Essay on PSY Final
I discovered my grandfather had cancer. No matter how much I told myself he could live, that he
might not die, somehow I still felt there was no way for him to get better. He was so young, only 63.
He fought so hard. Whenever I feel my own life taking a turn for the worse, as if things will never get
better, I remember how many years he lived fighting such a scary and difficult disease. The
psychological stages that are typical during the grieving process are denial (The No, not me stage),
anger (The Why me? stage), bargaining (The If I do this, you ll do that stage), depression (The It s
really happened stage), and the acceptance (The This is what happened stage). My grandpa was a
fighter, and knew everything happened for a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
My grandpa was very accepting of what was happening, there wasn t really anything he can do about
it he just had do take it day by day. Overall, I d say the stage theory is pretty accurate and realistic.
Question #2
My stage of development would be young adulthood. According to Erikson, the crisis I m
experiencing is intimacy vs. isolation which is learning to make personal commitment to another s
such as a spouse, parent or partner. The Intimacy vs. Isolation conflict is emphasized around the ages
of 20 to 34. I d say this stage is pretty accurate. This stage of development has a bunch stressors and
issues. In this stage of being an adult we seek one or more companions and love. As we try to find
mutually satisfying relationships, primarily through marriage and friends, we generally also begin to
start a family, though this age has been pushed back for many couples who today don t start their
families until their late thirties. If this stage is successful, we can experience intimacy on a deep level.
If we re not successful, isolation and distance from others may occur. And when we don t find it easy
to create satisfying relationships, our world can begin to shrink as, in defense, we can feel superior to
others. There s nothing really highlighting about what I m going through with this stage of
development. Everyone in the world will go through this stage; it s a part of life. I really don t have to
worry about the next developmental stage just yet; I still

Greeks and Africans Americans
Native American religions are very closely connected to the land in which Native Americans dwell
and the supernatural. While there are many different Native American religious practices, most
address the following areas of supernatural concern: an omnipresent, invisible universal force,
pertaining to the three life crises of birth, puberty, and death , spirits, visions, the medicine people and
communal ceremony. Greek religion encompasses the collection of beliefs and rituals practiced in
ancient Greece in the form of both popular public religion and cult practices. These different groups
varied enough for it to be possible to speak of Greek religions or cults in the plural, though most of
them shared similarities. Africa ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first arrivals were young boys bought by American naval officers and philanthropists on the
Turkish slave block. They were sent to the United States for education and freedom and many
distinguished themselves as teachers or naval officers.
It was not until the turn of the century that the yearly Greek immigrants numbered a thousand or more.
They were mostly young men and boys escaping poverty by sailing towards the bright light of
America. Some came to avoid the compulsory three year military service in the Greek army where a
peasant youth could seldom rise above a menial. A great many came from those parts of Greece still
under Ottoman domination which conscripted Greek youths into the dreaded Turkish infantry.
From Ellis Island they made their way about the streets of New York, searching for someone with the
same ethnic characteristics as their own who could help them find work. Sometimes they wandered
about, lost in the city s maze, until a labor agent, through signs, offered them work in mills, factories,
or road gangs elsewhere. The more fortunate ones, who knew countrymen already working in the
textile cities, went directly to them. But some of these men could not adapt to the noise and confusions
of the factories and their spirit of adventure led them to climb freights and travel over the plains and
mountains to the west.

Effects Of Turbiridity Due On Land Use
1)Effects of turbiridity due to land use changes
Turbidity measures the amount of light scattered from a sample and more suspended particles causes
more scattering results in high turbidity.
Turbidity measurements are often used as indicator of water quality based on clarity and total
suspended solid particles. Turbidity doesn t include the dissolved solids which reduces the scattering.
In agricultural lands the receiving water is contaminated by nonpoint pollution due to different
agricultural activities like crop production, cattle operations, crop pattern and rangelands.
High rates of surface runoff and erosion of land covered by annual crops have high levels of turbidity
in receiving water specially in spring when vegetation cover is minimal.
Wetlands used in removal of bacterial contamination in rivers , act as biofilter which increases the
turbidity.
Turbidity is negatively related with the forested areas and positively with the annual crops and urban
land use.
Annual crops have more turbidity than the perennial crops.so the when annual crops are converted
into the forested areas perennial crops pastures cause 16.4% of turbidity.
It is studied that stabilization of urban land through reforestation practices increases in water quality
due to the high turbidity. Protection of water resources through land use policy is essential.
2)forest soils have high rate of infiltration
Infiltration is known as the movement of water in soil profile occure in

