Class Struggle In The Communist Manifesto By Karl Marx
Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, the authors of the Communist Manifesto, sought to displace the
system of capitalism in favor of a socialist society. Marx believed that it was crucial to acknowledge
economic forces and the way in which wealth was distributed. He saw class conflict, the division of
society based on economic interests, as the foremost drawback in the capitalist ideology. Through the
ideas of socialism and social classlessness, Marx believed that lower class individuals would no longer
have to submit to the state s middle class. Marx and Engels viewed the class struggle as being
dominated by two groups; the bourgeoisie and proletariat. Marx believed the wealth of the
bourgeoisie, or the capitalist class, was developed primarily because of the proletariat, or the working
class. The bourgeoisie are landowners who control the means of production and the proletariat are
those who work for wages. Marx viewed the bourgeoisie as being completely dependent on the
proletariat, and as slaves of the bourgeoisie class, the labor of the proletariat was the ... Show more

The working class had little power over their working situations or the wealth created as a result of
their labor. In explaining how the relationship between the bourgeoisie and proletariat is exploited,
Marx and Engels point out the utilization of the proletariat by the bourgeoisie. The workers of the
proletariat are paid less than what their labor is worth, and the excess is retained by the capitalist
members of the bourgeoisie. While wages could have gone up if the working class was efficient and if
there are various periods of economic development, the competition between members of the
bourgeoisie compels employers to lessen the cost of labor as much as possible, especially during times

Large Aircraft Essays
The A 380 is becoming more popular as airlines look for ways to move the maximum amount of
passengers for the least money (Stafford, 2006). The A380 is made in passenger or freight versions.
The A380 800 is the largest passenger plane in the world. When passenger areas are divided into three
classes, the A380 can seat 550 passengers. When the entire plane is designated economy class, it can
seat 853 people. There is 50% more cabin floor space than the Boeing 747 because the A380s upper
deck goes the entire length of the fuselage ( Airbus a380 airfield, 2011). In 2010 there were already
over 30 in use and more are expected in the near future (Young Wells, 2011, p. 473). Due to the size
and weight of the aircraft, airports will have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to FAA Order 5300, airports may submit Modifications of Standard (MOS) requests for
review of non standard compliance items as long as safety is not compromised . Making modification
would be much less expensive and less time consuming for the airports that are able to do them. Some
design standards to allow for safe use of the A380 include blast pad dimensions to be 250 x 400 feet (
Airbus a380 airfield, 2011).
Many smaller airports will not be able to fit the larger airbus and the A380 will be limited to only the
large, hub airports better able to accommodate them. Smaller airports may have to be used as feeder
airports that will connect passengers to the large airports and the A380s. This could be a problem of
increased congestion with the existing slot system if more connecting flights are needed and there are
no more gates available or slot time (Ruehle, Goetsch, Koch, 2006).
At this time intercontinental routes use the hub and spoke system. This method allows airlines to
bundle an increased number of passengers on the flights. The draw back is that it also leads to a more
complex feeder flight schedule. Those airports with the facilities and room to support the airbuses
would then become hubs for those aircraft flights. To be profitable and fill enough seats, airports with
the most potential passengers would need to be paired for flights. Any delay or cancellation would
have a domino effect, costing more

C. S. Lewis Mere Christianity
I remember when the Christian faith finally began making sense to me. By the end of my reading of
the first book of C.S. Lewis book Mere Christianity, Right and Wrong as a Clue to the Meaning of the
Universe, I began to feel a spark of faith and hope. Lewis apologetic is geared primarily toward
nonbelievers, and discusses social law as evidence for God, as well as a short glimpse of the Christian
faith. Lewis uses the existence of what we a call a conscious, or the notion that there are things that
people should and should not do to point to the existence of a higher power. Lewis argues that
everyone has a inherent sense of right and wrong. This is observable through a man s feeling of how
people ought to behave. One should not confuse moral law with instinct, because if there are two
conflicting instincts within a person, Moral Law will point to the weaker of the two instincts. Impulses
in themselves, Lewis explains, are like keys on a piano. Neither key is good or bad on its own, but all
the right keys within the correct context. Moral Law tells use which keys to play. The Moral Law is
not something any person on earth or any society has created, but rather something man feels pressing
upon them. Some may argue that parents and the education system teach morality, however, these
factors vary ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I had no idea religion could be so logical. I feel like, if I had only gone to the church I was going to
back home, I would have had my Christian roots in sands of hyperspiritualism and what some call
moralistic therapeutic deism. Lewis introduced me to the logic of Christianity, so I could begin to
wrestle with it mentally as well as spiritually. He also showed me, through the first part of the book,
the dire need of humanity for a savior. Human law is a sore substitute for the divine moral law, and all
of our goodness is a mere shadow of how good we were meant to

