The next step is the layout plan. This plan is also known as the location plan. This plan is an overview before the constructions starts. Its concerned with where the buildings and facilities are located. So overall it has schematic arrangements of everything in the area. It is not realistic drawings, just diagrams.
This first example of a layout plan is in putrajaya. As you can see the plan shows the location of where the buildings and facilities are located, sch as the putraja corporation or energy commision buidling.
This next example is the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTm)
The last step of town planners drawings is the master plan. Master plan is a document of the strucutre and key element of the site. It provides a framework of how an area will develop. And they do that by setting out goals and strategies to handle the development and change over time. So this would help shows the areas important and how they can conserve, improved and enhanced it.

So this last example in sunway iskandar give an outlook of how the site will develop in the future. This plan can help future planners to maintain the towns layout. For example, they would plan residential at living, industrial at business and commercials at lifestyle.
This is the same plan, sunway iskandar but in 3d. This picture is just to show how the town looks like in a different view. This 3d plan is much more detailed