The Current Behavioral Organization Model As A...
GM is described as an organization with a dysfunctional company culture that somehow still manages
to have amazing results in its work, on a global scale. The key attributes of GM, were primarily in the
changes initiated by Mary Barra after the GM ignition switch recall crisis. Some of those attributes
include her willingness to openly acknowledge the undesirable aspects of the GM culture and her
efforts to take action towards a resolution. There are also several noticeable strengths and weaknesses
within the organization. One of the biggest weaknesses is the company s repeated inability to
acknowledge that, lack of functional culture and leadership are truly the root cause of the company s
issues. Based on my reading I would describe the current behavioral organizational model as a
Custodial Model. I chose this model because the managerial orientation is money, employee
orientation is security and benefits and performance results are passive cooperation. All of these
attributes were described in the reading.
Below are the four models that compare the current behavioral organizational model used above to
other models.
I. Autocratic Model
1. Depends on power.
2. Managerial orientation is authority.
3. Employee orientation is obedience.
4. Employee psychological result depends on the boss.
5. Employee needs met is subsistence.
6. Performance result is minimal.
Example: Military/ Soldiers.
II. Supportive Model
1. Depends on leadership.
2. Managerial orientation is

Criminological Theory Of Subculture Essay
This essay will attempt to explain arson by applying the criminological theory of subculture theories.
The Oxford dictionary defines arson as the criminal act of deliberately setting fire to property . Brake
suggests a subculture is like a culture inside of a culture (Brake, 1985). A culture is defined by
Williams as a particular way of life which expressed certain meanings and values not only in art and
learning but also in intuitions and ordinary behaviour (Williams, 2012). Many people such as Albert
Cohen, Cloward, and Ohlin have come

These were called criminal subculture, conflict subculture, and retreatist subculture. Criminal
subcultures tend to arise in areas surrounded by a lot of organized adult crime, this causes young
people to have criminal role models and learn how to commit criminal acts. In these subcultures,
young people can move up the subcultures social hierarchy by committing more crimes. They are
usually concerned with utilitarian crimes which yield a financial reward. Conflict subcultures tend to
arise in areas surrounded by very little organized adult crime, so instead of young people committing
serious monetary crimes, they are instead committing gang related crimes to gain gang reputation.
Retreatist subcultures tend to arise in areas where young people have managed to fail at both the
criminal and conflict subcultures and cam be classed as double failures . These individuals tend to
resolve to drugs and alcohol abuse to soothe the blow dealt by being rejected by the other subcultures.
Arson could fall under a gang related crime, which falls under conflict

Stricter Building Codes
More than 930,000 policyholders in South Florida lost coverage after 11 insurance companies went
bankrupt, caused by more than 600,000 insurance claims filed. This led the Florida Legislature to
create new entities, such as the Joint Underwriting Association, the Florida Windstorm Underwriting
Association, and the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund, in effort to restore adequate insurance
capacity.[95] Stricter building codes were created in Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew. A
survey by Tim Marshall and Richard Herzog of the Haag Engineer Company in Carrollton, Texas,
highlighted several construction issues. On the roof of some homes, the concrete tiles were glued to
felt paper, which could easily be ripped by straight line ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A migration of mostly White families northward to Broward and Palm Beach County was ongoing,
but accelerated after Andrew.[100] Many of these families had used the money they received from
insurance claims to relocate.[101] The population growth was especially noticeable in southwestern
Broward County, where land development was pushed years ahead of schedule .[100] Similar
migration occurred within the Jewish community. Although some areas of Miami Dade County still
have significant Jewish populations, many Jews resettled to Coral Springs, west Fort Lauderdale,
Hallandale Beach, Plantation, and Tamarac in Broward County and Boca Raton and West Palm Beach
in Palm Beach County.[102] The county had a net loss of about 36,000 people in 1992, while Broward
and Palm Beach counties gained about 17,000 and 2,300 Miami Dade County residents, respectively.
[103] By 2001, 230,710 people moved from Miami Dade County to Broward County, while 29,125
Miami Dade County residents moved to Palm Beach County. However, as Broward County became
more crowded, 100,871 people relocated from Broward County to Palm Beach County.[104]
Consequently, the Hispanic population in south Miami Dade County climbed rapidly.[101] In
Homestead, for example, the Latino population increased rose from 30% to 45% between 1990 and
2000.[105] Due to damage to

