Warner Brothers And The New Medium Of Radio
When the company ran into financial difficulties in the mid 1920s, It was Sam Warner s interest in the
new medium of radio that led directly to Warner Brothers investing in the Vitaphone. Warner Brothers
then, made the first full length all talking film, and the first all talking colour film in the 1920s.
Warner Brothers is a fully integrated, broad based entertainment company, it is a global leader in all
forms of entertainment and their related businesses across all emerging and current media and
platforms. The multicultural, broad based company is positioned at the forefront of every aspect of the
entertainment industry from feature films, television and home entertainment production and
worldwide distribution to Blu ray and DVD, animation, digital distribution, comic books, brand
licensing and product and broadcasting. This is one of the most admirable, diversified and successful
motion picture and television studios in the world. This all begin when the four brothers (Sam, Albert,
Jack L and Harry Warner) embraced their up and coming movie company on April 4, 1923. Harry, the
eldest of them all was the president of the company and ran its headquarters in New York City, Albert,
was its head of sales and distribution. Jack and Sam managed the studio in Hollywood. Before the up
and coming of the Warner Brothers, they were in the movie business way before the Vitaphone idea.
They would use a film projector and show movies in a tent that they toured throughout

Lab Report Hydrated Magnesium Sulfate
hydrated magnesium sulfate.
Background: According to George B. Kauffman of Britannica, a hydrate is any compound containing
water in the form of H2O molecules, usually, but not always, with a definite content of water by
weight. Within this, there are two aspects of the compound; the water of hydration and the anhydrous
salt. When a hydrate is heated, the water of hydration leaves the compound as vapor due to the
unsteady bonds between the water and salt molecules. The anhydrous salt ends up becoming the only
piece that is leftover. From the two, the percent water in a hydrate and the mass of the salt can be
determined from the loss of the water of hydration. As a result, the formula of the compound can be
found because the masses of the salt and the water can be used to determine the mole ratio, which are
both small, whole numbers.
Materials:
Gas burner
Ring stand and ring
Triangle made from clay
Crucible + lid
Crucible tongs
Wire pad
Balance scale
Spatula
Hydrated magnesium sulfate
Procedure:
Assemble the ring and ring stand atop a flat surface. Place the clay triangle in the center of the ring.
Lastly, bring the crucible with its lid into the clay triangle, so that it is hanging.
Turn on the gas burner and bring it a low heat, only to the point that there is a blue flame. Carefully
push the gas burner under the crucible and heat for around two minutes in order to properly rid the
crucible of any bacterias or other impurities that may affect the lab.

Rafael Trujillo s Farewell Analysis
Recently, there have been astonishing changes to our nation, the Dominican Republic, after the
assassination of Rafael Trujillo, our former president that murdered anyone who resisted his regime
and was once viewed upon as a fatherly figure. We are no longer living in fear of the Servicio de
Inteligencia Militar forces since their disbandment and do not hold a portrait of El Jefe within our
houses, simply having more freedom than we did before. Isn t it true that this is a blessing to us all?
Without a doubt, I give my thanks to the Mirabal sisters, the butterflies whom set our wings
unbounded from Trujillo s oppressive rule through their justified extreme sacrifices to fight for social
change, including orphaning their children and Mate giving ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

We can not forget that the Mirabal sisters are not just heroines, but mothers as well. As mothers, all
they wanted was for their boys and girls to grow up in a free country, a place where individuals are
respected and treated equally. Rafael Trujillo s regime was the complete opposite, it was nothing less
than a dictatorship, in which one person ruled with tyranny and absolute control. After all, what would
be the point of living if you were always taken advantaged of or all those you hold dear to your heart
were taken away in front of your eyes? The meaning of being a mother is virtually endless, yet the
Mirabal sisters are selfless protectors who put themselves on the front line of the rebellion, capable of
being arrested, murdered or imprisoned at any time, in hope of a better future for their children. Not
enough credit is given to how much they treasured each child, how deep their love was up to the point
that they moved the world for them. Think about it again and you will see that they were fighting for
every parent s child and are the fire that fuels our blood, the motivation that allowed us to achieve a
safer and more stabilized civilization that our children live in

Lessons from Operation Eagle Claw
The execution of military operations requires the application of certain fundamental principles, and
tenets that have been the keystone of strategy development and conflict planning, since the appearance
of organized forces. In addition to these tenets and principles, the military relies on the experience of
front line leaders, and lessons learned to ensure operations evolve to focus on current and emerging
threats. Currently, the United States military is waging wars on two fronts, Iraq and Afghanistan. To be
successful, these operations require the coordinated efforts of all branches of service, Army, Navy, Air
Force and Marines. Unfortunately, joint and special operations haven t always been executed as

Getting the helicopters staged at Desert One proved more difficult than initially imagined. Even before
the initial wave of the helicopters reached Desert One, the mission experienced a loss due to pilot
unfamiliarity with the warning signals of the Navy helicopter. This incident reduced the available
helicopters for the mission, from eight to seven. The weather dealt the mission its second blow. As the
helicopters continued toward Desert One, they encountered severe sandstorms. The sandstorms proved
difficult for the pilots. One pilot became disoriented and turned back, once again reducing the number
of available helicopters, which now stood at six. Once the remaining six helicopters arrived at Desert
One, the operation was ready to proceed. As aircraft and Delta Force operators were positioned in the
final stages for execution, one of the final six helicopters experienced a hydraulic problem that caused
the safety of the craft to be called into question. Ultimately, this malfunction issued the final blow to
the troubled mission. After the order to abort was confirmed and evacuation initiated, as if to add
insult to injury, the already failed mission received one final fatal blow. While repositioning for
departure, one of the five remaining helicopters passed too closely to a parked C 130 cargo plane. The
rotors of the helicopter clipped the C 130 and sparked an explosion that ultimately killed eight military
members. It was later

Essay on The Influence of IM on Society
The Influence of IM on Society
Before I explore how a term like cyberculture has became a phenomena, I must first explain what
cyberculture is. According to wordreference.com, cyberculture is the culture that emerges from the use
of computers for communication and entertainment and business. When asked to do this research on
communication and the changes society has gone through as a result of something technological, the
first thing I thought of was instant messaging. In an article, Internet jargon, acronyms enter English
language, Michelle Talsma sites Andrew Chang s definition of IM language as, A collection of
abbreviations, acronyms, and phonetic replacements make up a kind of Internet shorthand text that has

