Plagiarism In Policing
plagiarism checkerFirstly, that police corruption is not an individual abnormality of an incidental
nature that can be prevented with harsh measures or by imposing a strict code of conduct or ethics (
Johnson, T. A., COX, III, R. W). The new realism on this issue states that corruption and misconduct
within policing are evolving and constant problems. Secondly, there is consent on the effective
measures on how to undertake the problems and to promote integrity amongst police officials. The
factors to a effective solution are strong leadership, a multi faceted organisational strategy, a well
resourced internal affairs unit, proactive techniques of investigation, and persistent efforts to promote
professional standards. The essence is a judicious and sophisticated balance between negative and
positive social control. Policing is about the rule of law and due process: corruption and other forms of

In a democratic country law enforcement officers are expected to undertake their duties with dignity
and respect thus following both the rule of law and its procedure. Law enforcement officials whose
duty is to enforce the law should abide by the law and should be accountable for both their decisions
and consequences of it. But the main issue is quis custodiet ipsos custodes who controls the
controllers? This critical issue is of importance because the history of policing is littered with scandals
in which police officers broke the law and also in which the police organisation failed to detect the
deviance (or colluded in it; or tried to deflect investigations by defensive opposition). I will be
examining in this article police corruption and its prevention and I shall focus on three main aspects:
definitions of corruption; the forms it takes in different societies; ways of preventing

Taking a Look at Electric Vehicles
Introduction: Although electric vehicles save money they do not go the long distances a gas vehicle
can go. They are also cheaper than gas vehicles and better for the environment!
Body paragraphs: Charging stations can be installed in a location where there is a regular 120V outlet
or a 240V outlet. The average electric vehicle charger is designed to be powered by a dedicated 240V
outlet for just charging that vehicle. The charger that can plug into either a 120V or 240v is called the
Turbocord, it is small and compact. This is the type of charger a person that travels a lot and knows
they would not be able to access a 240V outlet. This charger is designed to work with either 120V or
240V, every place that has electricity has an 120V outlet. EV states TurboCord is the next generation
of plug in EV chargers. It s ultra compact size provides you the flexibility and freedom to take it
anywhere. Just plug it directly into an outlet and charge at home, work or play. The Dual version
works with both a 120 volt standard outlet and a 240 volt outlet for charging nearly 3 times faster than
your Level 1 cordset. Now with these electric vehicles and how the technology is improving every day
the charging time is getting cut down, some vehicles take up to 23 hours to fully charge. EV chargers
can cut that time down to 6.3 hours which is a huge drop. EV s newest charger, the Turbocord is
opening opportunities for the owners of these electric vehicles. This new style of a charger

Spanish Empire Research Paper
Overall Introduction The Spanish Empire began with the union of Aragon and Castile to create the
unified territory of Spain. The exile of the moors created an attitude towards religious dominion. This
need to go out and convert other people led to the Age of Exploration in which Spain discovered many
new lands and converted millions of natives. This period also created the most prosperous economy
for Spain but would later be detrimental to the empire. New findings of gold and silver flooded the
economy which caused economic problems to coincide with other major factors that caused the
empire to fall. The Spanish Empire has been one of the largest empires in history and influenced many
parts of the world.

In 1518 Velazques tried to stop Cortes from going to Mexico but he went anyway. Cortes had many
desires but he left Spain to seek his fortune in New World (Hernán Cortés). Cortes took with him 500
men and 11 ships to the Mexican coastline. With the help of a native translator, Dona Marina, Cortes
was able to speak to the natives. Cortes did not treat the natives kindly, in fact he fought and killed
Montezuma who was the Aztec ruler. Once Cortes had heard the Spanish were coming to arrest him
for taking the ships he fled. The Spanish soldiers find Cortes and instead of arresting him, Cortes tells
them to join him in the fight. The soldiers ended up supporting Cortes and in 1521 and the Spanish
take the city of Tenochtitlan. It is clear to see how religion motivated the Spaniards because after the
conquest of Mexico, a church was founded on the site of this temple The image below shows the

Henry Viii as a King, Evaluation
How far did Henry VIII achieve his aims as king between 1509 1514?
To an extent Henry VIII achieved his aims as King between 1509 1515. Whilst he achieved aims such
as to have glory in battle such as with France to earn prestige and therefore establish greater power
within the European countries, he did fail in some aspects with most set aim as king. An example of
this is his inability to produce a male heir to the throne which arguably was one of his prime aims as
king. One of Henry s main aims as king was to be a different leader in terms of his style from that of
his father; he wanted to be a more warlike leader who was more dominant across Europe and also to
be a generally more popular king. We know that this would have been ... Show more content on

As well as this he achieved his aim in cementing a good relationship with the Nobles by using their
armies. However in 1514 he was almost forced to sign a peace treaty because financially England was
desperate for money as henry in only one year had spent all his inherited money (estimated at about
£960000). This shows his somewhat lack of organisation as a king and more his ruthlessness and
desperation for war. Another factor detracting from the prestige of this war is that Henry was used by
Ferdinand and left by him at the last stage before the battle, so showing dishonour by Ferdinand
towards him. In aims such as securing the Tudor dynasty Henry didn t really succeed. Although he did
make attempts such as marrying Catherine of Aragon in order for her to give Birth to a male Heir it
didn t work. Unfortunately as king this was one of his most important aims, we know this because he
married Catherine the same year he was king and so it was obviously of key importance to produce an
heir. This having failed, as it did, Henry did still try and secure the dynasty, by taking actions such as
marrying his sister to the French King, Louis, he

Chinese State Owned Enterprises
Introduction Since the Chinese Economic reform in 1978, Chinese economy transferred from planned
economy to market economy. Under the new circumstances of socialist market economy with Chinese
characteristics, a large number of workers faced unemployment with the economic reforms. In the
1990s, the reforms of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) enhanced the job losses and changes, causing a
new noun xiagang , the laid off workers unemployed with remained work relationships from SOEs. In
comparison with the situations before 1980s, the workers benefits and social positions have
dramatically changed. The workers no longer hold the so called Iron Rice Bowl that guaranteed all the
welfares and permanent employment. On xiagang status, workers are helpless, depressed and confused
about the future. Laid off workers in China has become an issue of great significance related to
workforce allocation, people s wellbeing and economic development.
In this essay, we will discover the reasons for the appearance of laid off workers in China from current
literature via historical and economic aspects and also the influences of reforms of SOEs on the
hardship of the laid off workers. In addition, the re employment policies will be covered.
Appearance of laid off workers
A massive number of workers in Chinese SOEs and their families have faced negative shocks in
employment, their relation with employers and the state since 1980s. Resulted problems on the low

