentieth century, as well as being a
renowned soccer player, university graduate, and bureaucrat. Charles Perkins influenced Australia s
development in ways such as inciting the freedom ride, graduating from university and holding
government positions, and inspiring the Charlie Perkins Trust.
Charles Perkins was able to influence Australia by leading the freedom ride in 1965. While attending
the University of Sydney, Perkins created a group called the Student Action for Aborigines. This group
then travelled by bus around New South Wales, stopping in rural towns to protest, picket and raise the
issue of Indigenous rights. On the ride, the group faced violence, hate, discrimination. ... Show more

The Trust was set up in memory of Perkins and aimed to improve the health of Indigenous children,
educate and train Indigenous children, undertake research into improving status of Indigenous
children, address the welfare of Indigenous children, and make donation to Aboriginal interest groups .
In 2009, the Trust established a program that would allow two Indigenous Australians to undertake
study at the University of Oxford, and in 2011, the University of Cambridge was also made available .
This resonates strongly with Charles Perkins as he was the first Indigenous Australian to graduate
from a university. The Trust has published a guide, working jointly with the Aurora Project, which
provides Indigenous students information on scholarships and programs for over 120 courses. The
information has been added to the Indigenous Scholarships website and is widely printed . In 2012,
the Trust established a volunteer dental service that services remote areas with high Aboriginal
populations. The project is called Tooth Mob and aims to reduce the gap in health care for Aboriginal
populations. Tooth Mob is based in Wadeye, originally based in Katherine, but also travelling to
Broome and Derby. The program involves many partnerships including partnerships with the Remote

part of you that contains your beliefs, values, attitudes and interests; these aspects are seen as being
relatively constant or stable. Typical responses are the usual ways that you respond to the world

The Brothers Kamazov Analysis
(4) No Sighted Living Absent Today Gone Tomorrow The mystery of human existence lies not in just
staying alive, but in finding something to live for. The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
Before me sat a young couple. It was not our first meeting. They came often for counsel. We just are
struggling in life, they exclaimed at the beginning of an evening session. What are you struggling
with? I replied. As usual, a confused maze and daze of wandering contemplations ensued. Well, we
just don t know. We are just not happy. Oh, we love each other, and things are very good, but . . . well,
life just seems sort of empty and meaningless. Do you know what I mean? Here sitting before me was
a couple in their thirties. They enjoyed three beautiful daughters. They lived in a mortgage free home.
She was very attractive. He was a tall strong good looking man. Both possessed good jobs, drove nice
cars, enjoyed many friends, but . . . well, as she put it often, We are just not happy. After several visits,
I asked, What do you really want? They replied, Ah, well, guess we really don t know. What does we
don t know mean? So, some contemplative homework was in order. Their assignment was to begin
thoroughly assessing their lives through the lens of one question, For what do I live? Upon returning
the next week, the couple sat in front of me with blank wordless tablets. Did you do your homework?
Confusingly, she fumbled, We really tried. Really, we did. We

Coronary Collateral Circulation And Humans Are Often More...
Studies looking at coronary collateral circulation in humans are typically more controversial. Skeptics
have stated that collateral development is probably due to the progression of coronary artery disease
rather than an effect of exercise training. In addition, direct measurement of collateral growth,
typically through coronary angiographic techniques, is difficult and may have severe limitations due
to low levels of resolution of vessels (Heaps et al., 2011). Small vessels involved in the coronary
collateral system ( 100μm) are incredibly difficult to view angiographically, so the full magnitude of
collateralization may not be assessed or may be drastically underestimated (Heaps et al., 2011;
Belardinelli et al., 1998).
An additional approach that studies have used to measure collateral circulation development is to
measure the rate pressure product in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Increases in rate
pressure product at the beginning of myocardial ischemia have been found and is potentially related to
increased myocardial oxygen supply from collateral growth stimulation (Senti et al., 1998). After
exercise training, coronary patients have also seen a 29% increase in coronary flow reserve in
response to adenosine (Hambrecht et al., 1993). Patients with chronic CAD and impaired LV systolic
function who exercised at 60% of peak oxygen uptake 3 times a week for 8 weeks saw a significant
increase in mean collateral circulation score and improvements in wall