Brutality in Algeria Essay
In Algeria, an African country, there is a civil war raging. The radicles are ruthless and will do
anything to ensure their victory. Their ultimate goal is to take over the country, to rule it on their own
(Hafez). They were ruthless and heartless and did not care who got in their way. This country has been
struggling to maintain civilization to no prevail. This country has been struggling for quite some time
now it is about time for it to pull itself back together and regroup. If it does not the results could
possibly be catastrophic. The country could fall to the radicles and become a total anarchy. Meaning

This indicated that the radicles were afraid of smart women. Being smart is to be powerful and that is
the opposite of what these terrorist wanted. One woman was speaking out against women being
treated differently and her father was killed that way she had to suffer. Life for women is rough in
Algeria due to them being in this war with the radicle Islamics. The women are much weaker than the
men therefore they believe that women cannot do the same thing that they do, which is where most of
the sexism comes from.During the war women played parts in mostly helping out the troops, also
another reason they were targeted. Women are equal to men regardless of what is said. Most countries
are past this chapter in history and women are not totally equal, but a lot closer than this one. The
women are beaten for not complying with request. Forced to be sex slaves to the radicles they are
captured by. Also being killed for being intelligent or being powerful as well as speaking out against
these crimes. After their capture the radicles work them like dogs doing whatever they ask and when
they are done they either release them or kill them depending on how well they complied. Sometimes
the radicles did not even give the women a chance they simply killed them out of cold blood, just
because they could. The sexism was so bad that some men wouldn t let their wives go outside for fear
of them being snatched up and killed. Along with sexism in Algeria the government is not

When they give orders to subordinates, they give clear instructions, and the subordinates follows them

Signs of Stress in the Police Profession
What issues can be a sign of stress in the police profession and what could be done to help prevent it?
All aspects of any job can be stressful. There are several different factors that can cause stress. The
cause of stress in the police profession is characterized by job related stress and fatigue. According to
Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary (2013), stress in general is a physical, chemical, or emotional
factor that causes bodily or mental tension and may be a factor in disease causation (Full definition of
stress, 1c.). Job stress may involve the type of work your do, your boss, or co workers or your hours
you work. When it comes to job stress, it can take a toll on your productivity, as well as your physical
and emotional health. Job related stress is one of the most common causes of heart disease in the
workplace. However, in my current career as a Deputy Sheriff, I have more stress from work related
issues then the stress that comes from everyday life. Besides the job related stress issues and concerns,
my job is very rewarding to me. I have the opportunity to help people and give them a sense of
security. However, there are times where the workplace is not so rewarding because we are over
worked and under paid. Also the constant changes to the workplace policies and procedures are
designed to benefit the employer instead of the employee is major cause in job stress. These types of
stressful situations may affect police personnel on every level.

Prior to this, I communicated, observed and documented the interests and understandings of the
children at that point in time, which allowed me to create experiences based on the child s preferred
method of learning. The lesson supported both practical and oral forms of learning. For further

How did the Prohibition Change the United States of...
The word Prohibition as stated in the World Book encyclopaedia refers to laws that are designed to
prevent the drinking of alcoholic beverages. The enforcement of the Volstead Act in the United States
of America (USA) saw the nationwide beginning of the prohibition on the 16th of January 1920. The
Prohibition brought about a change in attitude for the people of the United States (USA). It caused an
extreme rise in crime; encouraging everyday people to break the law and increased the amount of
liquor that was consumed nationwide. Overall this law was a failure because a law can not be enforced

