Napoleon s Reign Over Italy
Italy, as it is known today, has been in existence for less than one hundred fifty years. For several
centuries, Italy had been made up of separate states often ruled by foreign powers. In 1796, Napoleon
Bonaparte invaded and conquered the Italian peninsula. After falling under French rule, the peninsula
was divided into three parts: several northern states, which were annexed to France, the Kingdom of
Italy, of which Napoleon declared himself king in 1805, and the Kingdom of Naples in the south.
Napoleon and the French brought new ideas about society and governing with them. They also
brought the concepts of freedom and nationalism with them, which might have sparked Italy s later
attempts to achieve unity. Napoleon s reign over Italy crumbled with his defeat in 1814. Shortly after,
parts of Italy were distributed amongst other European countries, particularly Austria, and returned to
former rulers by the Congress of Vienna in 1815. Many people were unhappy with the actions of the
Congress and secret societies started to grow to oppose these rulers and promote the idea of a united
Italy. One of the secret societies set up in opposition to foreign rulers was called the Carbonari. This
nationalistic, revolutionary group started in Naples and spread northward. In 1820 they carried out a
successful revolution in Naples which forced King Ferdinand I to set up a new constitution and
parliament, but it was soon squashed by the Austrians. All their future uprisings failed, and in

Granny Pods Research Paper
Granny Pods in Your Backyard as a Solution To Nursing Homes Research shows that, in developed
countries, the number of older people are growing much faster than any other age group. By the year
2050 the number of people older than 60 will exceed the number of those younger than 15. Hawing
this in mind, it is clear that nursing homes are going to be crowded and much more expensive in the
future. So, instead of being thrown into one, propose to your children or grandchildren a different
solution a Granny pod . What s a granny pod ? Granny pods are pre made, or pre fabricated cottages
that can be installed in the backyard of any home. They are, usually one bedroom or two bedroom
apartments, with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. You can ... Show more content on

Benefits First and the most important benefit of having a granny pod instead of going into a nursing
home is that you are close to your love ones, literally in their backyard. As you ve seen earlier in the
article, granny pods are much cheaper than nursing homes, so there s benefit number two. Some
would say that residents in the nursing homes will have a full and constant attention and that the
hygiene is better there than in the backyard cottage. Well, hygiene has to be at the highest level
whether you are at the nursing home or in granny pod. Having in mind the granny pods aren t huge
structures with hundreds of rooms, keeping them clean isn t going to be much of a struggle. I don t
think that you will need more than two hours a week to keep yours clean; and you can always hire
professionals in domestic cleaning in Sydney area to make it spotless. When it comes to attention,
modern technology development gave us the possibility to monitor our older ones 24 hours a day,
without need to be with them all the

The Catalonia And Spain Conflict
Catalonia, the Northeastern region of Spain, is engaged in a true and realistic conflict over gaining
sovereignty and independence from Spain. This conflict, which is rooted in Catalonian nationalism,
has been ongoing for years and has evolved significantly over time (Alexander, 2014). Since the
conquering of Catalonia many centuries ago, the Catalonian people have worked resiliently to resist
the loss of their language and culture by struggling against assimilating to the common cultures, laws,
and language of its conqueror (Alexander, 2014). Throughout Spanish history, Catalonia has employed
different methods in achieving their goal of independence from Spain. The manifestation of this
conflict has taken the form of protests, laws, political parties, and certain acts of violence which
indicates the severity of it, the passion of its participants, and provides concrete evidence that this
conflict not only exists but is highly prevalent in Spanish history. The Catalonia and Spain conflict has
manifested itself in several different forms throughout the twentieth century. To begin understanding
the manifestation of the conflict, it is imperative to understand the scope in which the conflict
branches from. While it is apparent that the conflict is generally between Catalonia and Spain, the
scope in which this conflict reaches is spread within specific groups of the Catalonian and Spanish
population. According to Bolloten and Esenwein (2015) the scope of the Catalonia and

Truman Capote s Cold Blood
In Cold Blood by Truman Capote is considered one of the first novels to establish a new genre. Capote
combined fictional elements to a real crime story that set the groundwork for future true crime novels.
The foundation of the story is the tragic murder of the Clutter family, Herbert, Bonnie, Nancy, and
Kenyon, and the effect it had on small town of Holcomb, Kansas. In Cold Blood is a journalistic novel
that has the credibility of fact, the immediacy of film, the depth and freedom of prose, and the
precision of poetry, . Throughout the novel, Capote switches between the perspective of the killers, the
victims, and those who live in the town. This creates a unique and at times truly staggering parallel
that ultimately forces the reader ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This contrast can first be seen in the descriptions of Herbert Clutter, the father of the Clutter family,
who was cut a man s man figure. His shoulders were broad... his square jawed confident face retained
a healthy hued youthfulness, (Capote 6) and Dick Hickock, his face, which seemed composed of
mismatching parts... the lips were slightly aslant, the nose askew, and his eyes not only situated at
uneven levels but of uneven size, (Capote 31) and Perry Smith, his chunky, dwarfish legs, broken in
five places and pitifully scarred, still pained him so severely, (Capote 31). Mr. Clutter, in perfect health
condition, was considered to be traditionally handsome . Whereas Dick and Perry both are scarred by
prior vehicle crashes with some part of their body maimed and permanently changed for the worse as
a result. As well as littered with tattoos across their face and arms, they are, in a sense, the exact
opposite of Mr. Clutter. Due to Mr. Clutter being described with positive traits the reader is more
likely to trust, and therefore sympathize with him. In direct opposition to how Dick and Perry were
described with mostly negative traits. The reader is less likely to trust them, but instead pin them as
the bad guys without any knowledge of their past or their future actions. These completely opposing
descriptions of the three men serve to set the foundation, or

As the internet continues to transform, so have web search engines utilized around the world. The

