La toxoplasmosis es una infección causada por el parásito microscópico Toxoplasma gondii, que puede transmitirse de una madre a su feto, con un riesgo del 40% en embarazadas. La infección puede afectar diversos órganos y provocar daños graves en el bebé, como retraso mental o ceguera. Se recomienda evitar el consumo de carne cruda, lavar manos y alimentos, y mantener la higiene en utensilios y superficies para prevenir la infección.