Electronic Medical Record ( Emr )
HIS, also known as healthcare information system is a broad system used in healthcare settings.
Depending on the needs of the facility, determines the complexity of the system. This can range from
basic needs such as billing to the more complex which encompasses several systems that help manage
every service available to the patient. Learning to use and integrate this into the nursing field is crucial
to effectively care for and manage patients. In 2004, the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC)
was established. This merged healthcare and IT programing in the United States. In 2008, ONC
decided on terms used to identify patient s records. Within the clinical information system, there are
three different types of patient records being ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If a HIE is not present, the EMRs are not able to communicate with other facilities EMRs causing
duplicate information on patient that isn t always correct. A situation where this is common is when a
patient has surgery and then goes to another facility for complications due to the surgery, the patients
knowledge doesn t always coincide with the actual events that took place. While EHRs have several
benefits, they still come at a cost to the provider and the consumer. It wasn t until 2009 when the
Health Information Technology for Economics and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, signed the largest
US initiative to date. This enticed the widespread of use of EHRs as a part of the stimulus package(4).
Electronic health records have propelled IT into the next generation of healthcare. Not only is
everything at the providers fingertips, it allows autonomy for the patient. Our world is becoming very
digital, from purchasing concert tickets, to applying for college, this is done at the click of a fingertip.
Yet healthcare has aspects that are still stuck in the paper documentation era. From receive paper
prescriptions from their doctors to filling out patient history every time someone sees a different
physician, there is still work to be done to seamlessly transition to a digital platform. According to
Collum and Menachemi, EHRs are defined as a longitudinal electronic record of patient health
information generated by one or more encounters in

David And Goliath Compare And Contrast
In the poem Casey at Bat and story David and Goliath, a comparison of David and Casey shows
differences and similarities. In the story David and Goliath , David is similar to Casey from Casey at
the Bat because David isn t afraid to lose just like Casey. The text states that David was a sheep
tender, and Casey was a baseball player, their both different but they had one goal, to win! They both
were supposed to win anyway. Another way Casey from Casey at the Bat , and David from David and
Goliath are similar is because they are both boys. They are both boys because the text states that
David was a boy, because who would name their girl David, and Casey is a boy because girls do not
play baseball. This is a fact because people have been to baseball games and seen that they are boys,
girls play softball, boys play baseball. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The text states that Casey s goal was to hit the ball and not let his whole town down, and David s goal
was to kill the giant who was threatening his army and town because he said, ¨God will protect me.¨
This is because David and Goliath were very different people with two of the same goals, 1 to defeat
the other opponent, 2 was to make their kingdom happy. In addition, one of the differences between
David from and ¨David and Goliath¨ and Casey from Casey at the Bat¨ is that David is from the bible
and Casey is a baseball player. This is known because the poem we read in class about Casey is that he
is a baseball player because baseball is the only game that uses a bat. (and softball (female version of
baseball) is too.) Also, David is from the bible because people have read this story in the bible, so they
are both different characters. The second difference between Casey and David is that David is a young
boy, and Casey was a man when he was playing

The Case Of Riley Mahan Essay
Riley Mahan was reportedly born on 1/26/1997 in Ventura, California to the intact union of Kevin and
Kathleen Mahan. Mr. Mahan, the elder, worked as the director of theatre lighting at the Shakespeare
Theatre in Washington, D.C. before his death in January 2016. The defendant s mother, Mrs. Mahan,
also worked in the theatre business as a stage manager for several years. The defendant is the oldest of
two sons born to the Mahans. His brother, Bryce, is 14 years old and has been identified on the autism
spectrum according to Mrs. Mahan. His parents have been divorced for several years. The defendant
reportedly lived in California until he was two years old before relocating to the Northern Virginia
area. In March 2015, their family home was destroyed by a fire. Although no one was physically hurt
in the fire, as no one was home at the time, Mrs. Mahan believes the trauma from losing the home and
the death of his father contributed to her son s mental health symptoms. She described periods of the
defendant displaying appropriate, calm behavior that could vacillate in mood and behavior quickly
without a known trigger. She described her son as kind, smart, and helpful, but admitted that he has
met some traumatic disappointments in the last couple of years.
Mr. Mahan graduated from Woodson High School after first attending Robinson Secondary School
through 10th grade. He offered that he was classified as eligible for special educational services during
high school.