The drinking of alcoholic beverages became an act of rebellion against authority from the beginning
of Prohibition, especially among university students and flappers. Alcohol consumption did increase
over Prohibition years, $40 million of liquor had been smuggled into the United States in 1924 alone
and that did not include the amount of alcohol which people made illegally in their own homes, which
was most likely consumed that same year as well. There was a decrease in the consumption of beer,
because it had to be transported in large quantities, which made the substance difficult to hide, as a
result prices of beer and other alcoholic substances which had to be transported in such large
quantities skyrocketed. Once this had happened people began to turn to the more concentrated forms
of alcohol or hard liquors , which were a lot easier to transport and as a consequence they were
cheaper. Due to the increase in consumption of more concentrated forms of alcohol, people got drunk
much faster than in pre prohibition years. Consequently there were more alcohol related deaths during
the Prohibition, due to a rise in alcohol consumption, as people were being poisoned by alcohol that
was highly concentrated and or poisoned. Deaths from poisoned liquor rose from 1,064 in 1920 to
4,154 in 1925.
There are many views as to why the Prohibition failed. One of the main reasons was due to the fact
that a law can not be

American Indian Tribes Research Paper
The myths, stories and purpose of this cluster of stars differs immensely among the American Indian
tribes.
The Blackfoot tribe tells the story of poor boys, riddled by anguish and disgrace, decided to become
stars when their parents were unable to clothe them in yellow buffalo calf robes. The Pleiades not
visible during the spring and summer seasons signified the time for planting seeds and hunting
buffalo.
The Cheyenne tribe tells a different story regarding the star cluster. Legend has it the stars are in fact
puppies born to the Cheyenne Chief s daughter and a dog being (dog in human form) and symbolizes
the love the girl had for the dog being.

British Colonialism
The English colonists were under British rule while in North America before the mid to late 18th
century. They were under such rule considered salutary neglect. This meaning British rule was not
very strict when it came to enforcing their parliamentary laws, which were supposed to keep American
colonies compliant with England. This lead to colonists autonomy developing, what they thought as
the same power, their own legislation. They believed they possessed the same rights as any
Englishman. In the 18th century colonists challenged the authority of the parliament with an
intellectual and a religious movement. The Enlightenment was a time of rejection to received
knowledge, filled with thinkers and searches for laws of nature. The Great Awakening in the 1730 s
was a wave of religious revivals sweeping through the colonies, exploring emotional connections to
God and reasoning behind the church s rule, impacting religious institutions. Americans seemed to
enjoy many freedoms unlike the world around them. They had little sense of unity though and
depended on the British military for protection. Tensions between the French and British grew with
their increasing conflict over Indian alliances. In 1754 the British were threatened by their French and
Indian allies, and responded with the Plan of Albany of which no colonial assemblies approved.
Subsequently in 1763, according to the Americans, the French and Indian war began, and the British
called it the Seven Years War. This war

Global Warming In Canada Essay
Food and shopping are also increasing the effects of global warming. In Canada there are many farms,
food factories, and clothing factories. With all these factories, Canada has many markets and stores
open to sell all of that was produced from the factories. All of the production emits greenhouse gases,
which is one of the reasons global warming is occurring in Canada. The greenhouse gas emissions
from the food and shopping sectors produced by Canada is 4,603 megatons, which is almost 1 percent
of the total greenhouse gas emitted in Canada (2011).
There are many effective strategies that can help lower the greenhouse gas emissions from food and
shopping. One very effective and simple strategy is reusing shopping bags. It takes almost 13 percent

This is the same as saying, that each plastic bottle of one litre requires almost 3.39 megajoules of

greatly to the total greenhouse gas emissions in Canada, and can help reduce the impacts of global
warming in Canada.
Citizens of Canada must effectively use the energy provided to them. Canadians are invigorating

Literary Comparison: In Cold Blood A Good Man is Hard to Find
The crime is defined as the law breaking cruel action committed by the criminals. These criminals
usually have some deep trauma deep in their heart and the sudden bursting of all the negative
sentiments will result in very devastating consequences of hurting other human beings. This essay will
mainly compare Perry Smith in In Cold Blood and Misfit in A Good Man is hard to find, which is both
the main character and the main criminal in the two crime stories. They have a lot of things in
common as a criminal with minor differences. They a are both cynical to the society; They have both
found themselves isolated from the society.
Firstly, Both Perry and Misfit are cynical to the society. The Misfit, in A Good Man Is Hard to Find,
says he was, a different breed of dog from his brothers and sisters (OConner 8), Meanwhile, there is a
revelation that is echoed by Perry Smith in Truman Capote s In Cold Blood: I hate you, all of you Dad
and everybody (Capote 254), He says to his sister, and claims to have a brilliant mind and talent plus
(Capote 281), attributes that set him apart from others. The common ... Show more content on

