 Toxoplasmosis is an infection caused by a
microscopic parasite called toxoplasma
gondii.

is a 40 percent chance of transmitting
the infection to the fetus

Toxoplasmosis can affect
 lungs ,

 muscles ,
 gastrointestinal tract
 or the baby's heart
Later, the child may suffer retardation,
blindness or mental severe visual
impairment
BABIES' DAMAGES
 Do not eat raw or
undercooked meat.

 Wash your hands after
handling raw meat.

 Flush with water fruits and
vegetables before eating
them raw
PREVENTIVE MEASURES
 Wash utensils and surfaces
that have been in contact
with raw meat or unwashed
vegetables
 Wash hands before eating .
 Avoid eating raw vegetables
outside his home.