First, I Will Be Explaining My Management Style. Even After
First, I will be explaining my management style. Even after discussing management styles, I am still
not sure where I fall. I took several quizzes, but would get a different answer each time. Personally, I
believe I usually settle between the authoritative and pacesetting management styles. I have high
standards, but I am open to letting others find better way to complete a task. If they fail, I will take
over and do the task myself, or let someone I find more knowledgable do it. I usually work by
persuasion, and always provide feedback when I feel something could improve or if there is an easier
way to complete a task.
Second, I will be discussing interviews. Interviews are stressful, nerve wracking and brutal. Not

work more on an upper management level. I would love to work in executive management. Hopefully,
over the years I will develop the skills needed for that type of position.
Next, I will cover arts advocacy and the government. It was extremely exciting to be part of such a
powerful organization that advocates for the arts. New Jersey has one of the strongest arts advocacy
organizations out of all the states. ArtPride NJ is super involved with policy, education, and
leadership. It is especially important for them to exist in our current political climate. The National
Endowment for the Arts is in trouble right now of being completely depleted of all its funding and
power. In summary, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) was enacted by Lyndon B. Johnson
and congress as an independent federal agency. It supports and funds equal access to the arts in the
United States. The National Endowment for the Arts was created in 1965 as a way for The United
States to invest in culture.
It is important to me to be part of the discussion of public arts funding and advocacy. It is extremely
clear, that public support of the arts

Cuba s Relations with Latin America Essay
Cuba s Relations with Latin America
Introduction
The Cuban Revolution of 1959 not only affected Cuba itself, it also had a strong impact on the island s
international relations. This was particularly the case with its relationships with Latin America. In the
forty years since the revolution, the response to Cuba from Latin American nations has ranged from
the severing of diplomatic ties with the island, to the reestablishment of relations at a later period. Fear
of the spreading of similar insurrections, as well as feelings of Latin American solidarity, are examples
of factors that have contributed to these shifts.
Revolutionary Leaders Define Cuba s Place in the Americas
Even before the success of the revolution, Castro and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Cuban revolutionary leaders also considered relations between the island and its neighbors, because of
their close proximity and shared cultural and historical connections, to be of primary importance in
Cuba s international affairs. In its relations with the other American republics, Cuba s attitude is not
one of separation but rather friendship. This attitude will have priority over the rest of our
international relations (26th of July Movement 138 139).
Cuba and Latin America in the 1960 s
The decade following the revolution saw the deterioration of diplomatic ties between Cuba and many
Latin American counties. One of the main reasons for this was because after the success of the
revolution in Cuba, Castro and his supporters began calling for revolt throughout Latin America. In
various regions in the area, Castro mounted invasions, trained guerrillas, sent propaganda and money
to fidelista groups, and occasionally dispatched arms and even personnel to support guerrilla activities
(Wright 41). This caused many Latin American leaders to suspend their relations with Cuba for fear
that the spread of rebellion would lead to their deposition. According to Wright, Latin America was
especially vulnerable to upset by the impact of the Cuban Revolution since many of its countries
political institutions had shallow roots (42).
The instability that characterized much of Latin American politics in the 1960 s led to a number of
uprisings in various

the two founded the Music Business Journal to facilitate the sharing of information and knowledge

There is very little in the way of technical jargon, with the exception of musical/business terms such
as copyright, trademark, composition, royalties, and sequencing, to name a few. The writers expect the
readers to be at least somewhat knowledgeable with the recording industry s processes (signing,
recording, producing, promoting) to be able to follow the articles completely. In one of the article s I
read, Market Source 2004: The Major Music Marketplace by Matthew Brown, the reader is presented
with information regarding the five major record labels; BMG, Universal, Sony, Warner, and EMI.
These five labels control about 80% of the market share in the record industry (Brown). The article
discusses how the five groups were founded, and tells how these five major labels could quickly
become three or even two super companies through mergers and buyouts. In fact, in the fall of 2003
Sony announced its intentions to buyout BMG, while EMI announced it d do the same with Warner
(Brown). Fortunately for the music industry, neither deal happened because other private groups
bought the two major labels and continued their independent growth. Merger s within the music
industry are often very attractive because they solve a money crisis quickly and efficiently in the short
term, but over the long term they have a tendency to destroy market shares, and create a monopoly
from these oligarchy companies. If merger s among the

Benefits And Tools Of Government Encouraging Export
The benefits and tools of government encouraging export
Nowadays, since the reform of WTO (World Trade Organization), trade barriers declined gradually
over decades, in order to create more exchange between markets. Regulators from different
governments had substantially focused on the same target, especially after 2008 worldwide financial
crisis, to encourage more export from domestic producers.
To boost both value and quantity of exports, officials from different governments provide various
incentives to domestic producers. These incentives are designed to facilitate exporters over areas like
production efficiency, production cost, competitive advantage, brand loyalty and financial cost. One of
the most popular policies to exporters is government subsidies, illegal since 1995, which will normally
decrease the price of export goods and services. Local governments pay the subsidies and their
producers benefit from the subsidies by substantially outperforms international competitors, which do
not subsidized by their government, on price factor. As stated above, subsidy is illegal since 1995, in
the aim of creating more fair trade between markets. However, subsidy in agriculture sector is allowed
by WTO, with the purpose to support and protect employments. As shown in Table 9.2 , the table
indicates agricultural subsidies and producer subsidy Equivalent in Large Developed Nations and the
European Union, in 1998 and 2001. Overall this table presents key information about