The Island Of Doctor Moreau
Benjamin Rush once stated that freedom can exist only in the society of knowledge. Without learning,
men are incapable of knowing their rights (Rush and Runes N.p). Throughout time, ethically
controversial sciences, from vivisection to stem cell research, have embodied a negative stereotype in
the eyes of western societies, and have consequently withdrew the freedom that allows scientists to
make innovative discoveries. In H.G. Wells novel The Island of Doctor Moreau, this perspective is
portrayed through Edward Prendick, an upper class English gentleman with a subtle passion for
science. After being stranded on a remote pacific island isolated from civilization, Prendick s
perspective on Dr. Moreau s unethical and controversial studies begins to transform over time. The
idea that isolation from civilization can result in the freedom to explore one s curiosities is portrayed
through Prendick s initial unacceptance of Moreau s vivisection, which, as time on the island elapses,
reshapes to one of interest. In The Island of Doctor Moreau, as Edward Prendick spends more time
away from civilized society, his perspective regarding Dr. Moreau s ethically controversial discipline,
vivisection, begins to shift from a sense of repugnance to one of enthusiasm. Through these
perspectives, H.G. Wells argues that Prendick s isolation from civilization is the principle force
allowing him to freely embrace the unethical studies on the island and explore his natural curiosity for
science,

My Writing Course Analysis
I grew up in a extremely small town outside of Birmingham, and the high school I went to is not
known for its academia. If I recall right, my high school english classes assigned only 1 2 papers a
year, so writing 4 5 in a semester was a completely new adventure for me. I learned many things in
this course that greatly helped me improve my writing. My writing overall improved in style, flow,
and basic fundamental writing thought processes, which is all the areas that are hard to learn. I started
to see my style and flow had grown bland and very fact based instead of grabbing the attention of the
readers. Now that I understand where my writing needs improvement, I can start focusing on those
areas and fixing my papers.
One of my weaknesses in my writing is that I tend to have a one track mind . Once I have an idea
about how to word something or organize an essay, I tend to only see it from that perspective, even if
it s not the most optimal way to convey my arguments. This class helped me think outside of the box
and learn to organize things like I would not normally do, this included how I would analyze texts or
synthesize ideas. The in class activities helped me learn to be creative, the class readings gave me
examples on how to organize that creativity and the instructor conferences helped me further organize

easier for me to write about since I was generally curious about the topic. Writing an argumentative

to perform research. One of my weaknesses with my argument proposal was relying too much on
evidence and synthesizing ideas instead of generating my own or making a definite stance, instead of

Fluorid Water Pros And Cons
In 2014, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported that Americans using community
water systems had a 74% chance of receiving fluoridated water. However, many Americans do not
know that there is fluoride in their water, what the fluoride is meant to do, or how fluoridating water
has become a common practice. The lack of common knowledge on this subject helps to explain why
there is also little attention paid to the possible risks of using this process. To better understand why
the US fluoridates their water, it is important to learn the history of the subject. Near the beginning of
the 20th century, a man named Federick McKay began researching a mysterious illness in Colorado
Springs known as the Colorado Brown Stain. After studying the natives teeth, McKay found that along

Some of the arguments have proven to hold more weight than others. One reasonable point that is
traditionally argued is determining how individuals receive the optimal dosage of fluoride. Noting less
affluent communities tend to use tap water for often it would seem reasonable that they would receive
an increased body burden. Not only is the amount of public drinking water ingested in each person
uncontrollable, the number of fluoridated products a person uses is completely variable. Individuals
not only receive fluoride from water, but also toothpastes, mouthwash, certain foods, and beverages,
and so is it possible to control the fluoride level for each individual? In a review of water fluoridation,
the EU (European Union) Scientific Committee on Health and Environmental Risks highlight that
young children are likely to exceed the upper tolerable limits for fluoride consumption in areas with
water fluoridation greater than 0.8 ppm and using fluoride toothpaste (Peckham and Awofeso). The

Bob Dylan is an American singer/songwriter best known for his rock and roll music starting from the

awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. Bob Dylan will now go down in history with other literary
laureates including, but not limited to, T.S. Elliot, Toni Morrison, Samuel Beckett, etc. Due to the