With the option of instant messaging services incorporated into cell phones, people can talk on IM
from their phones without disturbing people with their voices.
Nonverbal communication is a form of communication that is always communicating, even when one
isn t speaking. An example of nonverbal communication is when one is talking or listening one might
smile, indicating they are happy with what was communicated or one might yawn indicating one is
bored or not interested with the topic of conversation. Without the luxury of seeing each other in
cyberspace, nonverbal cues are not known. Since IM has become popular everything has become
abbreviated, even ones emotion and nonverbal cues. IM users have become aware of the distance
associated with cyber communication. To compensate for the distance users have created a way to
make IM more personal. Examples of emotion and nonverbal cues were created to fill the
communication gaps, examples are: :) I m happy, :( I m sad , :S I have mixed feelings, 8) I m wide
awake, :0 I m surprised, (:0 I m very surprised, :p Sticking out the tongue, :9 Yummy, :/ Hmmm, :v I
m chatting. Aside from the written emotions many IM services offer default almost cartoon like
emotions. Examples of these are written in HTML code and offer an abundance of colorful emotions.
As a result of the World Wide Web and instant messaging, culture itself is changing. The influence of

Introduction Jim Fogle has worked in the technical sector for more than 30 years. He has held various
positions within the same company throughout his career. During this time, he has witnessed the
introduction of new technologies while countless others have gone obsolete. Although Fogle possesses
several years of proven industry experience, his career path does not reflect his performance or skills.
In fact, Fogle s career has tended to move on a downward slope. Originally a member of the
Engineering department, Fogle has found himself serving within progressively lesser roles. Twenty

As employees get older, job performance across various professional and non professional positions
has been proven to hold steady (Judge and Judge, 2007, pg. 49 50). Despite evidence to the contrary,
stereotypes and biased beliefs continue to permeate the information technology sector. This is partially
due to the nature of the industry itself. Information technology companies are geared towards
developing innovative technical products and services for businesses and consumers. Technology
rapidly evolves and adapts to address society s needs. For instance, the telephone gave way to the
facsimile machine. This soon became virtually obsolete with the introduction of newer technologies
such as email and instant messaging (Charness, 2006). Companies within the IT sector seek to
maintain a workforce that reflects the youth and vigor of their technology. Sylvia Francis, a researcher
of age discrimination, notes, These industries are looking to match staff with their perceived young
image, and once you hit 40 you no longer fit (Computer Weekly, 2006). Older workers also tend to
shun job postings or interviews referring to young, dynamic organizations or projects, as these
descriptors infer an environment that prefers youth rather than experience (Goodwin, 2006). A 2001
survey illustrates the disparity in both staffing and average salaries for IT professionals. This survey
consisted of 3,629 total respondents, of which 40

Hydration Of Norbornene
This report concerns the acid catalyzed hydration of norbornene to produce exo norborneol. Such
hydration reactions of alkenes typically occur under acidic conditions so that a strong enough
electrophile is available in solution for the nucleophilic double bond on the alkene to successfully
attack it. This is to say, that if this reaction is done in water, with the hydrogen as the electrophile, the
O H bond is too strong for the double bond to effectively attack the hydrogen and detach it. If instead
H3O+ is available in acidic conditions, the extra proton attached to the molecule is the electrophile;
this electrophile is strong enough for the reaction to proceed. After the double bond attacks the
hydrogen, a carbocation forms as the proton attaches to the least substituted carbon of the ones
participating in the double bond. This happens because this allows the more stable carbocation to
form, as the positive charge would then exist on the more substituted carbon. The functional groups
attached to this carbocation donate their electron density to it, thus stabilizing it. This overall effect is
often called the Markovnikov rule. However, in this case the two carbons that are connected to each
other by the double bond are the same in terms of how substituted they are, and the hydrogen can
bond to either of them and still yield the same product. The resulting carbocation can then be attacked
by a water molecule. In theory, water can either attack from the top or bottom

Understanding The Chinese Culture Of A Chinese Patient
Many health care professionals think that if patients are just treated with respect, then cultural issues
will be avoided. That statement is not the correct. Five points of area that affect nursing care when
taking care of a Chinese patient, are the cultural beliefs with medical treatments, who and when to
discuss the prognosis and medical treatment to, dietary beliefs, pregnancies beliefs, and death and
dying. Many Chinese people believe in traditional Chinese medical treatments, and if the doctors and
nurses disregard their beliefs, then that could lead to mistrust. Chinese people may try traditional
approaches first, and then seek medical care if they fail. Communication barriers may delay patients
from getting medical treatment. Cross cultural communication skills are extremely important to avoid
miscommunication. A couple accommodations needed in nursing care would be to take some extra
time to build a rapport with the patient before discussing any medical issues. Recognize how the
Chinese culture views doctors and nurses, and encourage the patient to ask questions, and give them a
chance to answer the questions. In the Chinese culture, when the patient is slow to respond to a
question, or seems to be hesitant, it is simply a sign that respect is being given to the person that is
asking the question (Cross Cultural Communications for Healthcare Professionals, 2015). Chinese
people speak in low volume and considered Americans to speak loud, so health care

The Effects Of Family Systems On Healthy Development
The Affects of Family Systems on Healthy Development
Relationship between Family Systems and Development Family systems are essential to the healthy
development of a child. Family systems and development go hand in hand. Children who come from a
healthy family system are more likely to have a healthy development. Children who come from an
unhealthy family system are more likely to have an unhealthy development. According to David V.
Papero (2014), Murray Bowen developed a family systems theory, called the Bowen theory, to
distinguish it from other systems theories (p. 386). Papero (2014) goes on to say that, the theory
proposes that emotional, physical, relational, and social symptoms in a person or set of relationships
reflect disturbances in the family relationship system itself (p. 386). It is vitally important for parents
and other caregivers to help their children develop in a healthy manner. Although there might be some
disturbances in a family system, the disturbance should not take precedent over the healthy
development of a child. Healthy development occurs when a child comes from a healthy family
system where the children has one or two people in their lives who will take time to invest in them and
care for them. Healthy family systems are critical to healthy development. Development starts in
infancy and continues through adulthood (Broderick Blewitt, 2015, p. 20). As a result, it is important
for caregivers to help children develop in a healthy manner.