Designing Goal Directed Design And Tactics For Assembling...
In this chapter, the authors share ideas with the reader about the practice, which goes along with three
other p s: principles, patterns, and processes, that consists in the method of Goal Directed design, of
Goal Directed design and how design teams integrate into the larger product team. The authors also
discuss strategies for working together, complementary approaches to product development, and
tactics for assembling teams across an organization. The authors state that some of the most interesting
and important design problems are too big to solve alone and too often, doing it alone also can be
rather lonely. The first thing covered in chapter 6 is the two types of teams: core teams, which are
small and focused, and extended teams, which are large and sometimes geographically distributed. I
learned that even in large scale product organizations that most of the work is done within the context
of core teams. It came as a shock to me that large scale organizations do not use extended teams, or
larger teams, since they have a lot to work on. I like that large organizations use small teams because
small teams continually prioritize and address items on their work list. The author also discusses how
cross functional teams get more done than divide and conquer teams because of the collaborative
effort they call thought partnership. Our team is actually more of a cross functional team than a divide
and conquer team. We all share the same goal but each of us come at the

Why would an investor be interested in convertible securities? (What do they offer to the investor?)
A convertible bond is a bond that can be converted into a pre determined number of shares of stock.
This would happen during the life of the bond. The number of shares it can be converted to is
determined by the issuer of the bond, the corporation. Convertible bonds are an attractive investment.
They offer the for potential market appreciation like an equity. They also offer the conservative nature

How does the concept of margin on a commodities contract differ from that of margin on a stock

Margin requirements on commodities contracts (2 10 percent) are much lower than those on stock
transactions, where 50 percent of the purchase price has been the requirement since 1974.
Furthermore, in the commodities market, the margin payment is merely considered to be a good faith

The Pros And Cons Of Political Parties
In a letter to Jonathan Jackson in October, 1789, John Adams wrote, There is nothing which I dread so
much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and
concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as
the greatest political evil under our Constitution , yet in modern day society, this is exactly the way the
government is set up. Political parties, or, similar politically minded people who work as a group to
influence public policy by getting candidates elected to office, are in control of the current
government. In the United states political parties compete each other to gain more political power and
for the ability to put their policies into effect. As a result of events in history leading up to today, there
are now two major political parties in the US. The United States is known to have a variety of political
parties within it, but the Republican and Democratic parties have shown through the strongest,
disagreeing with each other on most political and social issues, but being able to find some agreement
on others. There are minor parties, but none so far have been able to gain the support needed to win a
national election. Political parties had beginnings outside of the US, when they were first thought of in
Greece. During the late 1600 ancient Greeks had a senate with two groups that represented people
with different interests, called the Plebeians and the Patricians. The

Ramlakhan states, that people are becoming dopamine junkies which is like someone who is very

game called Pokemon Go. Although she used highly descriptive evidence, she poorly stated the proof
that she had for her claims. For example, she stated that people are only tired

The Effect Of Ph Levels On Daphnia
This experiment is being performed to show the effect of pH levels on daphnia by changing pH levels
and measuring the heart rate.
Introduction
Daphnia are used to test water toxicity, they are a vital part of fresh water ecosystems. They are a food
source for smaller fish and invertebrates and considered to be a consumer of algae and bacteria
(Elbert, 2005). These small crustaceans range in size from 2 5mm long and are commonly referred to
as water fleas. Daphnia belong to the group called Daphniidae, which is a relative of freshwater
shrimp. It is easy to see the internal organs of daphnia because of a transparent taco shell like
carapace. A carapace is the hard outer part of a shell or covering. A daphnia s life span can range
between 1 56 days. (Elenbaas, 2013; Clare 2002). The comfortable pH level for daphnia is between
7.2 and 8.5 (Clare, 2002).
In this experiment different pH levels ranging from 3 to 11 were used to test the effects on daphnia
heart rate. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14. A pH ranging from 0 to 6 is acidic, a pH of 7 is neutral,
and a pH higher than 7 ranging from 8 to 14 is basic. PH revolves around hydrogen ions (H+). The
reason pH levels can be acidic, basic, or neutral is because acids give hydrogen ions away while bases
accept hydrogen ions. (Decelles, 2002).
The intention of the experiment was to measure how different pH levels affect the heart rate of
daphnia. The objective of this experiment was to measure the heart rate of

Islamic Extremism And The Islamic World Essay
Many people think terrorism and islamic militancy is a product of long lasting religious traditions in
the islamic world. However, when delving deeper into the origins of this radical violence related to
islam, and the middle east, it becomes apparent it is connected to many different global and political
factors that have led to it s significance on the world stage. The question arises, why is Islam so
directly connected to violence? This can be due to the lack of knowledge, it is essential to recognize
the need for a more accurate understanding of Islam. In order to make sense of the jihad, for instance,
it is helpful to know more about Islamic understandings of God, revelation, and the religious and
social requirements for the faithful. Events which may have had individuals questioning acts of
terrorism are events such as, 9/11, the attacks in France and the drone strikes. Although many people
today believe that that religious fanaticism causes terrorism, it isn t true. It may be true that religious
fanaticism creates conditions that are favorable for terrorism. But we know that religious nationalism
does not cause terrorism because there are many religious fanatics who do not choose terrorism or any
form of violence. Moreover there must also be other conditions that in combination provoke some
people to see terrorism as an effective way of creating change in their world. Terrorism is a complex
phenomenon; it is a specific kind of political and global violence committed