Analysis Of Rancho Solano Preparatory School
Introduction
Rancho Solano Preparatory School (RSPS) was founded in 1954 and for decades was highly praised
by parents as being family oriented and community centered. In 2007, the school was sold to Meritas
Family of Schools and within the subsequent seven years changed its strategy to one with international
interests. Other changes in the school were not so positive and included an increased lack of
transparency with parents and teachers, which resulted in a gradual disconnect with the community
leading to anger and distrust on the part of parents. To address these issues, this paper will identify the
three major organizational subsystems and recommend changes to the subsystem most in need of
change. In addition, this paper will provide ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The RSPS website reveals an organizational structure that looks to be very bureaucratic with a
significant number of administrators and directors of various departments. The employee count for
RSPS is also much higher than competing schools such as #1 ranked private school Brophy College
Preparatory with 1,275 students and 150 staff (8.5 students per employee) ; #2 ranked private school,
Northwest Christian School with 1,410 students and 92 employees on one campus(15 students per
employee); and # 4 ranked private school, Xavier College Preparatory with 1,163 students and 155
employees on one campus (7.5 students per employee). Comparatively, RSPS has 1,137 students and
200 employees (5.7 students per employee) (Top 10 Arizona Companies: Private Schools, 2014). This
is not a horizontal organization that is becoming more and more common in today s business world.
The teacher subsystem should be changed into an adaptive organization or organic design
(Schermerhorn, 2011, p. 355). In the adaptive design, authority would be decentralized, with fewer
rules and procedures, wide spans of control, shared tasks, more teams and task forces, and more
informal and personal coordination (Schermerhorn, 2011, p. 355). The planned change would result in
improved interpersonal connection with students, their parents, and other teachers. Administrators,
while serving an important function would not be the focus. In the case of RSPS, one could argue that
administrators have

Did Popular Culture Become Indaganda During World War One
How did popular culture become propaganda during World War One?
Popular culture plays an active role in everyone s life. For instance, everyone has, at least twice in a
lifetime, watched a movie, or listened to a song. The recurring role of cinema, music and dance has
always been relevant, but when did it meet with politics? This essay is aimed at proving that this
relation took place during World War One, the moment in which allies and followers were especially
needed. In the first paragraph, the reader will receive a detailed overview on propaganda and how
important it became during the Great War. Then, the effects on music and dance during the conflict
will be described. Thirdly, minor issues like sports and fashion will be discussed. Next, ... Show more

Mass media became a type of weapon of warfare , the British government even enlisted celebrated
authors to promote the allied cause to the world. As time went by, individual artists, authors and
illustrators started creating to mobilize public opinion behind war efforts.
Don t waste bread! Save two slices every day and defeat the U boat .
This is a quote from a common, well known propaganda poster. It is directly speaking to the viewer,
and is trying to convince him to save bread, which can be used to feed soldiers. This is a way of
making civilians feel special, it makes them believe they can actually do something to help their
country.
World War One was a true transition point for music genres. During the conflict, patriotic odes were of
vital relevance. A good example is the anti german: Bing! Bang! Bing Em on the Rhine . Lyrics
include the sentence: And then we all go swimming in the rhine, we ll hang out clothes in Hidenburg s
old lines , which shows how music was influenced by the desire for the destruction of opponents.
Some other songs depict the everyday lives of soldiers. For example Oh how I hate to get up in the
morning by Irvin Berlin, which is written from an upset soldier s point of view. The change in music
also influenced dance, which became less popular as the war went on. Men were now overseas and

Discuss how the leadership talent pipeline at Ecolab was critical to executing its business strategy.
The CEO and executives got together and came up with a strategy that grows the company. They had
to capitalize on success to capture greater share in markets. What this mean is they had to go a step
higher than where the company currently stands. I think because they don t want to get comfortable
and stuck and can t grow. They also are looking for new opportunities for the company to expand.
With this being said they are trying to develop a broader range of cleaning and sanitizing products.

associates who would be necessary to lead the workforce would be a critical element. Basically they
were preparing for the growth of the company by making sure the management team and leaders. So
they had to promote within the company and then bring in new employees to train. They would also
hire from outside the company but why do that if you have qualified individuals at the company. It
will cost less and probably be more beneficial to the company. b. Expanding recruiting efforts which
was usually done by the HR department. If they are expanding they know they are going to have to
use their resources because they want to make sure they are hiring the best of the best. c. Redefining
high potential was also a critical element. They aren t just basing it on the performance but on
capability, ambition and commitment. Just because they perform their jobs well doesn t mean they
could take on the new roles. d. Talent council is basically the CEO and executive that s watching and
seeing who is growing. They are pushing the managers so they can continue to push employees which
will continue to grow the business.

The Ever Changing Nature of Political Campaigns Noam Chomsky once said, That s the whole point
of good propaganda. You want to create a slogan that nobody s going to be against, and everybody s
going to be for. Nobody knows what it means, because it doesn t mean anything. Wednesday morning,
the chilly November air stung my face as I walked slowly towards my car door. To me, it seemed that
everything had changed. News of the election results mumbled quietly on the radio as I drove past

Beyond these essentials, I believe it is clear our federal government is overgrown and overweight. Not
only did Reagan promise of rejuvenation of the American domestic economy, but also advocated for
stronger relations with allies to consolidate our spot in the international spotlight. With that being said,
the would be fortieth president promoted a North American Accord for strengthening North American
links while urging an end to discrimination for women in particular. Overall, Reagan s 1980 campaign
rhetoric employed an ambiguous, uplifting approach that urged an encompassing moral
reconsideration of American life rather than specific policies; primarily, Reagan appealed to the
American public based upon his image of the nation and essentially because he did not represent the
America Carter was leading the nation towards. Reagan s opinion on Carter s America can be seen in
the quote, I m talking in human terms and he is hiding behind a dictionary. If he wants a definition, I ll
give him one. A recession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose yours. A
recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his. While the feel good patriotism of the Reagan era was
coming to a close, the composition of forty s positive campaign during a nation s era of suffering was
now solidified as a potential method of vanquishing the component. The next monumental campaign

Building Trust And Credibility Is Important
Introduction
Trust can be defined as believing that someone or somewhat is reliable, nice, honest, effectual, etc. A
department or business cannot be much stable without having trust. Trust can be of many types, like
having trust on the employees, trust on the distributors and trust on the other stakeholders. Building
trust or being credible is a basic accomplishment. This is based on main 4 cores. These are integrity,
intent, capabilities and results. Similarly, for the Federal Police Agency it s a necessity. Federal Police
Agency is thought to not to be trusted. Many people think that Police Agencies are corrupt and
distrustful. That is somehow true. So the federal Police Agency must lead with trust. It is obvious that
it has to follow the 4 cores of credibility. Building trust is however easier said than done (Myers, et.al,
2015). They have to work hard definitely. In this paper ways to build trust and credibility is
mentioned.
1. Integrity:
The first core of being credible is to opt the way of integrity. Integrity is the value of being sincere and
having strong ethical principles; ethical uprightness. It is usually a personal alternative to sustain
oneself to consistent honorable and ethical averages. Subsequently, it s really important obviously. The
Federal Police Agency needs to hold integrity. They have to opt the way which can lead to integrity
and following by the trust building.
Integrity is significant for Police Agents because they are selected, appointed,