The Holocaust Of The Nazi Concentration And Death Camps
Holocaust survivors give great insight to the realities of what the life was like within the gates of the
Nazi concentration and death camps. Not to say that the research of historians, writers, and professors
does not provide pivotal information to the study of the Holocaust; but their research provides
secondary sources and accounts. Primary sources for historic moments allows a reader to get into the
mind and psyche of the writer who is sharing his or hers experiences. The ability to become one with
their most inner thoughts of fear, sadness, despair, happiness, joy, etc. makes a reader feel as if they
are going through these moments alongside them. For survivors of the Holocaust, concentration
camps, death camps, and World War II; such a connection is created with their listeners, viewers and
readers by way of these primary sources. With father time working against them, the chances to speak
with or listen to these individuals in person are quickly and sadly coming to an end. Which leaves
society to use the literature of these surviving people to truly understand what life was like for them
during the reign of terror caused by Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime. Primo Levi s, Survival in
Auschwitz, offers just that connected and emotion to current and future generated as he illustrates
what life was like for Jewish people during the Holocaust and World War II while surviving in
concentration camps. Primo is a survivor of one of the most infamous Nazi concentration camps

Informative Speech On Pumpkin Baking
Baking is an art that may seem simple, but is actually fairly complex. I m not talking about buying a
box of Betty Crocker cake mix, adding some eggs, water, and vegetable oil, and sticking it in the
oven. I m talking about real, from scratch, tastes like your grandmother made it baking. Baking is a
very precise form of cooking. It is important to measure every ingredient carefully and pay close
attention to the steps in the recipe. That being said, baking does not have to be boring. Once you grasp
the basics of baking, you will be able to make any recipe your own. It actually becomes a quite
addicting hobby. It may be messier and more difficult than just buying that cake mix from the store,
but it is also ten times the fun and tastes way better! Today I am going to teach you how to make
pumpkin bread. Pumpkin bread is a great addition to any autumnal meal and even makes for a tasty

This recipe calls for the following ingredients: all purpose flour, white cane sugar, baking soda, salt,
baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, eggs, canola oil, water, and pureed pumpkin. After you have
gathered your ingredients, you will want to find a large mixing bowl. The bowl may seem too large
with just the dry ingredients in it, but this bowl will eventually hold the finished batter, so make sure it
is large enough! To this bowl you will add one and two thirds cup of all purpose flour. Flour is the
ingredient that gives your baked goods their nice, fluffy texture. Since this recipe calls for all purpose
flour and not self rising flour, you will also need to add half a teaspoon of baking powder and three
fourths a teaspoon of salt. After this, you will add the remaining dry ingredients: one and a half cups
of sugar, one teaspoon of baking soda, and one teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. If you desire, you may
also add more spices to taste. Whisk the dry ingredients together until just

Transformation in North America
A transformation is taking place in cities throughout North America, which are doing away with their
heteronormative practices of designing cities, and creating more gay spaces. This trend is largely
driven by a changing cultural perspective among the various cultural groups, as well as the general
trend towards acceptance for those who are gay. These gay spaces are usually confined to areas of the
community where there is typically a high concentration of gay people. The locations that contain
these queer spaces, are areas of reprieve for the gay community, and they should be accepted in
communities that have an identifiable neighbourhood consisting largely of gay people. In her
statement Today in most overtly gay spaces there is little to no visible gender queerness or any
indication that such variance is tolerated, Petra Doan is saying that while there are gay spaces that are
created for the queer community, these areas often do not contain a high number of gay people, and
they are in fact mostly inhabited by heterosexuals. The gendering of these spaces is meant to increase
the general acceptance of gay people and to provide a haven for them, but Doan believes these spaces
are still largely dominated by heterosexuals. The treatment of the urbex (or urban environment) in
what makes up the cities, it is important to consider that the geography has mirrored many of the
troubling characteristics of the urban exploration. People are curious about how the majority of

Quality And Capacity Of Software Testing
5.0 Introduction
Testing is the process to execute the program and find the bugs and fix on the spot. It evaluates the
quality of the software, and done during the development and after the implementation process.
Software testing is the process of executing the program with intend to find the errors.
It is a verification and validation process.
Verification is the process which make sure the product to satisfy the specific requirements at the start
of the project.
Validation it is the process to make sure the product which satisfies the specific requirements at the
end of the development phase.
5.1 Software Testing Basics
In the start of testing process the basic and primary thing is requirements of development cycle, this
phase the testing will be easier for testing.
The quality and capacity of software can be examining by executing the code and check the code at
different conditions such as software testing by subjecting it to different sources as input and
evaluating the results with respect to the inputs.
There are two basics types of software testing.
Black box testing
White box testing
These two basic types of testing are explained at lower part of this chapter.
5.1.1 Functional and Non Functional Testing
Functional testing defines the specific function of a particular code in the program. The functional
testing gives us the information about the performance and security of a program.
Non functional testing defines the capabilities of a specific software, and it

Increasing Integrity and EU Citizen s Trust in Public...
REGIONAL POLICY PAPER #1 INCREASING INTEGRITY AND EU CITIZENS TRUST IN
PUBLIC PROCUREMENT OVERVIEW Public procurement systems across the European Union
(EU) need to be robust, transparent and open to public monitoring. Only then can governments,
bidders and contractors be held to account for how public money is spent, and corruption can be
prevented. Corruption siphons off public funds, obstructs the functioning of the single market, and
distorts fair competition. For these reasons, it is vital for the EU to ensure public procurements are
sound, transparent and accountable. Public procurement at the EU level is currently being reviewed;
the inclusion of strong anti corruption provisions is a way of increasing efficiency and creating the ...

Problems appear to be most acute in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Italy, Romania and Slovakia. 8 The
current revision of the EU legislation on public procurement 9 presents an opportunity for European
leaders to address these breakdowns and close the following integrity gaps. WEAK LEGISLATIVE
FRAMEWORKS Legislative loopholes as in the case of Romania allow for the bypassing of
procurement rules and raise the risk of corruption. For example, the Romanian government has the
right to invoke a state of emergency, which allows it to negotiate contracts with only one single
company. Allegations in other countries have also been raised about preference being given to a single
vendor by micro tailoring the tender criteria to match only that company s profile. 10 Similar
problems of legal gaps exist in the Czech Republic that has permitted corruption to arise in public
procurement. According to a survey of small and medium sized Czech companies, three out of five
managers believe that it is impossible to win public contracts without resorting to bribery, a kickback
or some other incentive . 11 The procurement loopholes that exist in Europe vary and lead to low
levels of transparency and accountability, including limited access to information and public
participation in the processes. Final public procurement contracts are not published in a number of
European countries,