First, let s see how Bob Dylan impact our culture. A main reason Dylan s music was so influential was
because of the time that had his big break. The things that he was singing about in his lyrics were
extremely relevant to the major events happening not only in America, but around the world at that
time, and people were able to relate to his lyrics. Jim Crowe laws were being abolished during the
civil rights movement, communism was coming to end in eastern Europe, and so many other things
were happening around the world. But the thing that made Bob Dylan so influential on our culture was
the fact that he was involved in these events, not only as a person through protests, but as a musician
through his lyrics. He galvanized powerful movements for social justice and peace though the power
of his music and fame. As Dylan s career continued he expanded his music and made major
contributions to the world of music. Many of his songs are folk songs, or renditions of folksy songs, in
a bluesy tone with a raspy voice. He was unforgettable because of his new innovative sound, but he
took it a step further than that when he performed on an electric guitar for the first time at a concert in
1965. People booed him off the stage during that concert, but the very next album that he released
featured songs with his raspy voice mixed with the electric sound. He introduced a sound that was
foreign to rock and roll music and continued to reinvent himself, and music, from that point

The Problem Of An Internal Malfunction Within A Computer
Abstract
Overheating is a symptom of an internal malfunction within a computer. Although, computer
manufacturer s created the computer as new working condition, they still fall short. God also created
mankind in a good order, however, they too fell short. Computer overheating symptoms may include
the actual power supply, computer overloading, fan failure, inadequate ventilation outside or around
the computer system, inadequate ventilation inside the computer system, and even dirt and dust. By
diagnosing the cause of overheating you can correct the problem and get your computer back up to a
normal operational use. In the same way, sin comes in many forms and the correct solution to the
problem of mankind is the Gospel of Christ.

Why Are Visual Aids Important In A Presentation
I. Theory 1. Why are visual aids crucial in a presentation? Visual aids are crucial in a presentation
because visual aids often generate a clearer impression and more memorable rather than just words

Studies in Harvard and Columbia said that doing a presentation with visual aids can increase 14%

Similarities Between Gilgamesh And Genesis
There is a lot of evidence to prove and explain how the Israelite people might have known or heard
some Babylonian myths. This evidence is shown through similarities in the Genesis creation myths
and many Babylonian myths. As an example, there are many similarities shown throughout the
Gilgamesh story that relates to the Noah story in Genesis. Some similarities include the heroes
character, the order to build a boat, the number of animals, the means of the flood, and the action of
sacrificing after the flood. These are only a few of the many similarities interpreted in these stories.
The first similarity is that the character of the heroes in both the Gilgamesh story as well as the
Genesis/Noah story. In both stories, the heroes character is righteous. For example, in Noah s Arc, it
states that a righteous man (Genesis 6:9) was directed to build an ark to save a limited and select
group of people and all species of animals. Noah received these orders directly from God. On the
other hand, Utnapishtim received his order from a dream. The next similarity is the order to build a
boat. In the Gilgamesh, Utnapishtim is clearly instructed to build a boat and leave all wealth behind. O
man of Shuruppak, son of Ubartutu: Tear down the house and build a boat! Abandon wealth and seek
living beings! (Gilgamesh 23 25). In comparison at the beginning of the Noah flood story, Noah is
also instructed to build a boat or an arc for the flood. So make yourself an ark of cypress

Cahill makes ancient scenes come alive and generate a feeling of presence to his readers. For example,
the scene Cahill makes of the events near the Rhine River on December 31, 406. He paints the picture
of the barbarians and Romans on either side of the river. As the Romans and barbarians make contact,
Cahill makes the scene come alive. The Romans and barbarians make contact, but physical barriers
are also broken and removed. Cahill also does a great job of thoroughly explaining the events that
occurred at the time of Ireland s heroic role in western civilization. Although Cahill does do a great
job in explaining the events of Ireland and its role in the transformation of the western civilization, he
could have done it in a more exciting way. Yes, the way he did it got his point across nicely. But, he
could have done it differently, whether it have been portrayed through a personal account of someone
who lived in that time period or something that would catch the eye of more people. This book is of
much value to students of history, students who enjoy and study the events of history. For one thing, it

example of how to continue forward, even when so much is going wrong. Through reading this book,

Relationship Between Equity And The Common Law
Equity has been described as a mysterious creature that lies distinctly alongside the common law. In
considering the statement, there is an almost linear reversal in which the remedies in equity procure a
type of right not necessarily available in the common law. This peculiar jurisdiction has created
consistent controversy especially in regards to the fusion of the common law and equity. To
understand further, this essay will consider the relationship between equity and the common law. The
development of equity alongside the common law through its history and intention, and application in
case law will be imperative in the discussion of the statement. In conjunction with an analysis of
fusion, it will become apparent that equitable damages were enlivened, separate to, in unfair
circumstances where no rights/damages existed within the common law. In trying to tread the murky
waters of the distinction yet the procedural fusion of equity and common law, the contention of this
essay becomes apparent. Effectively, this essay aims to highlight that the history, intention, application
and fusion fallacies regarding equity, all which point to an assertion that rights in equity are indeed the
product of its remedies. Whether they are merely two streams of jurisdiction, though they run in the
same channel, run side by side and do not mingle their waters , is yet to be seen.