Marriage and Weddings
When you are a little girl, you are bought baby dolls, a Barbie dressed in white, a Ken in a matching
tux, and a plastic kitchen set. You grow up saying that when you get big, you want to be a stay at

As a child, nearly every little girl is told You are going to grow up, graduate high school, have a great
big wedding and have babies. It is something we that are taught to look forward to and to aspire for
from age five, but does it really make us happy? The average wedding in the United States costs thirty

Waiting to get married also has a lot of personal benefits. When you get married, you have another
person, and possible people, tied to you. You can t just up and move to benefit your career if you have
a spouse, kids, and a large extended family that expects to see you every Christmas. People who marry
later in life tend to be more successful in their line of work, as they can make more sacrifices for their
job. Being more successful in your career usually means more money as well, which is a benefit. The
money that you earn only needs to feed and clothe one person, and the rest can go into savings and
investments, which will without doubt be helpful at a later date. Of course, I m not saying Don t get
married! I am trying to say that traditional marriage is not always the way to go. There are many
different options and there is surely one for every person and couple.
A couple with little money shouldn t feel the need to spend thirty thousand dollars on an extravagant
wedding when they would be equally as happy, and better off financially, with a small group of close
friends and family at a courthouse. Just as a couple who has been together thirty years should not feel
the need to sign official documents if that s not what they want, either. Maybe a couple is very rich,

The Pros And Cons Of The League Of Nations
President Woodrow Wilson established America s goal for joining World War I as making the world
safe for democracy. At the conclusion of the War, President Wilson declared fourteen principles for
peace to be used during the Paris Peace Conference, called the Fourteen Points. The most important of
these points was the final point: a general association of nations with the guarantees of political and
territorial independence and security. As the Peace Conference progressed, more nations ratified the
Treaty of Versailles and joined the League of Nations, the embodiment of President Wilson s
fourteenth point. However, Senate the United States, from President Wilson s own country, did not

Compare And Contrast Virginia And New England Colonies
In the New World, various resources, climates, and considerable amounts of land allowed numerous
opportunities for settlers. Those who once yearned to climb the social ladder or gain the freedoms
bestowed from land ownership flocked toward the newfound settlements. Colonization proved to be a
grueling task; however, success was found after adapting to the new environment and facing many
hardships. Two colonies established early in the seventeenth century included Virginia and New
England. Both Virginia and New England were forerunning settlements that differed in the following
senses: political, social, and economical. Politically, Virginia and New England differed in the basis of
their governing systems. Virginia focused on the desire of its individuals: (t)hat our governors by
reason of the corruption of those times they lived in, laid the foundation of our wealth and industry on
the vices of men. This standard of government was an early precursor to democracy and allowed
Virginian s to feel the rights of being freemen. New England, instead of basing their government on
the individual desires of man, governed the colony on the basis of Christianity. The New England
settlers strongly believed the spirit of God would deliver them and create greatness in the colony: the
God of Israel is among us, and ten of us shall be able to resist a thousand of our enemies. The Lord
will make our name a praise and glory. The colony wanted to be set above the rest, or in other words,

Social Historian Anne Else Recalls
In 1959, hundreds of people queued in the hot sun to see inside the houses at the Parade of Homes in
the Wellington suburb of Tawa. Not all were looking to buy. Parades such as this provided inspiration
for home renovations and do it yourself projects. As Designing Housewife wrote in the Evening Post
the following year: There is no doubt that the parade of homes is next in popularity to racing and
football amongst New
Zealanders. 1 She might perhaps have added that this was especially the case for women, who were
expected to follow trends with particular enthusiasm.
Social historian Anne Else recalls: I picked up the message very early, mainly from the pages of my
mother s fat weekly bundle of magazines, showing fascinating floor plans of the right and wrong way
to arrange furniture, or ten bright ideas for trimming lamp shades. 2
The home is central to most nostalgic re imaginings of the 1950s and 1960s. Home and home life were
also fundamental components of the New Zealand Dream and the New Zealand way of life , and were
the focus of a great deal of government social policy.3 This emphasis on house and home was partly
pragmatic: couples were marrying younger and in greater numbers after the war, and most of them
were seeking stability and starting families. But the domestic emphasis was also an expression of
quintessentially New Zealand expectations about how families should live and bring up children, and
how that should be encapsulated in a separate house, on

Dulce Et Est Decorum Essay
Poetry can be dangerous, especially beautiful poetry, because it gives the illusion of having had the
experience without actually going through it. Good evening and welcome to burning poetry, I m your
host Izzy and tonight s topic is based around Wilfred Owens poem Dulce et Est Decorum. War is often
glorified but in reality is a futile and devastating event, Owen explores this in his poem Dulce et Est
decorum. Owens Dulce Est Decorum is a poem that relates to modern day society through its ability to
leave a large impact on the audience. During the years of 1914 to 1918, over nine million people died

Caught in the middle of all the tragedy that was primarily based in trenches, Owen began to find it
hard to account for all the distress and death he witnessed. Progressively becoming more convinced
that the war seemed to be carrying on past its purpose, Owen began to write poetry that highlighted
the irony of his situation. Owens Dulce et Est decorum explores the true events of war being the
tragedy and suffering that takes place. He points out to the reader that war is definitely not something
to be glorified or praised, and that the real meaning of being proud to fight for your country, has been
taken away.
Poetic devices are tools that a poet can utilize to create rhythm, enhance a poems meaning, or
reinforce a mood or feeling. Dulce et Est decorum by Wilfred Owen enhances the real life effects and
devastation that war leaves on people. The psychology behind the everyday battle that veterans of war
face, has been misunderstood by society. This mental state controls these peoples lives on a daily
basis. Owen s poem is four stanzas of outlining the horrific events he

Disadvantages Of Mutual Funds
Mutual funds are investment plans that let you to pool your money together with additional investors
to purchase a collection of securities that might be difficult to recreate on your own. This is often
referred to like a portfolio. The price of the mutual fund, also recognized as its net asset value is
determined by the total value of the securities in the portfolio, divided by the number of the fund s

of every business day. Note that mutual fund investors do not really own the securities in which the

Henry s state of mind due to his inability to sleep. By personifying sleep within the soliloquy, a great
impact is created which creates the illusion that sleep is purposely ignoring King Henry while
bestowing its gift on his subjects. Through powerful imagery Shakespeare is able to show the turmoil
of King Henry s mind while seeking out sleep. Beginning the soliloquy with an image of a thousand of
my poorest subjects / Are at this hour asleep, Shakespeare is able to show the isolation King Henry
feels. (L 1 2). His loathing towards not only sleep, but also his common subjects who are graced by it
can be seen later within the text: ...why liest thou with the vile / In loathsome beds, and leav st the
kingly couch / A watch case or a common larum bell (L 12 14). The imagery used by Shakespeare
concerning the sea boy further exemplifies his desire to find rest. Wilt thou... / Seal up the ship boy s
eyes, and rock his brains /...In the visitation of the winds, / And in the calmest and most stillest ...