Athenian Democracy In Athens
The Athens law that allows every single man of Athens to share and glorifies their superiority over
their peer poleis. In reality, the Democracy in Athens are made of Three Branches. The Assembly
(Ekklesia) states that all male citizens over 18 met ten times a year and can make executive decisions
like declaring war and create laws. The Assembly contradicts Pericles speech since it only allow white
males (not slaves) to create laws and make executive decisions.
The Council of 500 (Boule) contradicts Pericles by declaring that the executive committee for the
Assembly are served a one year, non renewable term and they administered the treasury and foreign
affairs. This may not be fair since the executive committee members are vetoed or chosen to stay
longer period of times because of their skill or good decision making, but rather more on males are
chosen and they serve one year max not depending on their performance . Pericles had stated that the
Athens democracy allowed the equal justice to all under the Athens law that allows every single man
of Athens to share and glorifies their superiority over their peer poleis. In addition, The Courts
(Dikasteria of Heliaia) allowed between 200 1,000 citizens who were randomly selected to represent
the voice of the people in trials no appeals! Served a one year, non renewable term. Pericles sees
Athens as best conducive to freedom, liberty, courage, honor, and justice the values most honored by
the Athenians. This is contradiction because The Courts doesn t appoint male citizens because of their
good sense and intellect, but rather because they are male and they couldn t be promoted any further
(just a year).
These above evidence proved that Pericles views democracy as the best form of government are not
reliable. He preached that he viewed Athens as superior to their fellow city states. In fact, Pericles sees
Athens as having the ultimate possible for freedom, liberty, courage, honor, and justice. In a statement
oozing with patriotism, Pericles proclaims: We cultivate refinement without extravagance and

How Does Carroll Think Of Something So Different Like The...
Alice is running forward, or so she thinks; however, Alice is doing the exact opposite of that. Alice has
a main objective in this novel; she must move eight squares in order to become a queen. In Lewis
Carroll s, Through the Looking Glass, Carroll adds a certain pizazz that most people wonder where it
comes from. How does he come up with certain characters? How does he think of something so
different like the Jabberwocky poem? Many things contribute to Carroll s writing: struggling with
sleep deprivation, dealing with dual personalities, having an education, growing up with several
siblings, and handling abnormal eating habits. Sleep deprivation has been known to cause
hallucinations and the inability to retain information. Carroll suffered from sleep deprivation and the
side effects of it. One can assume that he used the side effect, the inability to retain information, in
chapter three as Alice is traveling through the woods. What do you call yourself? the Fawn said at last.
Such a soft sweet voice it had! I wish I knew! Thought poor Alice. She answered, rather sadly,
Nothing, just now ( Carroll 43). The fawn and Alice are walking through the woods and Alice is
having a rather hard time remembering her name as they move along. The fact that she cannot

older than many of his siblings, Carroll began writing creative short fiction stories. Through the years
he continued writing, but it was now as a job. Carroll exhibits his creativity through the White knight s
inventions ( Carroll 110). The White Knight invents anklets to go around his horse s feet to protect
them from shark bites ( Carroll 110). Not many would think of something to go around ankles to

Carl Sanburg Grass Analysis
Most times, it s just a lot easier not to let the world know what s wrong. says Chuck Palahniuk, and
American Author. Covering things up is one thing that humanity has officially mastered. Humanity
constantly fights, kills, and commits horrid acts; sometimes even for no good reason at all. But who is
the one that will always be there to cover it up? Well, in Carl Sanburg s poem Grass , that who is the
grass itself. It becomes clear that no human can cover up his or her own mistakes, so the grass has to
be the one to do the dirty work. Carl Sanburg, in his poem Grass , uses proper nouns, syntax, and
imperative tense to prove that humanity will repeatedly try to destroy itself, and the grass will always
hold the power to cover it up. Bunker Hill, Yorktown, and Normandy are all great battles in American
history, and they are also distinguished choices for proper nouns when trying to prove the point of
human destruction. However, Sanburg didn t use these proper nouns. He wrote about Austerlitz ,
Waterloo , Gettysburg , Ypres , and Verdun . (1, 3, 4, 5) While Gettysburg was a pivotal point in
American history, it was not chosen in this text for the size of the battle, but rather for the number of
casualties and for the amount of blood spilled on the battlefield. In fact, all of these battles were
chosen for this same reason. But why would an author choose battles with more casualties over battles
that are better known for a massive victory, or even a massive loss? This

