2. A visionmixer(aka:videoswitcher,videomixeror
productionswitcher) isa desk usedtoselectbetween
multiple differentvideosources (multiple camerasect) and
insome cases mixingsome videosourcestogetherto
create special effects.Thisissimilartowhata mixing
console doesforaudio. Thiswayyoucan senditoff to an
output(ie:a projector,monitor,broadcastitect).
A projectorisa device thatisused to projectrays of lightto make a picture on a blankscreen.
We use projectorsbecause itseasier
and cheaperthe gettingalarge tv
screen.Onlydownfall isthe image
will be pixelatedandthe qualitywill
decrease.Forexample inRingwood
school,we have a 4 meterwide
screenandI have neverseena 4
meterwidertv.The lese canallow
us to focusand zoomin.a fixed
lensesprojectoronlyallowsfocus
and the onlywayto get a larger
image will be tomove itcloser.
Anotherfunctionistosetit upside

picture to hangit fromthe roof
Thisis yourcomposite input.This
will help connectaDVDplayer
directlytothe projector.
Thisis a VGA inputthat youcan
connectyour computerinto and
playwhateverisonyour screen,it
will be projectedonthe screendue
to the projector
3. Rear projectors
The rear projection mode will mirrorthe image toallow youtosee if youwere projectingitfrom
behind. The advantage of thisisthatyou won’tsee the projectorsoit will save roomandit will look
more like a tv,so more professional. The disadvantage of thisisthatthe qualityof the overall picture
will godownbecause itwill have togo throughthe screen, therefore losingitssharpness
Thisis the power

Thisis the HDMI input,this
couldbe a wayto connect

4. Thisis the powersupply
Thisis the HDMI input,this
couldbe a wayto connect
it straightfromthe DVD
playertothe monitor
Thisis a DVI-Dconnectorthat’s
sendsouta digital signal only, this
can connectto a visionmixerand
receive inputsfromittogeta