collateral ligament (MCL) and a tibial bone bruise (Amick). Durant s injury happened during a
rebound when one of his own teammates got pushed back into him and made his knee hyperextend.
This type of injury would be classified as acute. I say this is an acute injury because Durant did not get
this injury from continued use or overuse of his knee. It was a fluke incident that made his knee
hyperextend. This type of injury could happen to almost anyone when placed into certain situations.
Initial treatment would be to ice often, especially in the first 48 72 hours after the injury occurred.
Crutches and a knee brace may also be beneficial if the knee shows weakness. There should be some

The International Accounting Standards Board
Introduction
Over the past few decades there has been a significant transformation in the global financial structure.
These remarkable changes are a result of increasing global competition, changes in business and
political climate, increasing technological advancements etc. Globalization in particular has given the
corporations and individual borrowers to look beyond the borders for finance and investment
opportunities. In order to protect these investors and to maintain the market integrity a financial
reporting framework was developed. This framework ensures high quality of financial reporting and
true and fair representation of general information for the users of financial statements (SEC, 2000).
The framework serves as a guide for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
At the moment nearly more than 100 countries comply with the IASB standards. Moreover the board
is also responsible for the International Financial Reporting standards (Ready ratios, 2010). The
process for setting these standards comprises of certain stages such as: setting the agenda, planning,
developing the discussion paper and exposure draft and finally setting the standard. After issuing the
standards the board members hold meetings to discuss and review whether there are any issues
regarding its implementation (Foley,2004).
IASB was founded in April 2001, as a replacement for the IASC. It consists of 15 board members
from different countries, with a diverse financial reporting background appointed by a board of
Trustees (Members of the IASB, 2007). It is the main standard setter for the countries that use IASs
for their financial reporting. USA on the other hand has its own set of standards (GAAP) issued by the
Financial Accounting Standards Board. But IASB and FASB since 2002 have been working together
focusing on making a converged set of high quality global standards. This will have a huge impact on
a number of elements, such as investors, stock markets, accountants,

acute stress responses and acute stress disorders. Based on the references found and I examine the
different treatment strategies and examine responses and further delve into how it can a person s life
with short term and long term effects.
Acute Stress Response
Definition
Acute stress response is a response or a collection of responses that occurs when an individual
develops symptoms due to a very stressful situation or event. Stress responses occur every day, but
acute stress responses are due to symptoms that develop quickly and sometimes unexpectedly. In
situations where acute stress is a factor the incidents that occur are normally harsh and seemingly
happen unexpectedly.
Symptoms of Acute Stress Reactions
The symptoms of acute stress reactions include psychological symptoms which can include
depression, anxiety, trouble sleeping, lack of concentration, feeling anxious, and feeling as if they just
want to be away from others; alone. Other common symptoms include bad dreams or flashbacks of the

(McCall) It is important to be aware of chemical reactions such as this one so a proper workout
schedule can be created to allow appropriate proportions of rest and high intensity exercise. Another
chemical that is often misunderstood is testosterone. Testosterone is responsible for muscle protein
resynthesis and the repair of muscle proteins damaged by exercise, and plays a significant role in
helping grow skeletal muscle . (McCall) For this reason, increased amounts of testosterone in the body
can lead to faster recovery times and larger muscles. Many competitive weightlifting communities
have taken advantage of this chemical release. For example, the Soviet weightlifting team was given
testosterone as part of their training . ( Weightlifting ) Another beneficial chemical effect of exercise is
the release of serotonin in the body. Some researchers suspect exercise alleviates chronic depression
by increasing serotonin (the neurotransmitter targeted by antidepressants) or brain derived
neurotrophic factor
(which supports the growth of neurons) . (Weir) It is important to become an educated member of the
active exercise community in every way focusing on the psychical aspect and on the chemical aspect,
both equally important.
Taking into account the physical and chemical affects of exercise, it is natural to look at the
psychological effects also. Exercise has been proven to have positive effects on mood. For example,
running can have an antidepressant