No Video Games in Education in Pamela Paul s Book Reading,...
Pamela Paul, author of Reading, Writing and Video Games , demonstrates that video games should not
be part of the education. Paul asserts there is no learning from playing video games and the education
should be the same old fashion. Paul observes the technology in classroom could be useful for the
students. However, she thinks the children should stick on reading and writing for learning. Finally,
Paul prefers to let the children play video games in free time rather than let them play video games for
education. Although, Paul idea of using technology in classroom and marketing education fun games
are true, the idea of letting the children play games that are not educational in their free time are
inaccurate.
First, One implication of Paul treatment of saying there is a place for technology in the classroom is
that a good idea. Paul is surely right about having technology in classroom help show the idea to the
students. Also, teacher used the projector to share notes and show videos to the students. However,
using tablets in the classroom can be easy to do quizzes and exams, and that give the teacher more
time to explain more information to the class. Also considering giving live lecture between two
schools in different country could help exchange more knowledge. Finally, schools should concerns
having more technology in classrooms to help the students learn more and fast for there own benefits.
Second, Paul assumes that many of the games marketed as educational aren t as

The Juvenile Justice Is A Legal System
Children are often is born innocent. It is the way they are natured that determines whether they will
remain law abiding citizens or not. Barton and Butts (2008) asserts that Children who are nurtured
under tender care and attention tend to grow into law abiding citizens. According to Scott and
Steinberg (2008) several factors including mental, moral, spiritual and physical factors can impact on
a child development. The ability of children to realize their full potential is determined by these
factors. Conversely, wrong company, negligence, lack of basic needs, harmful surroundings and other
abuses may negatively affect a child and turn him or her into a delinquent. The term juvenile who
originates from the word juvenis means young. A child or a Juvenile is considered a minor under the
law. This is a person who is below eighteen years of age. On the other hand, juvenile delinquency or
juvenile crime refers to the involvement of a minor or a person under age 18 in an illegal act. The
juvenile justice is a legal system whose task is to protect children. It deals with children s protection
and those in conflict with the Indian law (Scott Steinberg, 2008). The ever changing society modern
society, children tend to rediscover themselves before they attain the majority age. It has been argued
that the increasing exposure of children to the media including the internet, music, radio, video games,
and television impacts on their psychological development. This make children o

Explaining Fast Fashion
How fast fashion is affecting the environment is a very serious topic since this type of consumerism in
the United States is heavy on supply and demand, and because of that shoppers want it all and want it
now which is basically fast fashions motto. The way to make these pieces of clothing heavily rely on
cheap materials that can be made quickly, so that is polyester and cotton being made in big factories
that emit out toxins into our earth. Cotton being one of the most used fabrics takes a lot to be made
into a single garment. Uzbekistan which is the 6th biggest producer of cotton had faced many conflicts
during production since cotton uses so much water to be made it has dried up the 4th largest lake the
Aral Sea because of how much we need to produce cotton fashion. (Prospectjournalucsd) Buying
these cheap garments that become unwearable after 5 times (Forbes) of wearing it usually gets thrown
out after and producing more waste that gets put into our waterways since theses garments shed easy
and through washing them can find their way into oceans and on the shores everywhere. (Sweeny) So
with the help of shoppers, being able to cut down on the purchase of fast fashion can help aid in
keeping the ecosystem in order.
Benefits of Not Buying Fast Fashion
A benefit of not buying fast fashion would be becoming more aware of what how shoppers affect the
earth and taking that into

The Haudenosaunee had a complex political system. It had four levels, the first one being kinship and
residence. Basically the family, lineage and clan. The second was that of the town which was
governed independently. The third was a combination of towns that formed a Nation. The last one was
that all Nations joined the larger League. The League was divided into two halves, they followed the
Great Law of Peace constitution and consisted of 50 sachem (a named office) positions.
The primary social unit was the matrilineage. Power descended from the mother s side. Related
nuclear families lived together and led by the eldest female. Women owned land and controlled the
distribution of resources. They also had a class system and the upper class was made up of lineages,

Environmental Effects of War
ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES IN CONDUCT OF WAR
INTRODUCTION
War is never an isolated act.
War is a phenomenon of organized violent conflict, typified by extreme aggression, societal disruption
and adaptation, and high mortality. Usually a war is a pre planned activity to begin with by one group
or one nation and the group initiates the war by means of violence against the other. The primary
feature of this behaviour pattern is a certain state of organized conflict that is engaged in between two
or more separate social entities. Such a conflict is always an attempt at altering either the
psychological hierarchy or the material hierarchy of domination or equality between two or more
groups. In all cases, at least one participant (group) in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example after the war finishes , usually the losing nations pays compensations or money for
reparations to the victorious nations for the destruction caused. In many cases , land is ceded to
victorious nations. The victorious nations control the losing nation s economy according to its own
principles and theories and eventually end up in exploiting its natural and economic resources.
Typically speaking, war becomes very intertwined with the economy and many wars are partially or
entirely based on economic reasons such as the American Civil War. In some cases war has stimulated
a country s economy for example World War II is often credited with bringing America out of the
Great Depression but in many cases, such as the wars of Louis XIV, the Franco Prussian War, and
World War I, warfare serves only to damage the economy of the countries involved. For example,
Russia s involvement in World War I took such a toll on the Russian economy that it almost collapsed
and greatly contributed to the start of the Russian Revolution of 1917. War not only adversely affects
the life of the people but also other essential things required for their survival. War can affect the
environment that it takes place in. War destroys crops, forest, water systems, and other natural
resources. Wars can also cause pollution in the air, land, and the water.
It is very difficult to point out that these are the particular impacts of war as the impacts of war varies