The syntax at the beginning of the text makes use of several short exclamations, conveying his
urgency. The sentence structure builds throughout the passage, with fairly complex structure at the
end; this provides a natural build within the soliloquy. Additionally, there are several questions posed
throughout the passage which reveal King Henry s distress. The diction reveals a shift within King
Henry. While referring to sleep as gentle (L. 2) and Nature s soft nurse (L. 3) at the beginning of the
text, he shifts to a more aggressive approach, calling it a dull god (L. 12) and partial (L. 23) later in the
speech. Throughout the soliloquy are words such as hush d (L. 8) and lull d (L. 11) which create a

Feasibility Study For A Business
Undertaking a feasibility study for a start up business or for any project that required investment
would not be a waste of effort, even, if eventually the business idea becomes irrelevant. The business

A Career In Nursing
There are many factors that attribute to my desire to pursue a career in nursing. My personal
experiences in health care settings, both as a patient and as a volunteer, brought to my attention my
strong desire to live a life that will impact others in a positive way. A career in nursing is a perfect
channel through which I can fulfill this desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Throughout my life, I have seen nurses that went above and beyond to help the patient, as well as
those that did the bare minimum required of them. I have seen how a nurse has the potential to either
ease the anxiety in a room or worsen it. I have always greatly respected the nursing position and
believe that it is one that should not be taken lightly, as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I volunteer at the Kennedy Health Care Center, and as a volunteer, I am directly involved with the
long term care patients of the facility. Throughout the whole experience, I learned a great deal about
interacting with confused and scared individuals because many of the residents at the facility have
some form of dementia. I will never forget one specific interaction that taught me a valuable lesson on
the impact of those working in healthcare. There was an elderly resident in the facility that was known
to be difficult to deal with. She would incessantly cry out Save me! although there was nothing wrong.
Because this was typical behavior for the women, the people around her would often pay little
attention to her. One afternoon I saw that this women s cries were irritating the other residents in the
dayroom. I went up to the women and began talking to her to try to calm her down. I was able to get
her to realize that there was nothing wrong. Once she was calm I asked her if she would like me to
paint her nails, and she looked thrilled with my proposition. After I painted her nails, I witnessed her
entire mood change. Instead of shouting, she spent the rest of the afternoon showing off her newly
painted nails. I saw her entire mood change simply from me taking the time to show her that I cared.
When I become a nurse, my day will be full of opportunities to show patients that I care, and that is
something that I look forward

Pigmented Skin Lesions
The aim of this study is to enable non expert user to distinguish between benign and malignant
pigmented skin lesions using a new threshold based algorithm. 282 macroscopic images of pigmented

Social Community Within A Sixth Grade Classroom
Introduction As an educator, I always believe that the classroom is the epitome of a social community
in which culturally, ethnically, and racially diverse students function, learn, and succeed through
collaborations with their classmates and me. In order for my pedagogical efforts to be effective, a
learning community should be established, administered, and maintained because students will not
learn or respond to my motivational attempts if they feel insecure, disconnected, or negative. The
concept I am interested in is the establishment of an interactive and connective learning community
within a sixth grade classroom. Because certain needs must be fulfilled before teaching and
pedagogical strategies become effective, lower level needs should be satisfied before higher level
needs can be functional and operative. Not only can the satisfaction and motivation of students be
affected by the very nature of learning and the outcomes they expect to gain, but also by the learning
environment they situate and their relationships with peers, and most specifically, their feelings and
perceptions about me. Therefore, constructing an optimal social and learning community is absolutely
indispensable to my class and the formation of emotional bonds between my students and me. A
learning community serves as a reminder for educators that students come to class to acquire enriching
and empowering dispositions, knowledge, skills, and values, which go beyond merely performing
tasks and

Gene Expression in Eukaryotes
Gene expression in eukaryotes can be broken down into three stages. These stages include
Transcription, RNA processing, and Translation. These steps are similar to gene expression in
prokaryotes but RNA processing is specific to gene expression in eukaryotes.
Transcription
Transcription happens in the cell nucleus. This is where DNA can be found. For example you can use
DNA as instructions to make certain things such as proteins, but, these instructions are in a different
language and you do not understand them, so the workers that will eventually assemble them cannot
work with them. This is where mRNA will come into play. The mRNA will provide the workers or
cells with new instructions that will be used to build the protiens. In transcription DNA is unzipped
and the enzyme RNA polymerase RNA polymerase binds to the promoter region. This starts the
unwinding of the DNA strands, and the polymerase starts RNA synthesis which runs along the
template strand of the DNA. In eukaryotic cells proteins called transcription factors bind to promoters
that include a TATA box, 25 nucleotides upstream from the start of transcription. After, more
transcription factors will bind to the DNA, together with RNA polymerase II, forming the
transcription initiation complex.
The second step of transcription is the process of elongation. This is where the polymerase moves
downstream while it unwinds the DNA and elongates the RNA from 5 to 3 . As the RNA synthesis
continues downstream the new

