be kept for 6 years for audit purposes.
Compliance report is done each summer for
the NCLB Consolidated Application (Title I, II
and III).

year for any and all Title programs.

When you read any federal regulation on spending, you will see that it must be “supplemental”
Also, can not cover items/salaries previously paid with local funds.
Covers the overall school, just like the icing on the cake. View your basic local/state funds are the sheet cake (it is the foundation), then you add the icing (title one funds) to make the cake even better.
WISD took a 10% cut in title funding this year. We will be doing more with less – most campuses will do without the 45 day tutors at this point based on funding.
Services all students.Keep logs of students to document services provided by title employees/tutors and allows a campus then to evaluate the effectiveness of the program/person based on the student performance on state assessments.
Any campus with over 75% low SES must receive a per student allotment of the title funds that is greater than those campuses below the 75%. JES and RRE will receive extra services this year due to their percent of low SES students.