Factors Influencing Dynamic Control Of The Helicopter Pilots
The helicopter pilots, in general, are required to be skillful in operations on both improved and
unimproved surfaces. During normal or slope takeoffs and landings with some degree of bank angle or
side drift with one skid or wheel on the ground causes the helicopter to roll. When the rollover
happens, the lateral cyclic control response becomes more sluggish and less effective than for a
hovering helicopter. Consequently, if a roll rate is permitted to develop, a critical bank angle may be
reached where roll cannot be corrected, even with full lateral cyclic, and the helicopter will roll over
onto its side. As the roll rate increases, the angle at which recovery is still possible is significantly
reduced. The critical rollover angle is also reduced. So, the goal of this essay is to cover the factors
influencing dynamic control such as solo flight, cross wind, tail rotor thrust etc. and understand the
recognition of dynamic rollover, how to avoid it and steps required for recovery. In addition, the
effects of critical rollover angle on dynamic rollover and factors influencing dynamic rollover are also
discussed.
Introduction:
An increasing percentage of helicopter accidents are attributed to dynamic rollover, results in
destruction of helicopter and some serious injuries to the helicopter pilots and crew. The dynamic
rollover is a condition of power flight, where helicopter tends to roll laterally. When a helicopter is
lifting off the ground or it is hovering with one

Pear Shape Diamond Engagement Ring Pros And Cons
The pear shape diamond cut is known as a modified brilliant cut diamond, which is a combination of
two different cuts. Those cuts are the marquise cut and the round brilliant. It combines the best of both
cuts into an interesting diamond shape.
Pear shape diamonds have to be evenly cut since the parts of the curve should match on the shoulders.
The typical length of the pear cut ranges from 1.40 to 1.70, and the choice of ratio is often a personal
preference. Some women like long diamonds while others want wider diamonds.
Pros of a Pear Shape Diamond Engagement Ring
Unconventional Shape

unconventional cut. This leads to a shape and a ring that isn t the ... Show more content on

A 1 carat brilliant round might cost thousands while a 1 carat pear shape will be a fraction of the cost.
That cost depends on the diamonds and metal that accompanies the pear shape diamond, too.
Cons of the Pear Shaped Diamond Engagement Ring
Bow Tie Effect
With some diamonds, you ll get a bow tie effect that will mar the interior of the diamond. It s a light to
dark shadow that looks like a bow tie inside the diamond. While some people think the bow tie gives
the diamond character, others don t appreciate anything blocking the light of the diamond. The pear
shape cut will always have a bow tie effect, but in some diamonds it s more pronounced.
Symmetry
As mentioned previously, the shoulders or upper curves of the pear cut should be symmetrical. In
some bad cuts, you ll see two shoulders that don t match. While this isn t common, it can happen with
some bad cutters. It s vital to be aware of this problem.
Pointed Tip
The pointed tip of the diamond is prone to breakage. It s also the spot where there can be inclusions or
flaws because it s the spot that was closest to the edge of the raw diamond before it was cut. You can
minimize damage by having an extra prong to protect the fragile point of the

The American Public Education System Essay
Think Outside The Box Tired of the same old routine? Too much pressure is being put on high school
students; some students do not even know how to cope with it. The way that the American public
education system has planned to make these individuals succeed is really not how it should be.
Students are being taught information that will not be as useful once they become adults. Students
should be able to receive the knowledge they need in order to succeed in life. Students need an
opportunity to be open minded. There are many different goals that can be achieved to prepare these
students for the real world. In order to be successful in life students should be taught in high school
topics concerning health care, personal finance, learning from failure, credit cards, relationships,
finding a job, self defense, and many more, but these should be some of the top ones. Students should
at least have an idea of how to do each and one of these topics. Some students don t have that family
support to teach them how to do any of these things, when other students may have all the support.
During this time students should be motivated to move on and prepare for adult hood, instead they are
brought down with information that will not be useful. For instance, history, yes its nice to know about
American history, but when are we really going to put it to use? One reason would be if we were
planning on having a career in history. School should be fun and interesting, where students can learn