Rabbit Proof Fence Analysis
The film, Rabbit Proof Fence, is directed by Phillip Noyce, and it is a film about three young
Aboriginal half caste girls (Molly, Daisy, and Gracie) who were forcibly taken away from their
families and taken to the camp at Moore River Native Settlement to be taught to become servants. A
couple of days after arriving at Moore River Settlement, the girls run away from the camp and go
through a terrible journey of one thousand five hundred miles trying to find their way back to their
family. An Aboriginal tracker, Moodoo is called to find them. The girls cover their tracks and avoid
Moodoo, getting help from village people. She pretty clever girl. She wants to go home. They
experienced fears and doubts along the way to Australia to make it back to their family. Throughout
the film, Noyce uses many effective film techniques to analyze the emotions and characteristics of
important individuals to show specific scenes such as camera angles, lighting, filters, and dialogue.
Camera angles are used in the film to expand the size and control of important characters. Phillip
Noyce set angles of the camera onto the characters to appear stronger, and an example is when a low
shot appeared of Mr. Neville at the beginning of the film, he is controlling the removal of the
Aboriginal girls from Jigalong. As you know, every Aborigine born in this state comes under my
control. Noyce has set Mr. Neville as the Chief Protector of Aborigines and the antagonist in the film.
Since he has control, he is the leader, and needs to appear larger than everyone else. He became strict
and fearful. Later in the film, when the girls run away from the settlement, the camera angles of him
became higher. Noyce has purposely set angles to show Mr. Neville losing control of the girls;
therefore, he is powerless and exposed. Another example is in the scene where they were being taken
away, the camera shot was a close up to show the facial expression of the characters. The camera
angle for this view is with an eye to eye level to explain reality. This helps the audience to better
determine, by using camera angles, the importance of each character in the film. Phillip uses tricks on
the angles to let the audience think that character appears

Theories Of Synergy Theory
One of the theories used to explain why firms engage in M A is the synergy theory. Synergy theory or
hypothesis asserts that the sum value of both individual firms before an M A is lower than that of the
combined firm (Seth, 1990). This increase in value is due to the effect of the synergy potentials which
could only be realized by combining operational and financial resources of both firms. These
synergies present the extra value created by merger. Thus, creating value for shareholders that at least
equates or exceeds the cost of the acquisition should be the primary objective of any M A. Essentially,
synergies should be the sole principle in justifying companies to engage in M A. In theory, financial
synergy of a merger is realized when ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
No private assumption on the value of a company is given. Oftentimes, this is not the case. The Harris
poll published in 1984 suggest otherwise. According to the Harris poll, only 32 percent of the
surveyed executives thought that the stock market correctly value their companies price, while 60
percent disagreed and felt that their companies are undervalued (Harris poll, 20 February 1984). This
private assumption of fair price could easily find its way onto the M A negotiation table. Therefore,
another theory the valuation theory is also used to analyze how M A could create value for the
shareholders. The valuation theory states that the managers of the acquiring firm may possess more
knowledge of the target firm than what actually is being valued through the price of stock in the
market (Trautwein, 1990). The knowledge, termed asymmetric information by Ravenscraft and
Scherer (1987), could include an undervaluation of the target firm, or an unbeknownst advantage in
the event the two firms are combined. While the later statement is more or less in alignment with the
synergy theory, the mentioned synergy here has not been fully evaluated by the market. The former
suggests that a discrepancy between market value and private assumption on the price of a target due
to undisclosed asymmetric information. Both can put the price of acquisition at market value but well
below its true value. Valuation theory suggested that once the target firm become acquired part of the
acquiring firm and the asymmetric information is fully disclosed, the shareholders would experience
an immediate wealth effect due to revaluation of the market based on the newly available

Honduras Problems
Not too long ago, the United States witnessed the horror of seeing tens of thousands of

Athletes Should Be Paid
How sport is presented and supported today can mean total success or deep failure tomorrow. Every
year the government of Canada provides money for athletics through three programs all of which add
up to around $256 million, but that is only going towards the athletes, not even the facilities. The
average cost to build a new professional facility is $6 billion, and to build a simple recreational center
it costs $5.7 million. Contractors and businessmen set budgets before building anything new but the
budgets always rise; regions get no economic boost from spending money on tickets and building
projects and spectators are becoming uninterested in watching live games. The government should not
use taxpayer dollars to support athletes and build ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are many taxpayers willing to donate money to sports industry for support to athletes and
everything else involved. Everybody else that does not enjoy or want things to do with sports should
not be paying for the people that do. Many citizens, due to ticket prices, never get to use those
facilities in the first place, so they shouldn t have to help pay to have them built. These leagues make
millions, if not billions of dollars a year they should build the stadiums with their own funds found on
Debate. A stadium will bring benefits to the city or town as a whole and employ more people. When a
new stadium is built usually it means the old one was dated or the city wanted something new and
shiny, when opening the same people are being hired to run the new one as the one prior to it so really
new people are not being employed. Sports teams are making enough money to build their own
stadiums if needed so cities do not really need to help them. Canada should not be using taxpayer
dollars to run new facilities and support