At the end of A Good Man is Hard to Find, the Misfit reveled his uncertainty about the pleasure with
his meanness to kill the entire family by stating, It s no real pleasure in life (OConner 11). As for In
Cold Blood, Perry also implied to the Dick by his words that he has deep regrets about the crimes they
committed: There`s got to be something wrong with somebody who`d do a thing like that (Capote
108). The reasons for the outcast state of both of these two characters seem to hinge on their inability
to cope with everydayness, or the mundane requirements of existence. Thus, the deep regret of the
criminals is a common trait that the criminal

Integrated Cirriculum Research Paper
Integrated Cirriculum Research Paper
Integrated curriculums are constantly becoming more popular with educators each and every day. It
seems that with this increased enthusiasm there should also be an increased activity of integration
taking place within the classroom. This, however, does not seem to be the case. Math and Science
integration has been widely talked about and supported by educators young and old, but critics state
that there is little evidence to show the effectiveness of integration in the classroom.
The reasons for the integration of subjects in the classroom are many and easily understood.
Mathematics and science can easily be integrated given that mathematics is often the tool for doing
and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, in the midst of this rush to support an integrated curriculum, many educators question the
effectiveness of an integrated curriculum, and they also question the lack of research supporting
integration over traditional curriculum. (Czerniak, 1999)
It seems that a definition for the term integration cannot be easily agreed upon. (Huntley, 1999) In fact
there are so many different terms for integration that it s easy to see why many would question its
effectiveness. The terms include interdisciplinary, thematic, nested, transdisciplinary, integrated,
connected, sequenced, shared, webbed, threaded, immersed, networked, blended, unified, coordinated,
fused, teamed and multidisciplinary. This can only indicate the lack of coherence regarding what is
meant by science and math integration. (Judson 2000) Within these different terms you will also most
likely find different meanings for different educators. Without a clear focused definition we cannot
have a basis for designing, carrying out, and interpreting the results of research. (Czerniak, 1999)
Even if we can get by this lack of definition and see math and science integration at work in the
classroom we might see some of the disadvantages of integration that critics are talking about. One
example is research showing how integration and thematic instruction in math and science is quite
restricting because concepts included are narrowed to a specific framework.

High density lipoprotein or HDL is a good cholesterol. HDL is good for your body because it helps
remove cholesterol from the arteries and protects against dangerous blockages (plaques) in the
arteries. HDL cholesterol is also less likely than other forms of cholesterol to oxidize and leave sticky
plaques on artery walls. HDL particles are more dense than LDL particles, hence the names high
density and low density lipoproteins. HDL acts as a cholesterol scavenger, picking up excess
cholesterol in the blood and taking it back to the liver, where it s broken down. The higher one s HDL

Some of the risks of incinerating waste are that if it s not controlled incineration it could give off
atrocious fumes that are harmful to human life and wildlife. Some of the benefits are that if controlled
can lower waste by a large amount. Cost can sometimes be a gigantic factor in our waste management
because of the machines used to incinerate the trash in a safe way. The fumes from the incineration
can be very dangerous if breathed in because it s just a waste that is harmful already thrown out. This
method will lower and raise pollution at two different rates. It will lower it by destroying all of our
trash at a fast rate and raising pollution by the fumes that can fog up the sky. The skyline of our city
will be affected by the smog that the incineration gives off, but with our filtration system, it can be
stopped. This method is very useful, except that it can also be harmful if not handled properly. The
design of the incineration machine can also play a part in how we can control the fumes that are given
off. Our design is a way to turn the harsh smog back into clean air by filtering the polluted air. The
tradeoffs would decrease because if this design works, then all waste in our city would mostly be
burned and little bits would still be used for recreational uses. This can be a loss of cheap resources
because of our playgrounds and benches we will have to use wood and plastic which cannot be cheap.
We can save a decent amount of waste for recreational use in the future. If we save some of the waste
instead of incinerating it all we can have a huge impact on our city s budget. The only engineering
impact that would be more important would be making specific factories for the production of
recycled material equipment. The engineering disciplines that we are using are industrial for

is defined as the invention must not have previously existed in any way or have been used by other
individuals. For an inventor to prove novelty they must also prove the invention has not been