The Benefits Of Vegetarianism
Vegetarianism is a controversial topic that involves the consumption of meat. Should one become a
vegetarian? If consuming meat involves the production of factory farming and health risks the
consuming meat is not good. If consuming meat is not good, one should become a vegetarian.
Therefore one should become a vegetarian. A suitable beginning would be to define a factory farm.
A factory farm is a large, industrial operation. It raises large numbers of animals for food. About nine
billion animals live in factory farms to live a miserable existence. Newborns torn from their mom days
after being born. Sometimes even hours. They are then transported and kept in small cages. Or their is
life in cramped and overcrowded pens. Males in egg farms are not valuable. Tens of thousands of
them are into the trash because their meat is unsuitable. They are also ground alive into feed for other
animals. Male calves of dairy cows eat liquid and iron deficient diets. They are in crates for their lives
that keep them as immobile as possible. This is to keep their muscles weak and tender. Most of these
animals at these farms are indoors. Few are able to live happy lives. Because of this they are unable to
fulfill their instinctual urges. They become psychotic, neurotic and have repetitive behaviors. Many
become cannibalistic. The animals are also give a consistent regimen of antibiotics and growth
hormones. To keep disease and death away. Factory farming and non intensive family farms animals
could have surgical modifications such as beak, toe, tail removal, ear tagging and clipping, teeth
removal, branding, dehorning, castration and ovary removal (QUOTE). Due to the high cost of
anesthesia this is all performed without it. During transportation to the slaughterhouse many animals
die. Due to starvation or freezing to death. The animals who are unable to walk are downers (QUOTE)
and die in the yard. Animals with fur die in the wild. Or they live in small cages and fed each other s
remains. They are then killed by anal electrocution so their pelts are not marred. Factory farming is
immoral and has turned many people to vegetarianism.
Another reason would be this argument. Let s say someone sees a small turtle come out of the

Analysis Of The Book The Twilight Series
A young psychic teen hiding from the CIA embarks on a quest to find a hidden treasure that is linked
to an old murder, but corrupt police, the CIA, greedy relatives, a crazy homeless man, and the girl he
falls smitten with hinder his efforts.
STORY COMMENTS
CODE NAME TRACKER: INDIGO is a highly creative and imaginative novel that is targeted for the
young adult audience. Like the TWILIGHT series one can easily envision the success of such a series
of books and a possible film franchise.
The novel has a strong hook with the idea of the protagonist having psychic skills. The script
combines a supernatural tale with drama and dark comedy. The storyline offers intrigue, action,
forbidden love, betrayal, corruption, and the supernatural. The story also offers solid twists and turns.
The main storyline centers on the psychic teen searching for missing treasure. It s a smart story choice,
as everyone loves the idea of finding buried treasure. This gives the novel a strong, actionable goal
with merit, and it keeps the story goal focused.
The subplot of the budding teen romance supports the main storyline and is fluidly integrated.
One of the major strength of this novel is the compelling ensemble cast. Each character feels original
and refreshing. They are complex and rich in personality. There s no doubt that these characters would
attract talent if produced into a film.
The novel clearly identifies Ryan Gordon as the mystifying, insecure hero. Ryan is easy to like and

During this period as a conservative, I tried to trade less risky instruments. The qualities that I used to

my choice was only guided by their high P/E ratio. In order to protect my portfolio against the changes
in prices, I took a couple options. At first, I try to use some put option on Apple and Google to protect
my portfolio against their change in prices. But as I was new in the use of options, it had a worst effect
on my portfolio. Thus, I sold them and I decided to use a call and put parity on Google, Apple and
IBM. And it helps reduce the negative return I had after the stock slump to 1.49%. During the
simulation, I also bought a bond but I sold it when the interest rate fell. I also bought some futures on
gold because the price of gold is increasing actually. Using all these pseudo strategies help me to
maintain my portfolio value higher than $982,678 with a slight to increase until the stock slump in
April. In fact, the fall of the stock had a great impact on my portfolio and in order to protect myself
against this impact I tried to use different option strategies and sold some of my stocks in order to go
above $982,678 at least. This reaction of my portfolio shows how the systematic risk can affect a
portfolio rudely and how it is difficult to protect a portfolio against these types of risks. In summary,
this simulation allowed me to know about the importance of portfolio allocation. It also helped me to
understand the use of the P/E ratio in market selection. And it showed me when and how to use option
and future in a portfolio.

Lucy The Jehovah s Witness Analysis
Lucy the Jehovah s Witness was part of my mental list of people that should have been bullied. To
clarify, and to make a point not to sound overly discriminative, she was number one on the list, a
numbskull at the highest degree. How she reached a popular status I will never know. Lucy acted out
her lines, branding the antagonist a delinquent that could be redeemed; Oliver, adjacent, harbouring
smugness. If only I could tear out her tongue and ram it down his throat. All I saw was her mouth
closing and opening like a suffocating fish devouring air. Words gradually losing sound as my
adrenaline overtook jagged nerves. Everyone relished this ludicrous freak show. It was if the joke

Then, nearing to the end in our little interpretation, I had to apologise to the bullied. Oliver, still

Definition Essay On Trust
Trust has multiple definitions, but when I think about trust, always coming through, and being
trustworthy are the first ideas that come to mind. Most importantly, Trust can be defined as someone
you can tell anything to. You can have trust with your family, friends and relatives. People may see
trust differently based on past experiences or events. For example, someone who has trustworthy
friends who tends to keep secret information secret, might view trust positively. But, someone who
has friends that can t keep secrets, and tells everything they hear might view trust in a negative way.
Therefore, I believe that trust had many different view and definitions which are a lot different than
what I would ever have expect creating a never ending ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are many different form of trust that can expand our expectations and deepen our views. The
trust you have with your parents may be very similar for the trust you have with your siblings. As a
young child you mainly only trust your parents, who provides you with food, shelter, clothing and
extra wants. As a child you are helpless, leaving your trust in your parents, to provide you with basic
needs to be healthy, is what I believe the child s first trust instinct is. Next, as you get older and begin
play with your siblings, you start to rely on them to keep you safe. You trust that they will keep you
out of the street, when you are playing in the front yard or not let you get lost in the grocery store
while your parents are shopping. You trust your siblings just as much as your parents to provide you
with safety, fun and needs. Then, you experience trust with your friends. This can be shown by relying
on each other, keeping each other safe and believing that they will be there for you when you need it
most. As you grow older, trust grows to new expectations forcing you to constantly learn. The
different types of trust we experiences teaches us different life lessons that stays with us forever.
Throughout our lives, everyone wants to be trusted and experience trust with someone

Divine Law In Protestant Countries
The divine law was an idea, which is believed since the middle Ages in Europe.
Kings claimed that they had been chosen by God and were his representatives on earth pore so only
had to look up to God for their actions. This was called the divine right of kings.
Therefore, the kings had absolute power and exercised as wanted.
The same right became that anyone who wanted to depose a king or limit his powers went against the
will of God, which meant sacrilege
In Protestant countries, the idea of the divine right of kings started very strong but tends to disappear
even faster than in Catholic countries where it had never been fully adopted to start.
In Protestant countries it was very difficult to question the authority of the pope but quickly