  • 2. Class Struggle In The Communist Manifesto By Karl Marx Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, the authors of the Communist Manifesto, sought to displace the system of capitalism in favor of a socialist society. Marx believed that it was crucial to acknowledge economic forces and the way in which wealth was distributed. He saw class conflict, the division of society based on economic interests, as the foremost drawback in the capitalist ideology. Through the ideas of socialism and social classlessness, Marx believed that lower class individuals would no longer have to submit to the state s middle class. Marx and Engels viewed the class struggle as being dominated by two groups; the bourgeoisie and proletariat. Marx believed the wealth of the bourgeoisie, or the capitalist class, was developed primarily because of the proletariat, or the working class. The A380 is made in passenger or freight versions. The A380 800 is the largest passenger plane in the world. When passenger areas are divided into three classes, the A380 can seat 550 passengers. When the entire plane is designated economy class, it can seat 853 people. There is 50% more cabin floor space than the Boeing 747 because the A380s upper deck goes the entire length of the fuselage ( Airbus a380 airfield, 2011). According to FAA Order 5300, airports may submit Modifications of Standard (MOS) requests for review of non standard compliance items as long as safety is not compromised . Making modification would be much less expensive and less time consuming for the airports that are able to do them. Some design standards to allow for safe use of the A380 include blast pad dimensions to be 250 x 400 feet ( Airbus a380 airfield, 2011). Many smaller airports will not be able to fit the larger airbus and the A380 will be limited to only the large, hub airports better able to accommodate them. Smaller airports may have to be used as feeder airports that will connect passengers to the large airports and the A380s. This could be a problem of increased congestion with the existing slot system if more connecting flights are needed and there are no more gates available or slot time (Ruehle, Goetsch, Koch, 2006). At this time intercontinental routes use the hub and spoke system. This method allows airlines to bundle an increased number of passengers on the flights. The draw back is that it also leads to a more complex feeder flight schedule. Those airports with the facilities and room to support the airbuses would then become hubs for those aircraft flights. To be profitable and fill enough seats, airports with the most potential passengers would need to be paired for flights. Any delay or cancellation would have a domino effect, costing more ... Lewis book Mere Christianity, Right and Wrong as a Clue to the Meaning of the Universe, I began to feel a spark of faith and hope. Lewis apologetic is geared primarily toward nonbelievers, and discusses social law as evidence for God, as well as a short glimpse of the Christian faith. Lewis uses the existence of what we a call a conscious, or the notion that there are things that people should and should not do to point to the existence of a higher power. Lewis argues that everyone has a inherent sense of right and wrong. This is observable through a man s feeling of how people ought to behave. One should not confuse moral law with instinct, because if there are two conflicting instincts within a person, Moral Law will point to the weaker of the two instincts. Impulses in themselves, Lewis explains, are like keys on a piano. Neither key is good or bad on its own, but all the right keys within the correct context. Moral Law tells use which keys to play. The Moral Law is not something any person on earth or any society has created, but rather something man feels pressing upon them. Cuba s Relations with Latin America Essay Cuba s Relations with Latin America Introduction The Cuban Revolution of 1959 not only affected Cuba itself, it also had a strong impact on the island s international relations. In the forty years since the revolution, the response to Cuba from Latin American nations has ranged from the severing of diplomatic ties with the island, to the reestablishment of relations at a later period. Fear of the spreading of similar insurrections, as well as feelings of Latin American solidarity, are examples of factors that have contributed to these shifts. Cuba and Latin America in the 1960 s The decade following the revolution saw the deterioration of diplomatic ties between Cuba and many Latin American counties. One of the main reasons for this was because after the success of the revolution in Cuba, Castro and his supporters began calling for revolt throughout Latin America. In various regions in the area, Castro mounted invasions, trained guerrillas, sent propaganda and money to fidelista groups, and occasionally dispatched arms and even personnel to support guerrilla activities (Wright 41). This caused many Latin American leaders to suspend their relations with Cuba for fear that the spread of rebellion would lead to their deposition. Benefits And Tools Of Government Encouraging Export The benefits and tools of government encouraging export Nowadays, since the reform of WTO (World Trade Organization), trade barriers declined gradually over decades, in order to create more exchange between markets. Regulators from different governments had substantially focused on the same target, especially after 2008 worldwide financial crisis, to encourage more export from domestic producers. To boost both value and quantity of exports, officials from different governments provide various incentives to domestic producers. These incentives are designed to facilitate exporters over areas like