These lyrics from Elvis Presley s hit song Jailhouse Rock clearly illustrate how teenagers reacted to
his new brand of music, Rock n Roll in the 1950s. Elvis and his music came in a time when the baby
boomers were teenagers and beginning to identify themselves and discover music. The civil rights

It is not commonly known that the Mafia invested in the Stonewall Inn in 1966, turning it into a gay
bar. Located at 51 and 53 Christopher Street, the Stonewall Inn was owned by the Genovese crime
family. In 1966, three members of the Mafia invested $3,500 to turn the Stonewall Inn into a gay bar.
Previously, it served as a typical nightclub and restaurant for heterosexuals. Like many things the
mafia was involved in, much of the legality and dealings were under the table. Once a week, a police
officer would come collect envelopes full of cash as payoffs. The Stonewall Inn also had no liquor

bar and no fire exits. Used bar glasses were ran through large tubs of water and then reused. The bar
was supposedly not used for any illegal transactions. Thigs such as prostitution or drug deals were
prohibited. This was simply a place for gay men in New York City to dance. There were virtually no
places in the city where gay men could do so. This led to be The Stonewalls re opening as a gay club.
Like all gay bar s in New York, police raids were very common. The raids were a police crackdown on
bars operating without a liquor license. Although the police raids were legally justified, the gay
community had grown weary of the police targeting gay clubs and bars. Many of these establishments
had already been shut down. Like many of the gay bars and

families to survive they would sell their children to master sweeps, or master sweeps would welcome

their small frames were more desirable. Even though The Chimney Sweeper (1789) and The Chimney

Romania preserved a significant number of traditional customs and celebrations manifest within the
strong community of the village. Ceremonies dedicated to the significant moments of one s life (birth,
wedding, death), to natural cycles (such as solstice, equinox, harvest, springtime) or to the big
religious celebrations, follow the same archaic mythical rituals they did a thousand years ago. Even
though preformed in 21st century in villages marked by modernization, such traditional rites haven t

environment and community, that the present social and economical system cannot furnish.
During winter solstice, when the sun is weak and frost and dryness take over, Romanian peasants
conceived ceremonies to help the Sun and Nature to overcome this temporary crisis. For 12 days

Unsuccessful employees are products of unsuccessful employers (Draft 2)
As a child, I believed I would pirouette my way to become the top ballerina at the American Ballet
Theatre, but I was unaware of my title as the worst dancer in the studio. My pride, and my dream, was
soon destroyed as I watched myself fumbling across the stage on tape. I was thus under the cognitive
bias of the Dunning Kruger Effect. This effect also exists in other environments besides in a children s
dance class, such as work environment relationships. In Mark Murphy s article, The Dunning Kruger
Shows Why Some People Think They re Great Even When Their Work is Terrible, it explains that
incompetent workers tend to overestimate their work abilities because they are ... Show more content

In other words, they overestimate their work abilities. Most employers tend to blame incompetence to
the workers inability to take constructive criticism. To illustrate this belief, in a study of over 10,000
workers, only 39% could accept constructive criticism and learn to adjust their work performance
(Murphy, 2017). The low percentage of workers accepting criticism leds to the assumption that their
work confidence stems from their inability to accept that their work needs to improve. On the
contrary, there are workers who can accept criticism, but continue to underperform since they assume
their work is acceptable enough to continue. Managers have encouraged this assumption, caused by
the Dunning Kruger Effect, by not informing their employees of their poor work performance. These
unskilled workers have worked without much correction to the point that they automatically assume
they are good enough that they don t need to be corrected. To better explain, it would be like a child
continuing to misbehave as a custom because they were not taught the proper way to act. In other
words, without correct, an act will continue to repeat