Essay on Honor in Richard II
The Importance of Honor in Richard II
The tension charged exchange between Bolingbroke and Mowbray in the first scenes of Richard II
provides exciting action for the audience, and gives a glimpse into trial by combat and the importance
of honor in Shakespeare s plays. Trial by combat, or a judicial duel was a traditional way to settle
disputes in England and Europe for many generations. People dueled to defend their own honor, and
to prove personal claims against the honor of others. Honor. Honor is the accumulation of virtuous
deeds that instills a respect in others and in you. Possessing, seeking, and defending the elusive trait of

Elizabethan audience, birthright would still initially guarantee honor, and respect for a noble, honor
that could be lost if it was not maintained or if the gentleman s good name became dirtied. Mowbray

Elizabethan England, was something to fight over.
In Richard II, Mowbray and Bolingbroke are set to have a judicial duel to the death. The duel is
judicial because the winner, the survivor, is credited with being true and virtuous. The loser, in death,
forfeits claims to honor and innocence. They have told Richard their charges against their rivals, and
are prepared to defend their honor, and innocence through personal combat. Their honor, their
accumulation of virtuous deeds, has been soiled by the accusations brought against them. Slanderous
comments and claims were not to go unheeded; in fact, Mowbray and Bolingbroke refuse to throw
their gages up to King Richard and settle their quarrel peacefully. Mowbray pleads with Richard to be
allowed to prove his innocence and defend his honor:

Take honor from me, and my life is done;

The, And, By Stephen Krasner And John Ruggie s...
Many of the authors of the readings for this week seem to be writing past each other. While all of
these readings come from a 10 year time span and discuss multilateralism and/or sovereignty, there are
stark distinctions in who or what is being discussed as the referent object of international relations or
world order. This begs the question, can we read, for instance, Stephen Krasner and Robert Cox in
dialogue with each other or are they writing on the same general topic, but from such distinct
frameworks that the discussion ultimately collapses? Even if the discussion does collapse, is there
something worthwhile in attempting to engage these authors? This paper attempts to place the authors
from this weeks readings in conversation. In doing so, it becomes clear that Krasner and John Ruggie
s conceptions of international relations are shortsighted and problematic. However, Craig Murphy, Sol
Picciotto, Cox, and Claire Cutler all have beneficial insights into global governance. In particular, Cox
s contention that multilateralism has been effective in institutionalizing a liberal economic order that
should not be understood as synonymous with international cooperation aids us in our consideration of
world order. Krasner defines the sovereign state model as a system of political authority based on
territory, mutual recognition, autonomy, and control (2001, 18). Krasner uses this definition, not to
promote the sovereign state model as the global modus operandi (or so

Spring by Gerard Manley Hopkins
With every end, there is a beginning. When the cold winter ends, there is a new beginning in nature
where the trees and flowers start fresh as they grow once again. The poem Spring , takes us, readers,
to a setting where the place shows complete nature. We are to imagine aesthetic scenery where spring
has arrived and everything that happens during this season is happening right in front of us. The
speaker seems to appreciate nature so much that he sees the complete difference between the seasons
and that he admires the birth of the natural world. He explains his feelings in almost all aspects as he
describes the rinsing in his ears in one line which may mean that, his mind, soul, and body is refreshed
with what the natural sound that he hears during this season. As for him, he conceptualizes the natural
world as a pure creation of God and that it helps in spiritual awakening. Here is the interpretation and
analysis of the poem based on the sections that respect the grammar and meaning of its sentences:
Nothing is so beautiful as Spring When weeds, in wheels, shoot long and lovely and lush;
In the first line, the speaker says that there is no other thing that is as similar to the beauty of Spring.
With the dash after the word spring, it means that the speaker is trying to let the readers believe the
first statement that nothing is so beautiful as Spring. The weeds in wheels in the second line may
mean, that, weeds have grown in wheels or maybe the way the weeds

Teen Dating Violence
What is Teen Dating Violence?
Teen Dating Violence (TDV) is described as the physical, emotional, or sexual abuse that occurs
within a relationship while dating. TDV can occur in person, or electronically by a current or former
partner (CDC, 2014). Many adolescents and adults are unaware of the prevalence of TDV but a recent
national study revealed that nearly 10% of adolescents have reported being hit, slapped, or
intentionally physically hurt by someone they had claimed to be dating (CDC, 2014). About 20% of
adult women who reported experiencing some form of intimate partner violence (IPV) also reported
experiencing TDV between the ages of 11 17 (CDC, 2014). Also, black students experience TDV

Some of the economic effects associated with IPV are as follows: employers lose between $3 5 billion
dollars per year for increased medical costs of battered victims and businesses lose an additional $100
million dollars in lost wages, sick days, and absenteeism. Also, nearly 2 million workdays are lost to
domestic violence annually and overall domestic violence costs the United States $67 billion dollars,
annually (NCADV, n.d.). IPV causes a huge lapse in profitability and productivity.
Using Public Service Announcements to Address other Public Health Issues Among Adolescents
Public service announcements have long been a tool of public health professionals and organizations
to prevent public health crises through awareness and instruction. For this intervention, public service
announcements via television and radio stations will be implemented to bring about prevention of teen
dating violence. Anti tobacco campaigns have utilized public service announcements to campaign the
detrimental effects of tobacco consumption as well as raise awareness regarding cessation resources.
In 2000, California held a media campaign that accounted for a 2 3% reduction in the sales of cigarette
packs. Despite the seemingly low effect of media campaigning, it has been proven that each dollar
invested in the anti tobacco advertising results into a per capita decrease of 7.7 packs of cigarettes

First Nation people and Inuit people are more at risk to receive HIV. In a trend over the past few years,
it has been seen that natives are being infected at a significantly younger age than non aboriginal
people. This could be because the aboriginal people are treated differently in Canada so that they don t
receive the same health coverage that the rest of the Canadians do. It is unfortunate that the highest
cause of HIV transition between aboriginal people is injection drugs. The Canadian government
should be enforcing the same drug laws that we have in other parts of Canada on the reserves. It is
known that Aboriginal people have adjusted some of the laws on their reserves to accompany their
customs and culture. Yet, the HIV count is rising in the aboriginal people, and if not properly taken
care of, people may be more prone to different diseases. Also, some health care benefits that we
receive are not translated to the aboriginal population. In the aboriginal regions, people live in a large
home and hold many relatives and a few different families. With more young people, there will
eventually be inadequate room for living. The government should use this opportunity to build houses

Movements Throughout History Led by Farmers and the...
The populist movement occurred in the late 19th century, formed from the Grangers movement where
its goal was ta movement for people, to change the economic system where it would benefit farmers.
The grange movement rapidly declined in the 1870s and was replaced by the farmer alliances. The
farmer alliances were more political rather then social. The farmer s alliance later formed the populist.
The populist movement is considered to be an agrarian revolt by farmers and those concerned with
agriculture, because in the gilded age many people were moving to rural areas where banks and
industrial systems were superior over agriculture. The high tariffs, decentralization of currency, and