Wrecking Ball begins with the melody playing and the screen focused on Cyrus face against a white

Argument On Fact Constructivism
I don t support fact constructivism because its fallible as its fundamental idea is that we construct facts
and their existence depends upon us meaning even facts that obtained before our existence are
dependent on us. In this essay my primary focus will be evaluating absolute fact
constructivism(chapter 3)and one significant claim as well as an argument for and against it in order to
justify why I don t support fact constructivism.
What we call absolute fact constructivism in essence is a constructivist theses which states that the
existence of facts is dependent solely on humans it also states that the creation of facts by humans

Boghossian refers to this claim that Goodman and Rorty are gesturing at as the Description
Dependence of Facts. Boghossian explains that Description Dependence of Facts is a thesis which
states that all facts are description dependent: there cannot be a fact of the matter as to how things are
with the world independently of our propensity to describe the world as being a certain way. Once we
adopt a particular scheme for describing the world, there then come to be facts about the world. This
thesis is a variation of the view that all facts are mind independent as only minds can describe the
world; Boghossian partly agrees with this view as he does acknowledge that some facts are indeed
mind dependent and he gives examples such as that there could be no fact such as money if we
humans didn t construct that fact; however he believes that logic cant apply to all facts such as
dinosaurs or electrons which don t rely on humans for their existence. Boghossian has trouble
identifying a solid argument for absolute fact constructivism and this is worsened by the fact that he
believes that there is a thesis which is similar to absolute fact constructivism to an extent but then
again the very same thesis supports fact objectivism which goes against absolute fact constructivism
and the result is it weakens the argument for absolute fact constructivism and makes it seem
implausible than it actually is Boghossian calls this thesis Social Relativity of Descriptions.

Many people who experienced the war, currently suffer from trauma. Many soldiers who had

Propaganda And Doublespeak By Donna Woolfolk Cross
The use of propaganda and doublespeak have a long history, going back to the ancient societies.
Propaganda and doublespeak are the use of verbal exchange to have an effect on the emotions,
attitudes, and opinions of human beings. To try to get them to accept a particular political, religious, or
financial point of view, or even to start a war. It is careful manipulation of the opinions of the societies
mostly by their government. In the effort to control the nation s thought process, the government has
used mass propaganda for selling a war.
In the essay, Propaganda: How Not to be Bamboozled, and The World of Doublespeak, both authors
discuss and explains the unusual types of propaganda and the misleading nature of doublespeak. First,
Donna Woolfolk Cross describes the constructions and the specific methods propaganda presented in
our day by day life, and how to avoid being tricked. Also Cross believes that it is important for people
in a democratic society to be well informed about propaganda due to how people get manipulated into
simply doing something except thinking. Additionally, Cross explains for us as readers the different
sorts of propaganda and how we view the topics in a positive way. She highlights in her essay that
propaganda is not continually negative; however, it also used in significant ways. Cross presents in her
essay that there are thirteen different types of propaganda; such as Card Stacking, Name calling, and

Danger of Deforestation
The Danger of Deforestation(rough draft) By Chenghao Chen

It is obvious the importance of the forest vegetation to everyone in the society. However, people in the
past ages did a kind of thing that they thought was very meaningful cutting down the trees. When they
recall this history, most of them cannot be restrained from their remorse and guilty to it. Trees or forest
are things that not only protect the environment but also help people to live better. Destroy of forest

trend. They may use wood to produce furniture, houses, boats and they need more space to do farm

is vital to the survey on the change of the forest land. The main reasons for deforestation are from two
aspects, one is the state owned forest area, and the other is collective forest area (John amp;Richard
1988). In fact, the amount of state owned forest area is much larger than collective forest area. The
ecological as well as financial crisis caused by the deforestation has also stayed for quite a long time.
The reasons for ecological and financial crisis in state owned forest area can be analyzed from several
aspects such as, firstly, the excessive growth of the population in state owned forest area, which makes

Gendercide In The Bosnia-Herzegovina Genocide
Genocide has been around for ages, and usually occurs during a military conflict. When people think
of genocide, they think of the annihilation of a race, religion, or class including all members of the
group. Killing all the people in a family was considered the root and branch method. This was used to
assure that no other generations could come in the future. This is not the case for all genocides. In the
Bosnia Herzegovina genocide, battle aged men were murdered while the women were taken as sex
slaves. This is still considered genocide because the Serbs, killing all males who were Muslim or
Croats, would make it impossible for them to continue to reproduce and continue their ethnic group.
Also, enslaving all women as sex slaves is still ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Gendercide is the targeting of one gender in genocide, and in this case it is directed towards the males.
Rape is a weapon used in history, and by the Serbs, to humiliate and destroy the lives of women and
their culture. The Serbs used it to make the women never want to come back to their homeland.
Killing the men and enslaving the women is to prevent the next generation of Muslims and Croats.
The killing had started due to the breaking up of Yugoslavia, which was filled with mixing ethnic
groups, and religions in many of their cities. They would kill the male children to make sure they
could not plot revenge, or to reproduce (Jones 465). The males were targeted for killings because they
were seen as a military threat, unlike the women. The Serb s goal was the ethnic cleansing of Bosnia
Herzegovina, and the incorporate it into greater Serbia. Their strategy was to terrorize the non Serb
population into fleeing, to murder Muslim and Croat men, and then to deport the remaining
population. The killings and the rapes were done by Serbian men. Some willing and others unwilling.
Some Serbs were approached by soldiers and told they must participate and help with the cleansing.