production efficiency, production cost, competitive advantage, brand loyalty and financial cost. One of the most popular policies to exporters is government subsidies, illegal since 1995, which will normally decrease the price of export goods and services. The authors also discuss strategies for working together, complementary approaches to product development, and tactics for assembling teams across an organization. The authors state that some of the most interesting and important design problems are too big to solve alone and too often, doing it alone also can be rather lonely. The first thing covered in chapter 6 is the two types of teams: core teams, which are small and focused, and extended teams, which are large and sometimes geographically distributed. I learned that even in large scale product organizations that most of the work is done within the context of core teams. It came as a shock to me that large scale organizations do not use extended teams, or larger teams, since they have a lot to work on. I like that large organizations use small teams because small teams continually prioritize and address items on their work list. The Pros And Cons Of Political Parties In a letter to Jonathan Jackson in October, 1789, John Adams wrote, There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution , yet in modern day society, this is exactly the way the government is set up. Political parties, or, similar politically minded people who work as a group to influence public policy by getting candidates elected to office, are in control of the current government. Introduction Daphnia are used to test water toxicity, they are a vital part of fresh water ecosystems. They are a food source for smaller fish and invertebrates and considered to be a consumer of algae and bacteria (Elbert, 2005). These small crustaceans range in size from 2 5mm long and are commonly referred to as water fleas. Daphnia belong to the group called Daphniidae, which is a relative of freshwater shrimp. It is easy to see the internal organs of daphnia because of a transparent taco shell like carapace. A carapace is the hard outer part of a shell or covering. A daphnia s life span can range between 1 56 days. (Elenbaas, 2013; Clare 2002). The comfortable pH level for daphnia is between 7.2 and 8.5 (Clare, 2002). In this experiment different pH levels ranging from 3 to 11 were used to test the effects on daphnia heart rate. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14. A pH ranging from 0 to 6 is acidic, a pH of 7 is neutral, and a pH higher than 7 ranging from 8 to 14 is basic. PH revolves around hydrogen ions (H+). The reason pH levels can be acidic, basic, or neutral is because acids give hydrogen ions away while bases accept hydrogen ions. (Decelles, 2002). In reality, the Democracy in Athens are made of Three Branches. The Assembly (Ekklesia) states that all male citizens over 18 met ten times a year and can make executive decisions like declaring war and create laws. The Assembly contradicts Pericles speech since it only allow white males (not slaves) to create laws and make executive decisions. The Council of 500 (Boule) contradicts Pericles by declaring that the executive committee for the Assembly are served a one year, non renewable term and they administered the treasury and foreign affairs. This may not be fair since the executive committee members are vetoed or chosen to stay longer period of times because of their skill or good decision making, but rather more on males are chosen and they serve one year max not depending on their performance . Pericles had stated that the Athens democracy allowed the equal justice to all under the Athens law that allows every single man of Athens to share and glorifies their superiority over their peer poleis. In addition, The Courts (Dikasteria of Heliaia) allowed between 200 1,000 citizens who were randomly selected to represent the voice of the people in trials no appeals! Served a one year, non renewable term. Pericles sees Athens as best conducive to freedom, liberty, courage, honor, and justice the values most honored by the Athenians. This is contradiction because The Courts doesn t appoint male citizens because of their good sense and intellect, but rather because they are male and they couldn t be promoted any further (just a year). These above evidence proved that Pericles views democracy as the best form of government are not reliable. He preached that he viewed Athens as superior to their fellow city states. In fact, Pericles sees Athens as having the ultimate possible for freedom, liberty, courage, honor, and justice. Covering things up is one thing that humanity has officially mastered. Humanity constantly fights, kills, and commits horrid acts; sometimes even for no good reason at all. But who is the one that will always be there to cover it up? Well, in Carl Sanburg s poem Grass , that who is the grass itself. It becomes clear that no human can cover up his or her own mistakes, so the grass has to be the one to do the dirty work. Carl Sanburg, in his poem Grass , uses proper nouns, syntax, and imperative tense to prove that humanity will repeatedly try to destroy itself, and the grass will always hold the power to cover it up. Bunker Hill, Yorktown, and Normandy are all great battles in American history, and they are also distinguished choices for proper nouns when trying to prove the point of human destruction. However, Sanburg didn t use these proper nouns. He wrote about Austerlitz , Waterloo , Gettysburg , Ypres , and Verdun . (1, 3, 4, 5) While Gettysburg was a pivotal point in American history, it was not chosen in this text for the size of the battle, but rather for the number of casualties and for the amount of blood spilled on the battlefield.
