Evaluation – Equipment We Used – Question Four
I used Adobe Premiere Pro to upload and install both
the narrative and performance shots footage. I used the Cut Tool
to remove any unnecessary footage, for example some filming shots
would be affected by the low light exposure, causing shadows. I could
just be removing non out of focus shots as well. I also used the Adobe
Premiere Pro to add effects such as cross cutting to emphahsie the narrative
towards are Folk Genre Target Audience
We used a DSLR Canon Camera to film are footage. The camera was more
than adequate as we only needed to adjust the focus settings for pre re cautions
before filming. The camera was overall not complex, or complicated to operate.
This camera was a lot more beneficial than the school provided cameras as we could
film at a higher resolution, boosting the overall quality of the music video
The camera tripod came in useful during the initial and final filming stages
of our music video. This was because during narrative scenes, we needed to
shoot filming on unlevel terrain. For example the cliff and waterfall scene. This
was because the tripod enabled us to adjust the length and angle of legs, of
which the camera would be supported on. The final turnout of this equipment
enabled us to film footage with the camera stationary. This meant I final footage
for both performance and narrative shots were in focus. This emphasised the
Folk Genre in are Music video as the finer details of the performers face, such that
linked with the performers emotions. This emphasised the targets audience
understanding of the Folk Genre in our Final Music Video.