Public Grievances With Emphasis On Administrative Law Essay
The government of a country has been understood to be of vital importance for purposes of stability,
responsibility, and accountability of the nation. China s government is no less different from this
important context. With the complex structure of China s government, scholars have argued that the
government s function, with its high favorability rate, is an interesting dynamic that no other country
possesses. Although there are many functions that a government should be fulfilling, Teresa Wright, in
her book, Party and State in Post Mao China, examines how China is able to satisfy basic functions of
government that she argues is of importance. Wright explains that specific government features have
influenced its ability to fulfill their governmental functions. As Wright argues, the main focus of this
paper shall be to examine China and its ability in addressing public grievances with emphasis on
administrative law. Specifically, the paper shall attempt to answer whether or not the Chinese
government is adequately attempting to address public grievances. The aim of this paper is not to
argue whether or not administrative law is successful in comparison to other nations, e.g. the United
States, but whether or not it is successful in the context of their government. Part I of this paper shall
outline the history and creation of administrative law in China. With the creation of administrative

God Reflection
Almost every day of my life, I ask myself the same question and that is: How will God be present in
my life today? The answer to this question changes every single day because God has a different plan
for me and all of the people that surround me. From what I have seen over the course of my life, I
have noticed that God s presence has always been there for me on my weakest days and my strongest.
During these times where I have experienced God watching over me, I feel that my relationship with
Him as strengthened and that my faith has grown as well. These moments in my life make me reflect
on what it truly means to have the presence of God in my life and how He helps me to grow and build
a deeper connection with those in my church, school, home, and especially the Holy Trinity. I know
that whatever I am doing today or tomorrow, wherever the path I am currently walking on takes me, I

The United States Should Build A Wall
Whether or not the United States should build a wall to secure the border around Mexico is a
controversial topic. The controversy is mainly over the cost and true purpose of the wall. Many people
wonder if there is a need for the wall to be built, while others are pushing for the massive wall to be
built. Many do not believe the wall would stop the immigrants from illegally crossing at all. Human
migration routes are like rivers: If they hit an obstacle, the flow finds a way around it (Chappell).
Although the idea of building a wall is controversial, many would agree that the idea is expensive, a
waste of time, and ridiculous.
The wall would be a very expensive project for the government to pursue. Originally, during Trump s

The treaties between the United States and Mexico that prohibit the blockage of rivers across the
border would be roadblocks in President s Trump s plan (Aguilera). Another one would be the Native
American reservations along the borders. It would be a waste of time for the government to have the
wall built only to have gaps within the wall due to restrictions. Trump would be able to get around
these restrictions by convincing Congress to pass a bill that would take the land away from the Native
Americans, but that would only start chaos. Most of the land currently without a border fence cannot
withstand the construction of a wall because of the geography by which it is surrounded. Due to this,
there will be gaps within the wall through which immigrants would be able to enter. The wall is
viewed as a ridiculous idea because it realistically will not fulfill the desires President Trump has. The
wall will not only cost billions of dollars, but will also not keep out all of the illegal immigrants. It can
even keep in the ones that are in the United States today as illegal. The illegals currently in the country
would be turned away at the idea of crossing back over the border to see their families after they learn
that a more secure border is being put in place (Falkenberg). The people who want to cross over to the
United States legally have a difficult time acquiring their citizenship

The Pueblo Flood That Changed My View And Outlook On Water...
The Pueblo Flood, something that anyone who is a native of Colorado has heard about before. When
thinking about the flood, it has always been assumed at least for myself that was something that took
place and not much thought was given to it until this became the topic of choice for this paper. The
Pueblo flood occurred on the Evening of June 5, 1921. The flood that changed the town of Pueblo
forever and is still even to this day the deadliest flood in Colorado s History. However, what is not
well known is the fact that there was not one flood but three, the devastation that overtook the town
was monumental. The firsthand accounts were heartbreaking, the experience of learning about the
flood has truly changed my view and outlook on water tremendously. The Pueblo flood facts are as
follows; the flood occurred in 1921 in the month of June. The first flood occurred due to heavy rain
that fell over a small area called Dry Creek which lies just above Pueblo, The Rise in the River caused
the banks to overflow, this occurred on the evening of June 2nd. The Second Flood, which is known as
the main flood took place on the night of June 3rd and will be the main focus of this paper. The Third
flood occurred on the morning of June 5th due to the breaking of the Schaeffer Reservoir in an area
known as Beaver Creek. The exact amount the height of the flood waters got to will never truly be
known, but there is evidence though out Pueblo even to this day that documents how high

Plano Food Pantry Personal Statement
Because I have a very strong interest in nutrition and both internal and rehabilitative medicine, I
would like to dedicate myself to serve the medical needs of those less fortunate. I believe that this is
the best way for me to contribute to society from the experiences I have had. I believe there is nothing
that I would find more meaningful than studying and practicing medicine. Being part of Balavikas,
youth service group, has given me a glimpse into the vast class differences that occur in our society. In
Balavikas, I volunteered at the Austin Street Shelter and at the Plano Food Pantry, where I was able to
interact with socially and economically disadvantaged people who have dealt first hand with these
pressing issues. Volunteering at these places has been a motivational and educational experience by
showing me the medical issues that affect the poor, including nutrient deficiency. To serve these
people and see their gratitude has inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. In college, I ... Show

Personal Note On Computer Science Essay
1. WHAT SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN COMPUTER SCIENCE? HOW DID THIS LEAD YOU
TO MAJOR IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH WITH
YOUR DEGREE? IN YOUR ANSWER, PLEASE DESCRIBE HOW YOUR EXPERIENCES HAVE
INFLUENCED THE GOALS YOU HAVE FOR YOURSELF.
The world of Computer Science has always been a fascinating field to me. Right from elementary
school when I was taught about the evolution of computers, from the early counting mechanisms
using the abacus to the father of computer s difference machine and down to reinventions of various
concepts, to what we have now in our modern day world as efficiently serving computers. Also while
growing up, I had an Uncle who lived with my family for a while. He was always trying to solve
Computer Science related programs. In fact, his room at the time was like a Computer laboratory, with
lots of gadgets and resources like infrared enhancing equipment, CPU systems all dismantled into
little pieces, lots of books and encyclopaedias on how to be an excellent computer programmer, to
different things I could not comprehend at the time but knew they were out of this world.
My passion for Computer Science is not just because of its intriguing nature but also because evidence
of reinventions constantly show that anyone can make a difference or contribution no matter how little
that contribution may be, which is why I believe the field of Computer Science to be continually
evolving day after day. All of these helped to not just