The motion picture was unfolded in the 1890s from the union of still photography, which records

major film traditions have advanced since then: fictional narrative film, which reveals stories about

Determinism And Free Will
Determinists believe that everything that occurs in the world follows both from the laws of nature and
also the prior state of the universe. As a result, they further believe that our actions are predetermined.
Many philosophers believe this it offers a simple justification as to why people commit such actions
and, even more broad, why history precedes in the way that it does.
As an incompatibilist, I believe that determinism rules out the possibility of human freedom.
Determinism relies on a cause and effect relationship between the current state and the past. it uses
empirical notions that past action, or experience, combines with natural law to basically set out our
actions. I cannot see how a philosophy that suggests this cause and effect ... Show more content on

Peter van Inwagen, a proponent of libertarianism, argues in his piece Freedom of the Will that freedom

so that we as a society are able to hold people accountable for their actions. Yet, as a hard determinist,
I would say that yes we do exist in a cause and effect world in which actions are predetermined; yet,
we are the means of those actions. van Inwagen also rejects determinism because he believes in the
possibility of one having multiple futures which determinism does not allow for. Most importantly, he
rejects determinism s central idea, the causality relationship, in favor of a world in which humans can
choose their own paths. This idea of choice is not sound as actions that one has no control over before
birth indirectly influence their decision making, rationalizing, and so forth. For instance, people born
into households with lower incomes tend to go to lower performing schools. These lower performing
schools impact their ideas about society, their role in society, and in a broader view, the world. The
choices they make were already decided before they were even born from the socioeconomic

stimuli could be the death of a family member/friend, the loss of a relationship, the loss of a substance
that one might be addicted to, (coffee, drugs, videogames etc.) the loss of previously owned money, or
even the loss of a cell phone. The removal of positively valued stimuli could include anything that was
valued and then is taken away by some force (Bernard, Snipes, and Gerould, 2010, p. 164 165). In the
case of the Walmart shooting, one can speculate that anything could have been taken from Willis,
whether it was his job, friends, family member, or maybe even his phone. This could have caused
some type of strain in Willis s life, whether it is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Considering that Willis was stationed at the air base in Grand Folks since 2013, one could speculate
that Willis was missing his family. Willis saw his family two weeks before his crime. The family of
the airman explained how happy Willis was when visiting his family. The family also explained that
they did not see anything wrong with his mental state and was in disbelief that Willis had committed
such a terrible crime (NBC News 2015). Dude to these facts, one could imagine that Willis could have
missed his family a great deal. Willis could have been so homesick that he would rather die than live
away from his family. The final part of the general strain theory is the presentation of negative stimuli.
The presentation of negative stimuli causes strain and negative feelings to be experienced. Negative
stimuli could be considered anything from the realization of

Comparing Walt Whitman s Politics And The English Language
Language is all around us, it is how we communicate with one another, it brings meaning to literature,
and is cemented into our culture. Walt Whitman, a famous American novelist from the 19 century,
highlights the effects of language on the American population in his essay, Slang in America. He
focuses on positive aspect of slang, how we adapt slang into the english language, as if it is second
nature to use, giving a deeper meaning to everyday phrases and words. By contrast, Politics and the
English Language, by George Orwell, does not highlight the positive side to slang, instead looking at
how authors have started to write with no purpose, no meaning in their texts. George Orwell, in
Politics and the English Language, creates an connotation between ideas and an appeal to logos to
convince the reader that writers have started to write meaningless pieces of work and could have
potentially negative effects on the American people. Compared to Walt Whitman s use of an unifying
tone and an appeal to pathos in Slang in America, that highlights the positive effects of the English
language on the American people. Orwell creates a connotation between the negative aspects of slang
to better illustrate his perspective on slang. By concluding that pretentious diction, meaningless words,
and dying metaphors has a similar outcome in writing and made these types of slang have negative
connotations in writing. Orwell does this by looking at the state of the English Language and points

The Tell Tale Heart Essay
The Tell Tale Heart
The Tell Tale Heart is a story about a man who killed an old man just because he didn t like the way
his eyes looked like. The main character speaks about madness as being a gift and not a kid of
disability for example in paragraph one on page 93 he says: but why would you say that I am mad?
The disease had sharpened my senses not destroyed not dulled them . The mad man killed the old man
and then cut him up and put him under the floorboards of the house.
The fruit at the bottom of the bowl is a story about a man (William Acton) who killed his neighbour
(Huxley) because he thought that Huxley was having an affair with his wife. Acton strangles Huxley
and then he ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I think Acton maybe feels a little bit guilty and is very paranoid about the whole murder unlike in The
Tell Tale Heart where the murder is very confident about what he had done and planned the whole
murder whereas Acton didn t really plan to kill Huxley, but Acton in his mind thought that Huxley
knew all along that he was going to get murdered. Acton thought that Huxley planned to get murdered
and so told Acton to touch a lot of stuff in the house for example on page 83 Huxley said: There s a
bottle of burgundy, Acton. Mind fetching it from that cabinet?
Yes, fetch it. Handle it. Touch it. He did.
Than Acton thought that Huxley was basically setting him up. Once Acton strangled Huxley he had
started to clean the house of fingerprints. That was all fine and well but Acton didn t clean only the
door knobs, glasses, cup and things like that which he touched he cleaned the whole house the walls,
the couch absolutely everything which was a sign of big paranoia from Acton.
The character in The Tell Tale Heart had a lot of conversations throughout the story but all the
conversations were to himself. The things that the character talked about were very strange. He talked
about how every night at midnight for the last week he came to check on

Gourd-Shaped Wine Ewer With Inlaid Grapevine
The gourd shaped wine ewer with inlaid grapevine is a ceramic piece that is currently on display at the
Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts. This piece is from the Goryeo dynasty of 13th century
Korea. It is made from stoneware that was coated with a celadon glaze. A piece like this would have
typically had a lid, but like most similar pieces it was lost over time. The methods of making such
pieces has changed and shifted over the years. Korean pottery has it s own presence as well as having
taken inspiration from other cultures and locations. The use of Ceramics in Korea started around 7000
BC during the Old Josean Dynasty. From then on it became a very important part of their culture and
heritage. Many of their ceramic traditions ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The ceramic artists will have what is called a Kosa Ceremony where they will offer food and wine to
the kilns which they believe give the fire more spirit which creates better fired pieces. The most
typical kiln used in Korea is called a climbing kiln. A long trench is dug up the side of an area of
sloping land, a tunnel of brick and clay is built over the trench. There were many openings along the
tunnel for pine wood to be inserted to fuel the kiln. At the top of the kiln there was an opening that
was used to release the smoke. The firing process took about a week or more to slowly get the
temperature to reach 1150 to 1300 degrees; the temperature needed to produce stoneware. After the
firing was finished the artists would have to wait a few days to for the fired pieces to cool down
enough to retrieve

Code Of The Street Essay
An effort to understand and explain violence and related problems in the inner city are demonstrated
within Elijah Anderson s Code of the Street. Elijah exhibits the different lifestyles of the citizens in
Germantown, Philadelphia by thoroughly explaining the code through different themes that make up
the inner city lifestyle such as, family, violence, drugs, relationships or poverty through his point of
view and people within the city as well. Within the inner city, neighborhoods and streets holds a code,
which are the set of informal rules governing the interpersonal public behavior among the inner city
neighborhoods. The code holds many different aspects that are simply known by the people all over.