  • 2. Warner Brothers And The New Medium Of Radio When the company ran into financial difficulties in the mid 1920s, It was Sam Warner s interest in the new medium of radio that led directly to Warner Brothers investing in the Vitaphone. Warner Brothers then, made the first full length all talking film, and the first all talking colour film in the 1920s. Warner Brothers is a fully integrated, broad based entertainment company, it is a global leader in all forms of entertainment and their related businesses across all emerging and current media and platforms. This all begin when the four brothers (Sam, Albert, Jack L and Harry Warner) embraced their up and coming movie company on April 4, 1923. Harry, the eldest of them all was the president of the company and ran its headquarters in New York City, Albert, was its head of sales and distribution. Jack and Sam managed the studio in Hollywood. • 3. Lab Report Hydrated Magnesium Sulfate hydrated magnesium sulfate. Background: According to George B. Kauffman of Britannica, a hydrate is any compound containing water in the form of H2O molecules, usually, but not always, with a definite content of water by weight. Within this, there are two aspects of the compound; the water of hydration and the anhydrous salt. When a hydrate is heated, the water of hydration leaves the compound as vapor due to the unsteady bonds between the water and salt molecules. The anhydrous salt ends up becoming the only piece that is leftover. From the two, the percent water in a hydrate and the mass of the salt can be determined from the loss of the water of hydration. As a result, the formula of the compound can be found because the masses of the salt and the water can be used to determine the mole ratio, which are both small, whole numbers. Materials: Gas burner Ring stand and ring Triangle made from clay Crucible + lid Crucible tongs Wire pad Balance scale Spatula Hydrated magnesium sulfate Procedure: Assemble the ring and ring stand atop a flat surface. Place the clay triangle in the center of the ring. Lastly, bring the crucible with its lid into the clay triangle, so that it is hanging. Turn on the gas burner and bring it a low heat, only to the point that there is a blue flame. Carefully push the gas burner under the crucible and heat for around two minutes in order to properly rid the crucible of any bacterias or other impurities that may affect the lab. Once two ... • 4. Rafael Trujillo s Farewell Analysis Recently, there have been astonishing changes to our nation, the Dominican Republic, after the assassination of Rafael Trujillo, our former president that murdered anyone who resisted his regime and was once viewed upon as a fatherly figure. We are no longer living in fear of the Servicio de Inteligencia Militar forces since their disbandment and do not hold a portrait of El Jefe within our houses, simply having more freedom than we did before. Isn t it true that this is a blessing to us all? Without a doubt, I give my thanks to the Mirabal sisters, the butterflies whom set our wings unbounded from Trujillo s oppressive rule through their justified extreme sacrifices to fight for social change, including orphaning their children and Mate giving ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We can not forget that the Mirabal sisters are not just heroines, but mothers as well. As mothers, all they wanted was for their boys and girls to grow up in a free country, a place where individuals are respected and treated equally. Rafael Trujillo s regime was the complete opposite, it was nothing less than a dictatorship, in which one person ruled with tyranny and absolute control. After all, what would be the point of living if you were always taken advantaged of or all those you hold dear to your heart were taken away in front of your eyes? The meaning of being a mother is virtually endless, yet the Mirabal sisters are selfless protectors who put themselves on the front line of the rebellion, capable of being arrested, murdered or imprisoned at any time, in hope of a better future for their children. Not enough credit is given to how much they treasured each child, how deep their love was up to the point that they moved the world for them. Think about it again and you will see that they were fighting for every parent s child and are the fire that fuels our blood, the motivation that allowed us to achieve a safer and more stabilized civilization that our children live in ... • 5. Lessons from Operation Eagle Claw The execution of military operations requires the application of certain fundamental principles, and tenets that have been the keystone of strategy development and conflict planning, since the appearance of organized forces. In addition to these tenets and principles, the military relies on the experience of front line leaders, and lessons learned to ensure operations evolve to focus on current and emerging threats. Currently, the United States military is waging wars on two fronts, Iraq and Afghanistan. To be successful, these operations require the coordinated efforts of all branches of service, Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. Unfortunately, joint and special operations haven t always been executed as smoothly as the current ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Getting the helicopters staged at Desert One proved more difficult than initially imagined. Even before the initial wave of the helicopters reached Desert One, the mission experienced a loss due to pilot unfamiliarity with the warning signals of the Navy helicopter. This incident reduced the available helicopters for the mission, from eight to seven. The weather dealt the mission its second blow. As the helicopters continued toward Desert One, they encountered severe sandstorms. The sandstorms proved difficult for the pilots. One pilot became disoriented and turned back, once again reducing the number of available helicopters, which now stood at six. Once the remaining six helicopters arrived at Desert One, the operation was ready to proceed. As aircraft and Delta Force operators were positioned in the final stages for execution, one of the final six helicopters experienced a hydraulic problem that caused the safety of the craft to be called into question. Ultimately, this malfunction issued the final blow to the troubled mission. After the order to abort was confirmed and evacuation initiated, as if to add insult to injury, the already failed mission received one final fatal blow. While repositioning for departure, one of the five remaining helicopters passed too closely to a parked C 130 cargo plane. The rotors of the helicopter clipped the C 130 and sparked an explosion that ultimately killed eight military members. It was later ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Essay on The Influence of IM on Society The Influence of IM on Society Before I explore how a term like cyberculture has became a phenomena, I must first explain what cyberculture is. According to wordreference.com, cyberculture is the culture that emerges from the use of computers for communication and entertainment and business. When asked to do this research on communication and the changes society has gone through as a result of something technological, the first thing I thought of was instant messaging. In an article, Internet jargon, acronyms enter English language, Michelle Talsma sites Andrew Chang s definition of IM language as, A collection of abbreviations, acronyms, and phonetic replacements make up a kind of Internet shorthand text that has been dubbed ... With the option of instant messaging services incorporated into cell phones, people can talk on IM from their phones without disturbing people with their voices. Nonverbal communication is a form of communication that is always communicating, even when one isn t speaking. An example of nonverbal communication is when one is talking or listening one might smile, indicating they are happy with what was communicated or one might yawn indicating one is bored or not interested with the topic of conversation. Without the luxury of seeing each other in cyberspace, nonverbal cues are not known. Since IM has become popular everything has become abbreviated, even ones emotion and nonverbal cues. IM users have become aware of the distance associated with cyber communication. To compensate for the distance users have created a way to make IM more personal. Examples of emotion and nonverbal cues were created to fill the communication gaps, examples are: :) I m happy, :( I m sad , :S I have mixed feelings, 8) I m wide awake, :0 I m surprised, (:0 I m very surprised, :p Sticking out the tongue, :9 Yummy, :/ Hmmm, :v I m chatting. During this time, he has witnessed the introduction of new technologies while countless others have gone obsolete. Although Fogle possesses several years of proven industry experience, his career path does not reflect his performance or skills. In fact, Fogle s career has tended to move on a downward slope. Originally a member of the Engineering department, Fogle has found himself serving within progressively lesser roles. Twenty years ago, Fogle served as an area support manager and coordinated technical service and support over the Southeast region. Fifteen ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As employees get older, job performance across various professional and non professional positions has been proven