Comparing Mcfague s Judaism And Economic Reform
The distribution of wealth has been a major problem in modern society. The economic system is
currently dividing the nation into a society of either being classified as rich or poor. The current
system is causing individuals to consume more than what the Earth s surface can reproduce.
Furthermore, the allocation of goods and services are not fairly distributed worldwide. People are
supposed to live as one and share goods and services equitably, but because of capitalism, many
individuals live a life of self interest and greed. Since resources are scarce, we live in an all for one
society. This essay will critique Norman Solomon s argument in Judaism and Economic Reform to

McFague s argues that people should stop limiting their ability to concern their needs as humans being
and consider the environment and other living organisms. McFague argues that people must move
toward thinking about sustaining the world, not just the people. McFague poses the concept of the
Earth being a household that everyone in society livings a part of this one house that lives together.
Therefore, she goes to mention that those of the Christian Faith embrace all creations and not just
human beings who make up less than one percent of it (120). McFague asserts that society needs to
pay more attention to what is happening with the environment because under this neoclassical model
people are consuming too many resources. The Neoclassical model is a system that sees human beings
on the planet as a corporation or syndicate, a collection of individuals drawn together to benefit its
members by optimal use of resources (124). McFague argues that this model exploits the earth s
resources and causes greed in people, which has led to their being a need for economic reform.
Therefore, Mcfague poses the Ecological model as the solution, which sees the planet as a community
that survives and prospers only through the interdependence of all its parts, human and nonhuman
(McFague 127). The ecological model is about sustaining the environment and limiting the greed of
individuals by transforming society from thinking about oneself to more of a community mindset.
Therefore, McFague mentions people must thinking about the world as a community in order for the
world to flourish, which means that the earth s resources must be distributed justly among all its
inhabitants, human and each other, on a sustainable basis (120). Mcfague is arguing that the ecological
model makes individuals more conscious, which can help direct our faith. For instance, we are God s
children; however, we must learn to operate from his

The first people were from Portuguese in the 1543. Yet, the Shogunate and Daimayo would keep a

Characteristics Of The Chinese Post 90s Generation From...
The paper will focus on the shift in characteristics of the Chinese post 90s generation from elder
generations, particularly the characteristics embedded in the working place.
Unlike the West, where generational cohorts are broader, China s rapid development means each
generation exhibits its own distinct characteristics. Unlike previous generations, the post 90s
generation has enjoyed fruits of rising Chinese economy, as a result of the reform and opening up of
Chinese economy, proliferation of information technology, and remarkable increase in the family
income. These all have fundamental shift of their view of the world, their preference, and their habits
of living.
Difference between the post 90s and their parents generation
Economy
Since the Chinese economic reform beginning in 1978, China has witnessed an economic miracle.
China s annual GDP growth has been around 9.5% 11.5% per year from 1978 to 2013, and GDP per
capita has grown to RMB 41,908 in 2013 from RMB 381 in 1978 (National Bureau of Statistics of
China, 2014). The opening up of Chinese economy to foreign investments, loosening regulations, and
boost of private sectors etc., have all contributed to this economic miracle. China not only supported
the growth of the East Asian Tigers, but also was widely considered as the world engine thereafter.
The post 90s generation was born amid this rapid economic growth. They had little memory of the
Chinese political turmoil and impoverished past, and live a

Rivera I will assert that virtue is the happy, magnificent, and content median between the two vices.
This type of happiness is our highest objective in life. Moreover, all human activities aim at some end
that we consider good. According to Aristotle, virtue is a disposition to behave in the right manner and
as a mean between extremes of deficiency and excess, which are called vices. Individuals learn moral
virtue primarily through habit and practice. Moreover, Aristotle does not say that we should aim for
happiness, but rather that we do aim at happiness. Most individuals think of happiness as physical
pleasure or honor, but this is because they have an imperfect view of the good life. A question of high
significance in any investigation of ethics is how we can teach people to be good. Furthermore,
Aristotle makes it clear that virtue cannot be taught in a classroom or by means of argumentation.
Virtue is taught through consistent practice, which begins at a young age: Our discussion will be

The Dissolution Of Marriage Bonds
The dissolution of marriage bonds in the society today is no longer an issue spoken in hushed tones
behind doors as in previous times. Statistics have indicated an increasing rate of divorce in countries
like Belgium and Chile as being very high and only a few places like the Philippines depict low rates
(Kittleson, et.al, 2005). It is on account of these developments that we seriously ponder and guess on
what really caused the sudden rise. Is it a problem with the individual or is it society s drawback?
It is commonly quotes that half of the marriages that exist today end up in divorce. Taking the
example of Canada, latest studies have found that four in ten first marriages end in divorce (cbc.ca,
2015). What has drawn attention is not just the figures but it is the comparison between the present
and the past figures and the rate with which they are rising (Kittleson,et.al, 2005). Divorce indeed has
existed over many generations. The reasons given for divorce in society have not really changed much
but have only become more complicated because of the societal dynamics. While pursuing solutions
to this issue, strategies have been laid out just like that applied to many other problems . Such is the
case that various professionals who include researchers, scholars, sociologist s and many others have
made attempts to figure out what exactly is the source to divorce. Here, the big question is whether it
is a problem with society or with the

Illegal Immigration Is The United States
The subject of illegal immigration is nothing new in the United States. The social, economic, and
political issues surrounding illegal immigrants have been debated at the federal and state levels for
years. In the last decade, one of the issues which has received a lot of attention and development is the
issue of higher education for illegal immigrants. Until recently many illegal immigrant students were
unable to attend institutes of higher education because their lack of documentation disqualified them
from admissions and financial assistance. Without clear federal mandates on the matter, decisions
regarding higher education for undocumented immigrant students are left to the discretion of
individual states. Among various laws and statutes enacted by states, the state of Minnesota has
established its clear support of equal education opportunities for undocumented immigrant students by
granting them higher education rights through the Minnesota Dream Act.
The American Immigration Counsel estimates that across the nation 65,000 undocumented students
graduate from high school in a single year ( Dream Act ). After graduating high school, it s