Explained is the decent daddy, who seems to take the lead within the family and works hard to support
the family. He will protect his daughters at all costs and raise his sons to be like him. The dad
emboldens other young people to exhibit these qualities to have a content family lifestyle. Although
there are factors that weaken the role of the dad from outside forces. They receive challenges from the
youth over how to confront prejudice and discrimination. There s also the point of rejection of the
white society by African Americans who are decent and follow the rules. No matter how well a decent
family is doing, they still tend to be rejected by other societies just because of who they are. Another
positive role model in the inner city is the grandmother. Their role is important in reality and in
folklore roles. Grandmothers take responsibility for children who were abandoned by their parents.
These parents are so influenced by the neighborhood forces that they don t even have the capacity to
take care of their own child and feel that it isn t important. Sometimes grandmas will rear children
herself, taking those in who needs it. The grandmother also mainly asserts her moral authority for the
good of the family. History itself is passed along when it comes to the grandmother, as they carry

hours, and can also be bought in shop with gems. Types of chests include: Wooden chests (only during

battles), giant chests, magical chests, and super magical chests. Generally, the value of the chests rank

For this to function smoothly on mobile requires some huge infrastructure. I haven t seen a hiccup yet
in my battles against real players. It has a slight loading time at the beginning or end of a match.
You have a slate of characters that you can drop onto the field, and they start moving slowly toward
the enemy s defenses, which consist of two forts and a main castle. It has two lanes for combat, in
contrast to five for typical MOBA games. The options for playable cards show up in the bottom of the
screen. You get a choice of four. A mana meter runs along the bottom. If you have enough mana to
play a card, it shows up in colors. If you don t have enough, a timer that runs in real time shows you
when it will be ready. When you are ready to play a card, you just press down on it and move it to the
right part of the screen where you want it to appear. That s all you are required to do. That makes the
gameplay repetitive and simple. You just have to think fast.
Clash Royale has just a few dozen cards at the moment, but most of them are easily recognizable as
characters from Clash of Clans. If you drop down a giant, it will lumber toward the enemy s fort at a
slow pace. Once it gets there, it can do a lot of pounding. Your fort can fire back, but you have to drop

Dental Implant Equation
Comprehensive treatment of patients with missing teeth and/or hypodontia is difficult. It requires a
teamwork included an orthodontist, a prosthodontist, and a surgeon( in case of implant insertions) to
achieve ideal results. Dental implants may be considered the best treatment option for patients with
hypodontia. Using dental implants in patients with hypodontia may be challenging due to some
limitations such as reduced mesiodistal space, impairing the ideal positioning of implants. Too often,
surgeons attempting to place standard diameter implants have forced the restorative team to manage
these small dimensions with a lack of adequate prosthetics because of the size and diameter of the
fixture(nazarian) All these setuation requiring the use of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Generally, when adjacent teeth have been moved in order to accomplish adequate space for placing an
implant, the roots of these teeth may have tipped into closer proximity. In this condition there may be
inadequate space to place the implant between the apices and Thereby the use of resin bonded
restoration will be recommend. Tooth reduction is conservative (remaining in enamel) for RBFPD
preparation. This is one of numerous advantages of this restoration, however, The most common
technical reason for resin bonded restoration failure is debonding.5 Although it has been reported that
debonding does not appear to affect patient satisfaction19,38 and there is usually limited damage to
abutment teeth.(9) Recent systematic reviews have estimated the five year survival rates for
bridgework as 87.7% for resin bonded prostheses and just over 90% for conventional bridges
depending on design. Although these rates are lower than the 94.5% success6 reported for implant
retained single crowns over the same five year follow up, resin bonded bridgework has the advantages
of being less invasive, requiring a shorter total treatment

Ecological Systems Theory By Urie Bronfenbrenner
Ecological Systems Theory The Ecological Systems Theory was founded by Urie Bronfenbrenner.
This theory focuses on the impact of the environment on a child s overall development. The
identifying characteristics of Bronfenbrenner s theory are the five systems used to organize external
influences within a child s development. These systems are the microsystem, mesosystem, exosystem,
macrosystem, and chronosystem. Each system is aligned with specific interaction levels. The
microsystem is considered to be the most intimate of the levels, in which development is dependent on
the immediate environment. The immediate environment would include adults, peers, and siblings
with influence to learning new behaviors and the environment in which the ... Show more content on

The Ecological Systems Theory applies to different aspects of the lifespan due to the ability to apply
the five systems continuously throughout the life span. The chronosystem can transition and change
within one s life. The macrosytem can align with infancy, this system setting examines the culture of
the individual. The exosystem can align with childhood into adolescent stages due to this systems
connection with forming healthy attachments. The mesosystem aligns with relationships throughout
life and peer interaction, this can take place in adolescence and continue throughout adulthood and
change based on experiences, in which the individuals Microsystem evolves (Wong, Hall, Justice
Hernandez, 2015, p. 32 33). There can be cultural, ethical, and legal concerns associated with this
theory are somewhat intertwined. The possible assumption that if a child is born poor, of ethnic
minority, raised in a violent setting, and neglected by parents foster care placement may lead to
disruption within the child s chronosystem. This can lead to attachment issues related to trauma,
increased fight or flight reactions that may lead to legal issues, academic challenges, and poor social
skills. There is a possible ripple effect from life events and socioeconomic status that could lead to
changes with behavior in association with the child s environment. Understanding this theory can help
with application in a school setting