  • 2. Civil War And The Era Of Slavery Throughout the history of America, the civilization of slaves has been a complex issue that is often not looked at nor discussed enough in society. In its general definition, most people would think civilization is the process in which a person or animal is adapted to fit into a society. While this definition is technically correct, this is a simple example of what the word truly means. In the context of slavery, this term means the systematic dehumanization of people who were abused or imprisoned as slaves. It is the utter torture and excruciating pain that these people, who were not even considered humans, faced everyday until death. This was the justification that politicians and slave owners alike used as justification for slavery; ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This could include the right to vote, freedom of speech, and freedom of the press. To this day what seem to be reasonable protections are constantly challenged by people in government and power. But an example from the past would be Martin Luther King Jr. and his fight for civil rights during the 1960 s. This man spent most of his life up until he was assassinated non violently protesting for the equal rights for all Americans. In his Letter From Birmingham Jail , Dr. King explains how the lack of economic and educational resources are killing his communities: One is a force of complacency, made up in part of Negroes who, as a result of long years of oppression, are so drained of self respect and a sense of somebodiness that they have adjusted to segregation; and in part of a few middle class Negroes who, because of a degree of academic and economic security and because in some ways they profit by segregation, have become insensitive to the problems of the masses (King Jr). Dr. King was explaining that if basic legal rights such as voting, education, and economic security were not safeguarded, the government was failing to do its job. He also mentioned that long years of oppression , which includes slavery, has been a major blow to the humanity of African Americans. His words still affect us today due to discrimination in the criminal justice system and well as economic inequality ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Use Of Literary Devices In The Chrysanthemums By John... If you were to read a story, would you pay attention to the beginning or ending? Is there any relevance or significance to the beginning and the ending of a story? Personally if a story is thrilling and exciting, it makes me contemplate about the author s reason to begin and end the story. In the Chrysanthemum s by John Steinbeck, the story s beginning and ending significantly impacts the story s development through the use of literary devices. The introduction composed by Steinbeck is significant. I believe this because Steinbeck expresses many important literary device such as setting, mood and foreshadowing. When Steinbeck talks about Salinas Valley The high gray flannel fog of winter closed off the Salinas Valley from the sky and from all the rest of the world. On every side it sat like a lid on the mountains and made of the great valley a closed pot (pg 756), he creates a depressing and negative mood. This foreshadows the story because it describes the setting and hints the time period of where the story is told, where there was only a limited opportunities for women. Some words that Steinbeck uses deliberately is when he says It was a time of quiet and of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The tinker encouraged her so much, and boosted her confidence, without thought, threw away her chrysanthemum seeds. • 4. Participant Observation In Australia I INTRODUCTION In May 2015, Australia has seen a number of rallies, a type of collective ritual event, to protest against to proposal by the Federal Government to cut funding to remote indigenous communities in Western Australia. The rallies, although frequented by thousands of people who wish to show their support for the Aboriginal community, have been condemned by much of general society as an ineffective and disruptive way of showing disagreement with choices made by the Abbott Government. This paper will discuss the studied ritual and look at the major observations that were made, using a method of participant observation. It will also examine the relevance of this particular kind of ritual and how it connects to wider society. It will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There are several features that distinguish a ritual. First, this type of ritual is clearly demarcated from everyday social life; second, these events occur in a regularized manner; third, these events involve stylized activities; and finally, these events involve multiple actors (Knottnerus, 2010, pg. 42). The ritual that forms the basis for this paper was a rally that took place on Friday 1st May, organised in response to the decision of the Abbot Government to begin the forced closure of remote indigenous communities in Western Australia. The purpose of this specific ritual was to generate awareness around the issue of the forced closures, and to demonstrate to the government that there is not unanimous support from the public for the threatened withdrawal of funding from remote communities. The rally started at City Square shortly after 4pm, with the group (numbering around 10,000) marching up Swanston Street and into Bourke Street before amassing at the intersection of Flinders and Swanston Streets, which was blocked for about two hours by sitting protesters until the area re opened to trams and cars around 7pm (Butt Hatch, 2015). It is a true story and a real reflection on the default of being human. If for loss of compassion for this side of humanity, I would say in an objective and extremely distant point of view that it is pathetic. It is good that I am reading it in my 20s, being a daughter, single and childless. I truly get the father s anguish and grief. The poems express oscillating feelings that explore the dimensions of extent of strong human