strength of their own fists, they could win, hence the name Boxers , and thus the Boxer Rebellion was
born. Although, the influence of Western culture in China starting in the 1800s brought many positive
impacts to China, inevitably, as a result of the Opium Wars, the Scramble for Concessions , and
Christianity, led to the Boxers taking a stand. A major contributor to why this rebellion took place was
because of the previous attempts that had ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many would argue it is the true number one, primary reason that the Boxer Rebellion occurred in the
first place. The spread of Christianity in China at this time was an extremely convincing sing of
Western influence. Luella Miner was among the westerners that happened to be in China during the
Boxer Rebellion. According to her, their motto was essentially Kill the foreign devils, Kill...Kill...Kill!
. This motto would greatly explain the violence and aggression shown by the Boxers during the
rebellion. Many Boxers claim to have been primarily annoyed with the Western influence in China at
the time. Christianity would have played a key role in demonstrating Western imperialism, which is
what would explain the murdering of thousands of Christian missionaries and Chinese Christians
living in China at the time. When considered, there are not many things that scream Western culture
more than Western religion itself. Opium was only a substance that many Chinese enjoyed abusing
and Western ways of ruling were heavily affected by that country s religious beliefs. This is why
Christianity would have received the primary amounts of hate from the Boxers. Many Chinese
Christians and missionaries were murdered as a result of the Boxer Rebellion. Approximately 32,000
and 200 missionaries were murdered. This figure more clearly can demonstrate the hate towards these
Christians, and the effects they were having on the development

Deborah Tannen Essay
We are all the same. People always said. But is this really the case? For people, are we really all the
same between men and women? Do men and women really linve in same worlds? When people say
same , it s about the way we communicate, about our lifestyle and emotions.
Deborah Tannen, 1990, strongly believes that men and women have different ways of communicating.
Tannen believes that the best way to describe communication between the genders is in a cross
cultural format. She called this, Genderlect theory of Deborah Tannen. This theory mostly focuses on
how the two genders, male and female, are made of different things and how both genders has
contrasting styles, in terms of the way they communicate. According to Griffin, E. (2009), there ...

stressed how women s language needs to change and become stronger in order to disrupt inequalities
between the sexes, Tannen s explanation stressed that the differences needed to be revealed and
understood so that communication between the sexes could be improved. Tannen engages the concept
of culture to bolster her central proposition. She has likened the impact of male female differences in
language codes to the challenges of intercultural communication by introducing opposing key
concepts that guide women s and men s production and interpretation of language. Tannen asserts that
women stress connection and intimacy, and men stress status and independence. This two
languages/two cultures approach stressed female and male differences, contrast to Lakoff s

After the attack of the jews, 25, 000 Jewish men were ordered by Heydrich to be sent to concentration
camps
In 1941, Reinhard Heydrich had made the calls that killed a massive number of people. The half a
million jews who died from starvation and murder in Ghettos such as Warsaw and Krakow were
ordered by Heydrich to be sent there.
By 1939, he was given complete control over the Reich Main Security Office (RSHA). This final
group he d gained power over, involving the SD, Criminal Police and Gestapo was the group
responsible for the unthinkable amount of deaths in Europe. While leader of this organization, he d

Heydrich declared the final solution to the Jewish question The usage of Zyklon B had then been

Essay on Human Factors in Flight 5390
|Flight 5390 was a British Airways flight between Birmingham International Airport in England and
MƔlaga, Spain. On June 10, 1990 there | |was an improperly installed windshield and failed in mid
flight. The plane had climbed to 17,300 feet over Didcot, Oxfordshire, A few | |minutes later there was
a loud bang, and the fuselage quickly filled with condensation. The left windscreen, on the captain s
side of | |the cockpit, had failed. Lancaster, the captain, was pulled out of his seat by the air and forced
head first out of the cockpit. This | |left him with his whole upper torso out of the aircraft, and only his

Accident investigators found that a replacement windscreen had been installed 27 hours before the
flight, and that the procedure had been approved by the Shift Maintenance Manager. 84 of the 90
windscreen retention bolts were 0.026 inches too small in diameter, while the remaining six were 0.1
inches too short ( British airways flight 5390, ). The investigation revealed that the previous
windscreen had been fitted with incorrect bolts, which had been replaced on a like for like basis by the
Shift Maintenance Manager without reference to the maintenance documentation. The air pressure
difference between the cabin and the outside during the flight proved to be too much, leading to the
failure of the windscreen. The incident also brought to attention a design flaw in the aircraft of the
windscreen being secured from the outside of the aircraft, putting a greater stress on the bolts than if
they were secured from the inside. Investigators blamed the British Airways Birmingham Airport Shift
Maintenance Manager for installing the incorrect bolts during the windscreen replacement and for
failing to follow official British Airways policies. They also found fault with British Airways policies,
which should have required testing or verification by another person for this critical task. Finally,
investigators blamed the local Birmingham Airport management for not directly monitoring the

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Color Blue
One of the colors that professionals from around the world of interior design and decoration always
recommend when decorating the home is blue, which is not surprising, because when it comes to
decor, the color blue brings more advantages than disadvantages. In all its variants, this color can
provide a pleasant sensation of freshness, cleanliness and relaxation, so it is perfect for rooms like the
bedroom or bathroom. Yes, it is also suitable for other areas of the home. Another thing to consider is
that blue can be combined with a lot of colors, and especially combined with white can get spectacular
results.
Meaning of blue
Color blue in art is the synonym for loyalty, humility, modesty while in dreams it means a dubious
success. Among the planets it signifies Jupiter, and sapphire in precious stones. In general, blue

solutions in the form of led lights that are flexible, inexpensive and work on low voltage, candles,
paintings where the sky and the sea are the main motif and so on. Of course, if you opt for this option,
always ensure that the objects combine well with the rest of decorations. Ideally, home should have a
lot of decorations in different shades of blue that would fit perfectly together. In the case of the
children s bedrooms, toys in the color blue could look great, especially if there are other blue elements
in the bedroom.
Color blue contributes to a good mood and is associated with the sky and the sea. In the language of

Do Dogs Make Better Pets Than Cats Research Paper
Do Dogs Make Better Pets Than Cats?
Imagine : You are are at a pet adoption center, trying to pick out a pet. The only pets they have are
dogs and cats. Which would you pick and why? Cat videos are hysterical, but dogs remain the more
flexible pet. (not literally) Dogs are by far the most popular pet to love. They are also extremely loyal
and, I guess you could say, caring. As of 2011, a survey showed that the two most popular pets to own
are dogs and cats. Even though the total number of pet cats is more than dogs, households that own
dogs outnumber cats. Hence the crazy cat lady reference, many of the households of cat owners
consists of only one person who owns a group of cats. The dog owning households have families