  • 2. Plagiarism In Policing plagiarism checkerFirstly, that police corruption is not an individual abnormality of an incidental nature that can be prevented with harsh measures or by imposing a strict code of conduct or ethics ( Johnson, T. A., COX, III, R. W). The new realism on this issue states that corruption and misconduct within policing are evolving and constant problems. Secondly, there is consent on the effective measures on how to undertake the problems and to promote integrity amongst police officials. The factors to a effective solution are strong leadership, a multi faceted organisational strategy, a well resourced internal affairs unit, proactive techniques of investigation, and persistent efforts to promote professional standards. The essence is a judicious and sophisticated balance between negative and positive social control. In a democratic country law enforcement officers are expected to undertake their duties with dignity and respect thus following both the rule of law and its procedure. Law enforcement officials whose duty is to enforce the law should abide by the law and should be accountable for both their decisions and consequences of it. But the main issue is quis custodiet ipsos custodes who controls the controllers? This critical issue is of importance because the history of policing is littered with scandals in which police officers broke the law and also in which the police organisation failed to detect the deviance (or colluded in it; or tried to deflect investigations by defensive opposition). They are also cheaper than gas vehicles and better for the environment! Body paragraphs: Charging stations can be installed in a location where there is a regular 120V outlet or a 240V outlet. The average electric vehicle charger is designed to be powered by a dedicated 240V outlet for just charging that vehicle. The charger that can plug into either a 120V or 240v is called the Turbocord, it is small and compact. This is the type of charger a person that travels a lot and knows they would not be able to access a 240V outlet. This charger is designed to work with either 120V or 240V, every place that has electricity has an 120V outlet. EV states TurboCord is the next generation of plug in EV chargers. It s ultra compact size provides you the flexibility and freedom to take it anywhere. Just plug it directly into an outlet and charge at home, work or play. The Dual version works with both a 120 volt standard outlet and a 240 volt outlet for charging nearly 3 times faster than your Level 1 cordset. Now with these electric vehicles and how the technology is improving every day the charging time is getting cut down, some vehicles take up to 23 hours to fully charge. EV chargers can cut that time down to 6.3 hours which is a huge drop. EV s newest charger, the Turbocord is opening opportunities for the owners of these electric vehicles. The exile of the moors created an attitude towards religious dominion. This need to go out and convert other people led to the Age of Exploration in which Spain discovered many new lands and converted millions of natives. This period also created the most prosperous economy for Spain but would later be detrimental to the empire. New findings of gold and silver flooded the economy which caused economic problems to coincide with other major factors that caused the empire to fall. Whilst he achieved aims such as to have glory in battle such as with France to earn prestige and therefore establish greater power within the European countries, he did fail in some aspects with most set aim as king. An example of this is his inability to produce a male heir to the throne which arguably was one of his prime aims as king. However in 1514 he was almost forced to sign a peace treaty because financially England was desperate for money as henry in only one year had spent all his inherited money (estimated at about £960000). This shows his somewhat lack of organisation as a king and more his ruthlessness and desperation for war. Another factor detracting from the prestige of this war is that Henry was used by Ferdinand and left by him at the last stage before the battle, so showing dishonour by Ferdinand towards him. In aims such as securing the Tudor dynasty Henry didn t really succeed. Although he did make attempts such as marrying Catherine of Aragon in order for her to give Birth to a male Heir it didn t work. Unfortunately as king this was one of his most important aims, we know this because he married Catherine the same year he was king and so it was obviously of key importance to produce an heir. • 10. Transformation in North America A transformation is taking place in cities throughout North America, which are doing away with their heteronormative practices of designing cities, and creating more gay spaces. This trend is largely driven by a changing cultural perspective among the various cultural groups, as well as the general trend towards acceptance for those who are gay. These gay spaces are usually confined to areas of the community where there is typically a high concentration of gay people. The locations that contain these queer spaces, are areas of reprieve for the gay community, and they should be accepted in communities that have an identifiable neighbourhood consisting largely of gay people. In her statement Today in most overtly gay spaces there is little to no visible gender queerness or any indication that such variance is tolerated, Petra Doan is saying that while there are gay spaces that are created for the queer community, these areas often do not contain a high number of gay people, and they are in fact mostly inhabited by heterosexuals. The gendering of these spaces is meant to increase the general acceptance of gay people and to provide a haven for them, but Doan believes these spaces are still largely dominated by heterosexuals. REGIONAL POLICY PAPER #1 INCREASING INTEGRITY AND EU CITIZENS TRUST IN PUBLIC PROCUREMENT OVERVIEW Public procurement systems across the European Union (EU) need to be robust, transparent and open to public monitoring. Only then can governments, bidders and contractors be held to account for how public money is spent, and corruption can be prevented. Corruption siphons off public funds, obstructs the functioning of the single market, and distorts fair competition. For these reasons, it is vital for the EU to ensure public procurements are sound, transparent and accountable. For example, the Romanian government has the right to invoke a state of emergency, which allows it to negotiate contracts with only one single company. If consuming meat involves the production of factory farming and health risks the consuming meat is not good. If consuming meat is not good, one should become a vegetarian. Therefore one should become a vegetarian. A suitable beginning would be to define a factory farm. A factory farm is a large, industrial operation. It raises large numbers of animals for food. About nine billion animals live in factory farms to live a miserable existence. Newborns torn from their mom days after being born. Sometimes even hours. They are then transported and kept in small cages. Or their is life in cramped and overcrowded pens. Males in egg farms are not valuable. Tens of thousands of them are into the trash because their meat is unsuitable. They are also ground alive into feed for other animals. Male calves of dairy cows eat liquid and iron deficient diets. They are in crates for their lives that keep them as immobile as possible. This is to keep their muscles weak and tender. Most of these animals at these farms are indoors. Few are able to live happy lives. Because of this they are unable to fulfill their instinctual urges. They become psychotic, neurotic and have repetitive behaviors. Many become cannibalistic. The animals are also give a consistent regimen of antibiotics and growth hormones. To keep disease and death away. Factory farming and non intensive family farms animals could have surgical modifications such as beak, toe, tail removal, ear tagging and clipping, teeth removal, branding, dehorning, castration and ovary removal (QUOTE). Due to the high cost of anesthesia this is all performed without it. During transportation to the slaughterhouse many animals die. Due to starvation or freezing to death. The animals who are unable to walk are downers (QUOTE) and die in the yard. Animals with fur die in the wild. Or they live in small cages and fed each other s remains. They are then killed by anal electrocution so their pelts are not marred. Factory farming is immoral and has turned many people to vegetarianism. Another reason would be this argument. STORY COMMENTS CODE NAME TRACKER: INDIGO is a highly creative and imaginative novel that is targeted for the young adult audience. Like the TWILIGHT series one can easily envision the success of such a series of books and a possible film franchise. The novel has a strong hook with the idea of the protagonist having psychic skills. The script combines a supernatural tale with drama and dark comedy. The storyline offers intrigue, action, forbidden love, betrayal, corruption, and the supernatural. The story also offers solid twists and turns. The main storyline centers on the psychic teen searching for missing treasure. It s a smart story choice, as everyone loves the idea of finding buried