emotion. At the same time I understand the son s rebelliousness to a parent who insists that he (the father) listens yet strongly occurs as imposing. Unfortunately, the love desperately being communicated does not go across. The story revolved in the father s thoughts, dreams and memories without an actual dialogue: an attempt to truly listen and get his son. The father s hopes to someday laugh at these poems with his son is a very real illusion that humans live in by default. • 13. Character Analysis Of Isabel In Ashes By Laurie Halse... In the book Ashes, by Laurie Halse Anderson, there is an African American girl named Isabel. Isabel is NOT the normal respectful young lady people would think she might be. Instead, I think of her as being quite opposite of that. She is nice, but I like to think of her as a tomboy. Something to remember though is they are in a war with the British. She doesn t know who she wants to fight for at first, but then learns what either side has to offer to her. Isabel has many character traits, but to narrow it down, I found three well traits that describe her. One trait would be that she is very stubborn. In the beginning of the story, after Isabel and Curzon reunited with Ruth again, Isabel became overprotective of Ruth. She was stubborn, and wouldn t let Ruth go anywhere without someone with her. Although she is stubborn, there is a reason on why she is that way with Ruth. It is because she doesn t want to lose her again. In the middle of the book when Isabel and Ruth went to the camp to help out, Isabel showed a few ways she was stubborn. One example would be that she wouldn t let Curzon s friends tag along with them to hear what they were discussing, and she was too stubborn to let Curzon kiss her so that his friends would stop bugging him. In the end of the book, when Curzon came back wounded from the victorious battle, Isabel showed her trait of stubborn again. She wouldn t let Curzon get up and do things like his daily work because she made him rest and heal. This shows there are many times in the book that shows her actions that prove her trait of being stubborn. Another trait I think would describe Isabel would be unselfish. In the beginning of the book, to show an example of being unselfish was when she and Curzon were on their way to find Ruth, they had to hide from being seen by the British troops that were near by. While hiding, there was a very poisonous snake that crept up behind Isabel. When she spotted it, it was too late to run away from it. Thankfully Curzon came and killed it right before it was about to make its move on Isabel. She was so unselfish that she risked her own life to find her sister. In the middle, Isabel also gave her food and time to Ruth when Ruth got very sick. Ruth had ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 14. Analysis Of Engineering Student Motivation Using The... Analysis of Engineering Student Motivation using the Expectancy Value Theory Eric Gauck December 5th, 2014 Colorado State University JTC 300 R27 eric.gauck@gmail.com Abstract The purpose of this research is to examine the initial preconceptions that engineering freshmen believe when they first arrive at Colorado State University. Specifically, it will examine the dichotomies between student perception and reality; hopefully revealing the perceptions and values which lead students to leave or persevere in engineering. The focus of analysis on student motivation utilizes the Expectancy Value Theory. Three aspects of the Expectancy Value Theory, expectation, utility, and perseverance, are significant factors which contribute to the completion of challenges. These factors are integrated into a questionnaire designed to evaluate the expectations of freshman engineering students. The implementation of a numerically scaled questionnaire developed from components of the Expectancy Value Theory allows the abstract concept of motivation to be quantified. The analysis of 86 freshman engineering students found that students will need to develop a value in what they are learning or a drive for future goals to persist in completing their declared degrees. Further data collection is recommended to improve sample quality. Introduction This empirical report tests a sample population to better understand the motivations and expectations for freshman engineering students. The intent ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 24. Coronary Collateral Circulation And Humans Are Often More... Studies looking at coronary collateral circulation in humans are typically more controversial. Skeptics have stated that collateral development is probably due to the progression of coronary artery disease rather than an effect of exercise training. In addition, direct measurement of collateral growth, typically through coronary angiographic techniques, is difficult and may have severe limitations due to low levels of resolution of vessels (Heaps et al., 2011). Small vessels involved in the coronary collateral system ( 100μm) are incredibly difficult to view angiographically, so the full magnitude of collateralization may not be assessed or may be drastically underestimated (Heaps et al., 2011; Belardinelli et al., 1998). An additional approach that studies have used to measure collateral circulation development is to measure the rate pressure product in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Increases in rate pressure product at the beginning of myocardial ischemia have been found and is potentially related to increased myocardial oxygen supply from collateral growth stimulation (Senti et al., 1998). After exercise training, coronary patients have also seen a 29% increase in coronary flow reserve in response to adenosine (Hambrecht et al., 1993). Patients with chronic CAD and impaired LV systolic function who exercised at 60% of peak oxygen uptake 3 times a week for 8 weeks saw a significant increase in mean collateral circulation score and improvements in wall ... Without learning, men are incapable of knowing their rights (Rush and Runes N.p). Throughout time, ethically controversial