to hold steady (Judge and Judge, 2007, pg. 49 50). Despite evidence to the contrary, stereotypes and biased beliefs continue to permeate the information technology sector. This is partially due to the nature of the industry itself. Information technology companies are geared towards developing innovative technical products and services for businesses and consumers. Technology rapidly evolves and adapts to address society s needs. For instance, the telephone gave way to the facsimile machine. This soon became virtually obsolete with the introduction of newer technologies such as email and instant messaging (Charness, 2006). Companies within the IT sector seek to maintain a workforce that reflects the youth and vigor of their technology. Sylvia Francis, a researcher of age discrimination, notes, These industries are looking to match staff with their perceived young image, and once you hit 40 you no longer fit (Computer Weekly, 2006). Older workers also tend to shun job postings or interviews referring to young, dynamic organizations or projects, as these descriptors infer an environment that prefers youth rather than experience (Goodwin, 2006). A 2001 survey illustrates the disparity in both staffing and average salaries for IT professionals. This survey consisted of 3,629 total respondents, of which 40 ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. Hydration Of Norbornene This report concerns the acid catalyzed hydration of norbornene to produce exo norborneol. Such hydration reactions of alkenes typically occur under acidic conditions so that a strong enough electrophile is available in solution for the nucleophilic double bond on the alkene to successfully attack it. This is to say, that if this reaction is done in water, with the hydrogen as the electrophile, the O H bond is too strong for the double bond to effectively attack the hydrogen and detach it. If instead H3O+ is available in acidic conditions, the extra proton attached to the molecule is the electrophile; this electrophile is strong enough for the reaction to proceed. After the double bond attacks the hydrogen, a carbocation forms as the proton attaches to the least substituted carbon of the ones participating in the double bond. This happens because this allows the more stable carbocation to form, as the positive charge would then exist on the more substituted carbon. The functional groups attached to this carbocation donate their electron density to it, thus stabilizing it. This overall effect is often called the Markovnikov rule. However, in this case the two carbons that are connected to each other by the double bond are the same in terms of how substituted they are, and the hydrogen can bond to either of them and still yield the same product. The resulting carbocation can then be attacked by a water molecule. In theory, water can either attack from the top or bottom ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Five points of area that affect nursing care when taking care of a Chinese patient, are the cultural beliefs with medical treatments, who and when to discuss the prognosis and medical treatment to, dietary beliefs, pregnancies beliefs, and death and dying. Many Chinese people believe in traditional Chinese medical treatments, and if the doctors and nurses disregard their beliefs, then that could lead to mistrust. Chinese people may try traditional approaches first, and then seek medical care if they fail. Communication barriers may delay patients from getting medical treatment. Cross cultural communication skills are extremely important to avoid miscommunication. A couple accommodations needed in nursing care would be to take some extra time to build a rapport with the patient before discussing any medical issues. Recognize how the Chinese culture views doctors and nurses, and encourage the patient to ask questions, and give them a chance to answer the questions. In the Chinese culture, when the patient is slow to respond to a question, or seems to be hesitant, it is simply a sign that respect is being given to the person that is asking the question (Cross Cultural Communications for Healthcare Professionals, 2015). Chinese people speak in low volume and considered Americans to speak loud, so health care ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. The Effects Of Family Systems On Healthy Development The Affects of Family Systems on Healthy Development Relationship between Family Systems and Development Family systems are essential to the healthy development of a child. Family systems and development go hand in hand. Children who come from a healthy family system are more likely to have a healthy development. Children who come from an unhealthy family system are more likely to have an unhealthy development. According to David V. Papero (2014), Murray Bowen developed a family systems theory, called the Bowen theory, to distinguish it from other systems theories (p. 386). Papero (2014) goes on to say that, the theory proposes that emotional, physical, relational, and social symptoms in a person or set of relationships reflect disturbances in the family relationship system itself (p. 386). It is vitally important for parents and other caregivers to help their children develop in a healthy manner. Although there might be some disturbances in a family system, the disturbance should not take precedent over the healthy development of a child. Healthy development occurs when a child comes from a healthy family system where the children has one or two people in their lives who will take time to invest in them and care for them. Healthy family systems are critical to healthy development. Development starts in infancy and continues through adulthood (Broderick Blewitt, 2015, p. 20). As a result, it is important for caregivers to help children develop in a healthy manner. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Those who once yearned to climb the social ladder or gain the freedoms bestowed from land ownership flocked toward the newfound settlements. Colonization proved to be a grueling task; however, success was found after adapting to the new environment and facing many hardships. Two colonies established early in the seventeenth century included Virginia and New England. Both Virginia and New England were forerunning settlements that differed in the following senses: political, social, and economical. Politically, Virginia and New England differed in the basis of their governing systems. Virginia focused on the desire of its individuals: (t)hat our governors by reason of the corruption of those times they lived in, laid the foundation of our wealth and industry on the vices of men. This standard of government was an early precursor to democracy and allowed Virginian s to feel the rights of being freemen. New England, instead of basing their government on the individual desires of man, governed the colony on the basis of Christianity. The New England settlers strongly believed the spirit of God would deliver them and create greatness in the colony: the God of Israel is among us, and ten of us shall be able to resist a thousand of our enemies. As Designing Housewife wrote in the Evening Post the following year: There is no doubt that the parade of homes is next in popularity to racing and football amongst New Zealanders. 1 She might perhaps have added that this was especially the case for women, who were expected to follow trends with particular enthusiasm. Social historian Anne Else recalls: I picked up the message very early, mainly from the pages of my mother s fat weekly bundle of magazines, showing fascinating floor plans of the right and wrong way to arrange furniture, or ten bright ideas for trimming lamp shades. 2 The home is central to most nostalgic re imaginings of the 1950s and 1960s. Home and home life were also fundamental components of the New Zealand Dream and the New Zealand way of life , and were the focus of a great deal of government social policy.3 This emphasis on house and home was partly pragmatic: couples were marrying younger and in greater numbers after the war, and most of them were seeking stability and starting families. Social Community Within A Sixth Grade Classroom Introduction As an educator, I always believe that the classroom is the epitome of a social community in which culturally, ethnically, and racially diverse students function, learn, and succeed through collaborations with their classmates and me. In order for my pedagogical efforts to be effective, a learning community should be established, administered, and maintained because students will not learn or respond to my motivational attempts if they feel insecure, disconnected, or negative. The concept I am interested in is the establishment of an interactive and connective learning community within a sixth grade classroom. Because certain needs must be fulfilled before teaching and pedagogical strategies become effective, lower level needs should be satisfied before higher level needs can be functional and operative. Not only can the satisfaction and motivation of students be affected by the very nature of learning and the outcomes they expect to gain, but also by the learning environment they situate and their relationships with peers, and most specifically, their feelings and perceptions about me. Therefore, constructing an optimal social and learning community is absolutely indispensable to my class and the formation