treasure. This gives the novel a strong, actionable goal with merit, and it keeps the story goal focused. The subplot of the budding teen romance supports the main storyline and is fluidly integrated. One of the major strength of this novel is the compelling ensemble cast. Each character feels original and refreshing. They are complex and rich in personality. There s no doubt that these characters would attract talent if produced into a film. The novel clearly identifies Ryan Gordon as the mystifying, insecure hero. Ryan is easy to like and ... Essay on Honor in Richard II The Importance of Honor in Richard II The tension charged exchange between Bolingbroke and Mowbray in the first scenes of Richard II provides exciting action for the audience, and gives a glimpse into trial by combat and the importance of honor in Shakespeare s plays. To the Elizabethan audience, birthright would still initially guarantee honor, and respect for a noble, honor that could be lost if it was not maintained or if the gentleman s good name became dirtied. Mowbray despairs over his lost honor, I am disgraced, impeached, and baffled here,/Pierced to the soul with slander s venomed spear (Richard II 1.1.170 171). Honor, being an extremely important commodity in Elizabethan England, was something to fight over. In Richard II, Mowbray and Bolingbroke are set to have a judicial duel to the death. The duel is judicial because the winner, the survivor, is credited with being true and virtuous. The loser, in death, forfeits claims to honor and innocence. They have told Richard their charges against their rivals, and are prepared to defend their honor, and innocence through personal combat. Their honor, their accumulation of virtuous deeds, has been soiled by the accusations brought against them. Slanderous comments and claims were not to go unheeded; in fact, Mowbray and Bolingbroke refuse to throw their gages up to King Richard and settle their quarrel peacefully. • 30. The, And, By Stephen Krasner And John Ruggie s... Many of the authors of the readings for this week seem to be writing past each other. While all of these readings come from a 10 year time span and discuss multilateralism and/or sovereignty, there are stark distinctions in who or what is being discussed as the referent object of international relations or world order. This begs the question, can we read, for instance, Stephen Krasner and Robert Cox in dialogue with each other or are they writing on the same general topic, but from such distinct frameworks that the discussion ultimately collapses? Even if the discussion does collapse, is there something worthwhile in attempting to engage these authors? This paper attempts to place the authors from this weeks readings in conversation. In doing so, it becomes clear that Krasner and John Ruggie s conceptions of international relations are shortsighted and problematic. However, Craig Murphy, Sol Picciotto, Cox, and Claire Cutler all have beneficial insights into global governance. In particular, Cox s contention that multilateralism has been effective in institutionalizing a liberal economic order that should not be understood as synonymous with international cooperation aids us in our consideration of world order. Krasner defines the sovereign state model as a system of political authority based on territory, mutual recognition, autonomy, and control (2001, 18). When the cold winter ends, there is a new beginning in nature where the trees and flowers start fresh as they grow once again. The poem Spring , takes us, readers, to a setting where the place shows complete nature. We are to imagine aesthetic scenery where spring has arrived and everything that happens during this season is happening right in front of us. The speaker seems to appreciate nature so much that he sees the complete difference between the seasons and that he admires the birth of the natural world. He explains his feelings in almost all aspects as he describes the rinsing in his ears in one line which may mean that, his mind, soul, and body is refreshed with what the natural sound that he hears during this season. As for him, he conceptualizes the natural world as a pure creation of God and that it helps in spiritual awakening. Here is the interpretation and analysis of the poem based on the sections that respect the grammar and meaning of its sentences: Nothing is so beautiful as Spring When weeds, in wheels, shoot long and lovely and lush; In the first line, the speaker says that there is no other thing that is as similar to the beauty of Spring. Walt Whitman, a famous American novelist from the 19 century, highlights the effects of language on the American population in his essay, Slang in America. He focuses on positive aspect of slang, how we adapt slang into the english language, as if it is second nature to use, giving a deeper meaning to everyday phrases and words. It has a slight loading time at the beginning or end of a match. You have a slate of characters that you can drop onto the field, and they start moving slowly toward the enemy s defenses, which consist of two forts and a main castle. It has two lanes for combat, in contrast to five for typical MOBA games. The options for playable cards show up in the bottom of the screen. You get a choice of four. A mana meter runs along the bottom. If you have enough mana to play a card, it shows up in colors. If you don t have enough, a timer that runs in real time shows you when it will be ready. When you are ready to play a card, you just press down on it and move it to the right part of the screen where you want it to appear. That s all you are required to do. That makes the gameplay repetitive and simple. You just have to think fast. Clash Royale has just a few dozen cards at the moment, but most of them are easily recognizable as characters from Clash of Clans. If you drop down a giant, it will lumber toward the enemy s fort at a slow pace. Once it gets there, it can do a lot of pounding. Your fort can fire back, but you have to drop some kind of ... Generally, when adjacent teeth have been moved in order to accomplish adequate space for placing an implant, the roots of these teeth may have tipped into closer proximity. In this condition there may be inadequate space to place the implant between the apices and Thereby the use of resin bonded restoration will be recommend. Tooth reduction is conservative (remaining in enamel) for RBFPD preparation. This is one of numerous advantages of this restoration, however, The most common technical reason for resin bonded restoration failure is debonding.5 Although it has been reported that debonding does not appear to affect patient satisfaction19,38 and there is usually limited damage to abutment teeth.(9) Recent systematic reviews have estimated the five year survival rates for bridgework as 87.7% for resin bonded prostheses and just over 90% for conventional bridges depending on design. Although these rates are lower than the 94.5% success6 reported for implant retained single crowns over the same five year follow up, resin bonded bridgework has the advantages of being less invasive, requiring a shorter total treatment ... • 49. Ecological Systems Theory By Urie Bronfenbrenner Ecological Systems Theory The Ecological Systems Theory was founded by Urie Bronfenbrenner. This theory focuses on the impact of the environment on a child s overall development. The identifying characteristics of Bronfenbrenner s theory are the five systems used to organize external influences within a child s development. These systems are the microsystem, mesosystem, exosystem, macrosystem, and chronosystem. Each system is aligned with specific interaction levels. The microsystem is considered to be the most intimate of the levels, in which development is dependent on the immediate environment. The immediate environment would include adults, peers, and siblings with influence to learning new behaviors and the environment in which the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Ecological Systems Theory applies to different aspects of the lifespan due to the ability to apply the five systems continuously throughout the life span. The chronosystem can transition and change within one s life. The macrosytem can align with infancy, this system setting examines the culture of the individual. The exosystem can align with childhood into adolescent stages due to this systems connection with forming healthy attachments. The mesosystem aligns with relationships throughout life and peer interaction, this can take place in adolescence and continue throughout adulthood and change based on experiences, in which the individuals Microsystem evolves (Wong, Hall, Justice Hernandez, 2015, p. 32 33). There can be cultural, ethical, and legal concerns associated with this theory are somewhat intertwined. The possible assumption that if a child is born poor, of ethnic minority, raised in a violent setting, and neglected by parents foster care placement may lead to disruption within the child s chronosystem. This can lead to attachment issues related to trauma, increased fight or flight reactions that may lead to legal issues, academic challenges, and poor social skills. There is a possible ripple effect from life events and socioeconomic status that could lead to changes with behavior in association with the child s environment.