  • 2. Napoleon s Reign Over Italy Italy, as it is known today, has been in existence for less than one hundred fifty years. For several centuries, Italy had been made up of separate states often ruled by foreign powers. In 1796, Napoleon Bonaparte invaded and conquered the Italian peninsula. After falling under French rule, the peninsula was divided into three parts: several northern states, which were annexed to France, the Kingdom of Italy, of which Napoleon declared himself king in 1805, and the Kingdom of Naples in the south. Napoleon and the French brought new ideas about society and governing with them. They also brought the concepts of freedom and nationalism with them, which might have sparked Italy s later attempts to achieve unity. Napoleon s reign over Italy crumbled with his defeat in 1814. Shortly after, parts of Italy were distributed amongst other European countries, particularly Austria, and returned to former rulers by the Congress of Vienna in 1815. Many people were unhappy with the actions of the Congress and secret societies started to grow to oppose these rulers and promote the idea of a united Italy. One of the secret societies set up in opposition to foreign rulers was called the Carbonari. This nationalistic, revolutionary group started in Naples and spread northward. In 1820 they carried out a successful revolution in Naples which forced King Ferdinand I to set up a new constitution and parliament, but it was soon squashed by the Austrians. All their future uprisings failed, and in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Granny Pods Research Paper Granny Pods in Your Backyard as a Solution To Nursing Homes Research shows that, in developed countries, the number of older people are growing much faster than any other age group. By the year 2050 the number of people older than 60 will exceed the number of those younger than 15. Hawing this in mind, it is clear that nursing homes are going to be crowded and much more expensive in the future. So, instead of being thrown into one, propose to your children or grandchildren a different solution a Granny pod . What s a granny pod ? As you ve seen earlier in the article, granny pods are much cheaper than nursing homes, so there s benefit number two. Some would say that residents in the nursing homes will have a full and constant attention and that the hygiene is better there than in the backyard cottage. Well, hygiene has to be at the highest level whether you are at the nursing home or in granny pod. Having in mind the granny pods aren t huge structures with hundreds of rooms, keeping them clean isn t going to be much of a struggle. I don t think that you will need more than two hours a week to keep yours clean; and you can always hire professionals in domestic cleaning in Sydney area to make it spotless. • 4. The Catalonia And Spain Conflict Catalonia, the Northeastern region of Spain, is engaged in a true and realistic conflict over gaining sovereignty and independence from Spain. This conflict, which is rooted in Catalonian nationalism, has been ongoing for years and has evolved significantly over time (Alexander, 2014). Since the conquering of Catalonia many centuries ago, the Catalonian people have worked resiliently to resist the loss of their language and culture by struggling against assimilating to the common cultures, laws, and language of its conqueror (Alexander, 2014). Throughout Spanish history, Catalonia has employed different methods in achieving their goal of independence from Spain. The manifestation of this conflict has taken the form of protests, laws, political parties, and certain acts of violence which indicates the severity of it, the passion of its participants, and provides concrete evidence that this conflict not only exists but is highly prevalent in Spanish history. The Catalonia and Spain conflict has manifested itself in several different forms throughout the twentieth century. To begin understanding the manifestation of the conflict, it is imperative to understand the scope in which the conflict branches from. While it is apparent that the conflict is generally between Catalonia and Spain, the scope in which this conflict reaches is spread within specific groups of the Catalonian and Spanish population. • 5. Truman Capote s Cold Blood In Cold Blood by Truman Capote is considered one of the first novels to establish a new genre. Capote combined fictional elements to a real crime story that set the groundwork for future true crime novels. The foundation of the story is the tragic murder of the Clutter family, Herbert, Bonnie, Nancy, and Kenyon, and the effect it had on small town of Holcomb, Kansas. In Cold Blood is a journalistic novel that has the credibility of fact, the immediacy of film, the depth and freedom of prose, and the precision of poetry, . Throughout the novel, Capote switches between the perspective of the killers, the victims, and those who live in the town. This creates a unique and at times truly staggering parallel that ultimately forces the reader ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... His shoulders were broad... his square jawed confident face retained a healthy hued youthfulness, (Capote 6) and Dick Hickock, his face, which seemed composed of mismatching parts... the lips were slightly aslant, the nose askew, and his eyes not only situated at uneven levels but of uneven size, (Capote 31) and Perry Smith, his chunky, dwarfish legs, broken in five places and pitifully scarred, still pained him so severely, (Capote 31). Mr. Clutter, in perfect health condition, was considered to be traditionally handsome . Whereas Dick and Perry both are scarred by prior vehicle crashes with some part of their body maimed and permanently changed for the worse as a result. As well as littered with tattoos across their face and arms, they are, in a sense, the exact opposite of Mr. Clutter. Due to Mr. Clutter being described with positive traits the reader is more likely to trust, and therefore sympathize with him. In direct opposition to how Dick and Perry were described with mostly negative traits. The reader is less likely to trust them, but instead pin them as the bad guys without any knowledge of their past or their future actions. In the adaptive design, authority would be decentralized, with fewer rules and procedures, wide spans of control, shared tasks, more teams and task forces, and more informal and personal coordination (Schermerhorn, 2011, p. 355). Boghossian explains that Description Dependence of Facts is a thesis which states that all facts are description dependent: there cannot be a fact of the matter as to how things are with the world independently of our propensity to describe the world as being a certain way. Once we adopt a particular scheme for describing the world, there then come to be facts about the world. This thesis is a variation of the view that all facts are mind independent as only minds can describe the world; Boghossian partly agrees with this view as he does acknowledge that some facts are indeed mind dependent and he gives examples such as that there could be no fact such as money if we humans didn t construct that fact; however he believes that logic cant apply to all facts such as dinosaurs or electrons which don t rely on humans for their existence. Boghossian has trouble identifying a solid argument for absolute fact constructivism and this is worsened by the fact that he believes that there is a thesis which is similar to absolute fact constructivism to an extent but then again the very same thesis supports fact objectivism which goes against absolute fact constructivism and the result is it weakens the argument for absolute fact constructivism and makes it seem implausible than it actually is Boghossian calls this thesis Social Relativity of Descriptions. ... • 19. Public Grievances With Emphasis On Administrative Law Essay The government of a country has been understood to be of vital importance for purposes of stability, responsibility, and accountability of the nation. China s government is no less different from this important context. With the complex structure of China s government, scholars have argued that the government s function, with its high favorability rate, is an interesting dynamic that no other country possesses. Although there are many functions that a government should be fulfilling, Teresa Wright, in her book, Party and State in Post Mao China, examines how China is able to satisfy basic functions of government that she argues is of importance. Wright explains that specific government