of emotional bonds between my students and me. • 26. Gene Expression in Eukaryotes Gene expression in eukaryotes can be broken down into three stages. These stages include Transcription, RNA processing, and Translation. These steps are similar to gene expression in prokaryotes but RNA processing is specific to gene expression in eukaryotes. Transcription Transcription happens in the cell nucleus. This is where DNA can be found. For example you can use DNA as instructions to make certain things such as proteins, but, these instructions are in a different language and you do not understand them, so the workers that will eventually assemble them cannot work with them. This is where mRNA will come into play. The mRNA will provide the workers or cells with new instructions that will be used to build the protiens. In transcription DNA is unzipped and the enzyme RNA polymerase RNA polymerase binds to the promoter region. This starts the unwinding of the DNA strands, and the polymerase starts RNA synthesis which runs along the template strand of the DNA. In eukaryotic cells proteins called transcription factors bind to promoters that include a TATA box, 25 nucleotides upstream from the start of transcription. After, more transcription factors will bind to the DNA, together with RNA polymerase II, forming the transcription initiation complex. The second step of transcription is the process of elongation. This is where the polymerase moves downstream while it unwinds the DNA and elongates the RNA from 5 to 3 . As the RNA synthesis continues downstream the new ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Rabbit Proof Fence Analysis The film, Rabbit Proof Fence, is directed by Phillip Noyce, and it is a film about three young Aboriginal half caste girls (Molly, Daisy, and Gracie) who were forcibly taken away from their families and taken to the camp at Moore River Native Settlement to be taught to become servants. A couple of days after arriving at Moore River Settlement, the girls run away from the camp and go through a terrible journey of one thousand five hundred miles trying to find their way back to their family. An Aboriginal tracker, Moodoo is called to find them. The girls cover their tracks and avoid Moodoo, getting help from village people. She pretty clever girl. She wants to go home. They experienced fears and doubts along the way to Australia to make it back to their family. Throughout the film, Noyce uses many effective film techniques to analyze the emotions and characteristics of important individuals to show specific scenes such as camera angles, lighting, filters, and dialogue. Camera angles are used in the film to expand the size and control of important characters. Phillip Noyce set angles of the camera onto the characters to appear stronger, and an example is when a low shot appeared of Mr. Neville at the beginning of the film, he is controlling the removal of the Aboriginal girls from Jigalong. As you know, every Aborigine born in this state comes under my control. Noyce has set Mr. Neville as the Chief Protector of Aborigines and the antagonist in the film. Since he has control, he is the leader, and needs to appear larger than everyone else. He became strict and fearful. Later in the film, when the girls run away from the settlement, the camera angles of him became higher. Noyce has purposely set angles to show Mr. Neville losing control of the girls; therefore, he is powerless and exposed. Another example is in the scene where they were being taken away, the camera shot was a close up to show the facial expression of the characters. The camera angle for this view is with an eye to eye level to explain reality. This helps the audience to better determine, by using camera angles, the importance of each character in the film. • 32. Theories Of Synergy Theory One of the theories used to explain why firms engage in M A is the synergy theory. Synergy theory or hypothesis asserts that the sum value of both individual firms before an M A is lower than that of the combined firm (Seth, 1990). This increase in value is due to the effect of the synergy potentials which could only be realized by combining operational and financial resources of both firms. These synergies present the extra value created by merger. Thus, creating value for shareholders that at least equates or exceeds the cost of the acquisition should be the primary objective of any M A. Essentially, synergies should be the sole principle in justifying companies to engage in M A. In theory, financial synergy of a merger is realized when ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... No private assumption on the value of a company is given. Oftentimes, this is not the case. The Harris poll published in 1984 suggest otherwise. According to the Harris poll, only 32 percent of the surveyed executives thought that the stock market correctly value their companies price, while 60 percent disagreed and felt that their companies are undervalued (Harris poll, 20 February 1984). This private assumption of fair price could easily find its way onto the M A negotiation table. Therefore, another theory the valuation theory is also used to analyze how M A could create value for the shareholders. The valuation theory states that the managers of the acquiring firm may possess more knowledge of the target firm than what actually is being valued through the price of stock in the market (Trautwein, 1990). The knowledge, termed asymmetric information by Ravenscraft and Scherer (1987), could include an undervaluation of the target firm, or an unbeknownst advantage in the event the two firms are combined. While the later statement is more or less in alignment with the synergy theory, the mentioned synergy here has not been fully evaluated by the market. The former suggests that a discrepancy between market value and private assumption on the price of a target due to undisclosed asymmetric information. Both can put the price of acquisition at market value but well below its true value. Valuation theory suggested that once the target firm become acquired part of the acquiring firm and the asymmetric information is fully disclosed, the shareholders would experience an immediate wealth effect due to revaluation of the market based on the newly available ... • 33. Honduras Problems Not too long ago, the United States witnessed the horror of seeing tens of thousands of unaccompanied children from Honduras making one of the most dangerous journey to make it to the U.S. southern border. It was an unexpected crisis for both countries which made Honduras a top priority for former president Barack Obama. Today Honduras is under the radar of the U. S s foreign policy; however, the country is still reeling from illicit drug trafficking, gang violence, and government corruption. The United States has a vested interest in Honduran stability. Our commitment to the Alliance for Prosperity in Central America is ensure the funds for the program are properly distributed to enhance security, reduce government corruption, and provide economic opportunity to combat poverty. Our national interest in the Central American hemisphere is to ensure Honduras is elevated from these problems. The demand in the United States for illegal drugs such as cocaine will continue to drive illicit drug traffickers and criminals in Honduras to control government and corrupt officials. These (bad hombres) are threatening judicial and democratic institution in Honduras and are the leading causes from children to escape gang violence to come to the ... • 34. Athletes Should Be Paid How sport is presented and supported today can mean total success or deep failure tomorrow. Every year the government of Canada provides money for athletics through three programs all of which add up to around $256 million, but that is only going towards the athletes, not even the facilities. The average cost to build a new professional facility is $6 billion, and to build a simple recreational center it costs $5.7 million. Contractors and businessmen set budgets before building anything new but the budgets always rise; regions get no economic boost from spending money on tickets and building projects and spectators are becoming uninterested in watching live games. The government should not use taxpayer dollars to support athletes and build ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There are many taxpayers willing to donate money to sports industry for support to athletes and everything else involved. Everybody else that does not enjoy or want things to do with sports should not be paying for the people that do. Many citizens, due to ticket prices, never get to use those facilities in the first place, so they shouldn t have to help pay to have them built. These leagues make millions, if not billions of dollars a year they should build the stadiums with their own funds found on Debate. A stadium will bring benefits to the city or town as a whole and employ more people. When a new stadium is built usually it means the old one was dated or the city wanted something new and shiny, when opening the same people are being hired to run the new one as the one prior to it so really new people are not being employed. Sports teams are making enough money to build their own stadiums if needed so cities do not really need to help them. Canada should not be using taxpayer dollars to run new facilities and support ...