sciences, from vivisection to stem cell research, have embodied a negative stereotype in the eyes of western societies, and have consequently withdrew the freedom that allows scientists to make innovative discoveries. In H.G. Wells novel The Island of Doctor Moreau, this perspective is portrayed through Edward Prendick, an upper class English gentleman with a subtle passion for science. After being stranded on a remote pacific island isolated from civilization, Prendick s perspective on Dr. Moreau s unethical and controversial studies begins to transform over time. The idea that isolation from civilization can result in the freedom to explore one s curiosities is portrayed through Prendick s initial unacceptance of Moreau s vivisection, which, as time on the island elapses, reshapes to one of interest. In The Island of Doctor Moreau, as Edward Prendick spends more time away from civilized society, his perspective regarding Dr. Moreau s ethically controversial discipline, vivisection, begins to shift from a sense of repugnance to one of enthusiasm. Through these perspectives, H.G. Wells argues that Prendick s isolation from civilization is the principle force allowing him to freely embrace the unethical studies on the island and explore his natural curiosity for science, ... If I recall right, my high school english classes assigned only 1 2 papers a year, so writing 4 5 in a semester was a completely new adventure for me. I learned many things in this course that greatly helped me improve my writing. My writing overall improved in style, flow, and basic fundamental writing thought processes, which is all the areas that are hard to learn. I started to see my style and flow had grown bland and very fact based instead of grabbing the attention of the readers. Now that I understand where my writing needs improvement, I can start focusing on those areas and fixing my papers. One of my weaknesses in my writing is that I tend to have a one track mind . Once I have an idea about how to word something or organize an essay, I tend to only see it from that perspective, even if it s not the most optimal way to convey my arguments. This class helped me think outside of the box and learn to organize things like I would not normally do, this included how I would analyze texts or synthesize ideas. The in class activities helped me learn to be creative, the class readings gave me examples on how to organize that creativity and the instructor conferences helped me further organize my thoughts and organization. ... However, many Americans do not know that there is fluoride in their water, what the fluoride is meant to do, or how fluoridating water has become a common practice. The lack of common knowledge on this subject helps to explain why there is also little attention paid to the possible risks of using this process. To better understand why the US fluoridates their water, it is important to learn the history of the subject. The things that he was singing about in his lyrics were extremely relevant to the major events happening not only in America, but around the world at that time, and people were able to relate to his lyrics. Jim Crowe laws were being abolished during the civil rights movement, communism was coming to end in eastern Europe, and so many other things were happening around the world. But the thing that made Bob Dylan so influential on our culture was the fact that he was involved in these events, not only as a person through protests, but as a musician through his lyrics. He galvanized powerful movements for social justice and peace though the power of his music and fame. As Dylan s career continued he expanded his music and made major contributions to the world of music. Many of his songs are folk songs, or renditions of folksy songs, in a bluesy tone with a raspy voice. He was unforgettable because of his new innovative sound, but he took it a step further than that when he performed on an electric guitar for the first time at a concert in 1965. This evidence is shown through similarities in the Genesis creation myths and many Babylonian myths. As an example, there are many similarities shown throughout the Gilgamesh story that relates to the Noah story in Genesis. Some similarities include the heroes character, the order to build a boat, the number of animals, the means of the flood, and the action of sacrificing after the flood. These are only a few of the many similarities interpreted in these stories. The first similarity is that the character of the heroes in both the Gilgamesh story as well as the Genesis/Noah story. Noah received these orders directly from God. On the other hand, Utnapishtim received his order from a dream. The next similarity is the order to build a boat. In the Gilgamesh, Utnapishtim is clearly instructed to build a boat and leave all wealth behind. O man of Shuruppak, son of Ubartutu: Tear down the house and build a boat! • 44. Factors Influencing Dynamic Control Of The Helicopter Pilots The helicopter pilots, in general, are required to be skillful in operations on both improved and unimproved surfaces. During normal or slope takeoffs and landings with some degree of bank angle or side drift with one skid or wheel on the ground causes the helicopter to roll. When the rollover happens, the lateral cyclic control response becomes more sluggish and less effective than for a hovering helicopter. Consequently, if a roll rate is permitted to develop, a critical bank angle may be reached where roll cannot be corrected, even with full lateral cyclic, and the helicopter will roll over onto its side. As the roll rate increases, the angle at which recovery is still possible is significantly reduced. The critical rollover angle is also reduced. So, the goal of this essay is to cover the factors influencing dynamic control such as solo flight, cross wind, tail rotor thrust etc. and understand the recognition of dynamic rollover, how to avoid it and steps required for recovery. In addition, the effects of critical rollover angle on dynamic rollover and factors influencing dynamic rollover are also discussed.