features have influenced its ability to fulfill their governmental functions. As Wright argues, the main focus of this paper shall be to examine China and its ability in addressing public grievances with emphasis on administrative law. Specifically, the paper shall attempt to answer whether or not the Chinese government is adequately attempting to address public grievances. • 20. God Reflection Almost every day of my life, I ask myself the same question and that is: How will God be present in my life today? The answer to this question changes every single day because God has a different plan for me and all of the people that surround me. From what I have seen over the course of my life, I have noticed that God s presence has always been there for me on my weakest days and my strongest. During these times where I have experienced God watching over me, I feel that my relationship with Him as strengthened and that my faith has grown as well. These moments in my life make me reflect on what it truly means to have the presence of God in my life and how He helps me to grow and build a deeper connection with those in my church, school, home, and especially the Holy Trinity. I know that whatever I am doing today or tomorrow, wherever the path I am currently walking on takes me, I should take just a moment to take in all that God has bestowed upon me. Over the course of my existence my understanding and my beliefs about Christianity has tremendously changed because as we grow older we have the ability to take in more knowledge than when we were young. When I was a little kid my parents would take me to church every Sunday and my school would have us go to mass every Wednesday as well, but as years have flown by me and my family go to church less and less. I feel terrible that I can not attend church as often as I use to, but now that I am in high school I have discovered ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 21. The United States Should Build A Wall Whether or not the United States should build a wall to secure the border around Mexico is a controversial topic. The controversy is mainly over the cost and true purpose of the wall. Many people wonder if there is a need for the wall to be built, while others are pushing for the massive wall to be built. Many do not believe the wall would stop the immigrants from illegally crossing at all. Human migration routes are like rivers: If they hit an obstacle, the flow finds a way around it (Chappell). The treaties between the United States and Mexico that prohibit the blockage of rivers across the border would be roadblocks in President s Trump s plan (Aguilera). Another one would be the Native American reservations along the borders. It would be a waste of time for the government to have the wall built only to have gaps within the wall due to restrictions. Trump would be able to get around these restrictions by convincing Congress to pass a bill that would take the land away from the Native Americans, but that would only start chaos. Most of the land currently without a border fence cannot withstand the construction of a wall because of the geography by which it is surrounded. Due to this, there will be gaps within the wall through which immigrants would be able to enter. The wall is viewed as a ridiculous idea because it realistically will not fulfill the desires President Trump has. The wall will not only cost billions of dollars, but will also not keep out all of the illegal immigrants. It can even keep in the ones that are in the United States today as illegal. The illegals currently in the country would be turned away at the idea of crossing back over the border to see their families after they learn that a more secure border is being put in place (Falkenberg). When thinking about the flood, it has always been assumed at least for myself that was something that took place and not much thought was given to it until this became the topic of choice for this paper. The Pueblo flood occurred on the Evening of June 5, 1921. The flood that changed the town of Pueblo forever and is still even to this day the deadliest flood in Colorado s History. However, what is not well known is the fact that there was not one flood but three, the devastation that overtook the town was monumental. The firsthand accounts were heartbreaking, the experience of learning about the flood has truly changed my view and outlook on water tremendously. The Pueblo flood facts are as follows; the flood occurred in 1921 in the month of June. The first flood occurred due to heavy rain that fell over a small area called Dry Creek which lies just above Pueblo, The Rise in the River caused the banks to overflow, this occurred on the evening of June 2nd. The Second Flood, which is known as the main flood took place on the night of June 3rd and will be the main focus of this paper. The Third flood occurred on the morning of June 5th due to the breaking of the Schaeffer Reservoir in an area known as Beaver Creek. The economic system is currently dividing the nation into a society of either being classified as rich or poor. The current system is causing individuals to consume more than what the Earth s surface can reproduce. Furthermore, the allocation of goods and services are not fairly distributed worldwide. People are supposed to live as one and share goods and services equitably, but because of capitalism, many individuals live a life of self interest and greed. McFague s argues that people should stop limiting their ability to concern their needs as humans being and consider the environment and other living organisms. McFague argues that people must move toward thinking about sustaining the world, not just the people. McFague poses the concept of the Earth being a household that everyone in society livings a part of this one house that lives together. Therefore, she goes to mention that those of the Christian Faith embrace all creations and not just human beings who make up less than one percent of it (120). McFague asserts that society needs to pay more attention to what is happening with the environment because under this neoclassical model people are consuming too many resources. The Neoclassical model is a system that sees human beings on the planet as a corporation or syndicate, a collection of individuals drawn together to benefit its members by optimal use of resources (124). McFague argues that this model exploits the earth s resources and causes greed in people, which has led to their being a need for economic reform. Therefore, Mcfague poses the Ecological model as the solution, which sees the planet as a community that survives and prospers only through the interdependence of all its parts, human and nonhuman (McFague 127). The ecological model is about sustaining the environment and limiting the greed of individuals by transforming society from thinking about oneself to more of a community mindset. Therefore, McFague mentions people must thinking about the world as a community in order for the world to flourish, which means that the earth s resources must be distributed justly among all its inhabitants, human and each other, on a sustainable basis (120). Mcfague is arguing that the ecological model makes individuals more conscious, which can help direct our faith. For instance, we are God s children; however, we must learn to operate from his ... Moreover, all human activities aim at some end that we consider good. According to Aristotle, virtue is a disposition to behave in the right manner and as a mean between extremes of deficiency and excess, which are called vices. Individuals learn moral virtue primarily through habit and practice. Moreover, Aristotle does not say that we should aim for happiness, but rather that we do aim at happiness. Most individuals think of happiness as physical pleasure or honor, but this is because they have an imperfect view of the good life. A question of high significance in any investigation of ethics is how we can teach people to be good. Statistics have indicated an increasing rate of divorce in countries like Belgium and Chile as being very high and only a few places like the Philippines depict low rates (Kittleson, et.al, 2005). It is on account of these developments that we seriously ponder and guess on what really caused the sudden rise. Is it a problem with the individual or is it society s drawback? It is commonly quotes that half of the marriages that exist today end up in divorce. Taking the example of Canada, latest studies have found that four in ten first marriages end in divorce (cbc.ca, 2015).