Essay On Youtube
Social media is blowing up everywhere and it s opening up new job opportunities for those all around
the world. In one corner of the social media platform list, is a site called YouTube. This website was
created in February of 2005 by the founders Jawed Karim, Chad Hurley, and Steve Chen in order to
help the world find videos on only one easy site. Youtube has blown up since then and is worth around
26 40 billion dollars all because of the creators making videos on the site. The makers of the videos on
the site can now call YouTube their stable job, as long as they have a big enough following of
subscribers. Some YouTubers are famous and have a big fan base that watch every video of theirs no
matter what it is, but you don t just get ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most Youtubers have a schedule on when they post videos, like they try to post on tuesday and friday
every week. Everyone has their own schedule, I mean some post every weekday while others post
about once a month. So having a concrete agenda for your subscribers to follow is a great plan.
Staying true to that schedule and planning it all out is a great control mechanism to use as a YouTuber.
This could entail setting reminders every once in awhile to make sure you don t forget to record that
weeks video. Or you could take a day to plan out video ideas for the whole month and when you will
post them. This mechanism is important to being a successful YouTuber because having those daily
videos all planned out will assure you of a daily paycheck. It will also show your subscribers that you
are dedicated to the channel and their needs. Plus it might lead you to a good reputation because you
will seem as a very organized individual in having a timely schedule.
There are websites on the internet that can help you observe everything about your subscriber count
and demographics. Keeping up to date on those sort of things will really give you that understanding
of your fans that you need in order to flourish. Your able to look at how many subscribers you have
and a pie chart of their ages, genders, and wearabouts. It really helps you get down to the core and see

Examples Of Appeasement
Appeasement was merely a catalyst that aids in the materialization of Hitler s ambitions which was the
main driving force to Hitler s expansionist policies. Appeasement is a policy of making material
concessions to an enemy power which is Adolf Hitler, the dictator of Germany in this context in order
to avoid conflict and maintain peace. Main driving force can also be defined as the biggest motivation
for Hitler to pursue his expansionist policies which is his ideas of establishing Lebenstraum and
Greater Germany. Thus, appeasement to a small extent, is the main driving force behind Hitler s
expansionist policies.
Firstly, the main driving force behind Hitler s expansionist policies is his personal ambition. Hitler s
vengeance towards Treaty ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Appeasement made Hitler bolder in his expansionist policies. An example of appeasement is the
Reoccupation of Rhineland. When Hitler ordered his soldiers to march into Rhineland, breaching the
terms of TOV, France was prepared to force Hitler back down if Britain agreed to support her.
However, Britain wanted to avoid going to war by all means so Britain appease Hitler by not doing
anything to force him to back down. France believed that there were 295,000 men stationed in
Rhineland which in reality was a bluff and was not confident of fighting Germany alone so she backed
away. Thus, Hitler was able to invade Rhineland. The appeasement made it an easy way for Hitler to
acquire more land even though he did not have enough soldiers because even countries like France
and British believed that Germany s military was that strong and were willing to give in easily to
Hitler s demand. Also, appeasement resulted Hitler to become even bolder in his expansionist policies
by demanding more lands as he knew that Britain and France was the most unwilling to fight a war
and would not put a stop to his actions even if it means breaking the international law. Thus,
appeasement was a small driving force behind Hitler s expansionist

Analysis Of The Arguments For Atheism
Theism or Atheism
By Sam Heney
This essay will discuss some of the arguments for theism and will rebutt them from an atheist s point
of view. Atheism is simply the rejection of the belief in the existence of deities whereas theism is the
opposite. There have been indications of theism stretching back to very early Homo sapiens with
evidence of rituals and superstitions. The dead were buried ceremoniously showing the belief in some
kind of afterlife. Atheism is seemingly a lot more uncommon throughout history with very little
evidence of our ancient ancestors ever lacking some kind of belief in a higher presence. This debate
has been going mainly since the Renaissance period but made great progress after the first and second
world wars. Between ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I would write this essay with arguments for atheism but that would be counter productive as the entire
point of theism is that it is suggesting the existence of a deity and therefore it is a theist s burden to
provide evidence and/or proof of the deity s existence. Presented in this essay are four of some of the
most commonly used arguments for theism (not including arguments that rely purely on faith) and
rebuttals to each argument.
Firstly I will introduce a very popular argument for theism is that there can not be a causeless cause;
someone must have caused the universe to come into existence. Of course the natural response to this
is to ask; who caused God to come into existence? This argument is obviously internally inconsistent.
Next I will put forth an argument for theism known as the Argument from Design . This common
argument suggests that complex things such as watches and televisions are created by intelligent
people. Surely the intricacy of life spawning from simple DNA, as well as the other examples of
complexity in the universe also imply the influence of an intelligence? A rebuttal to this argument
would be that god is certainly complex, so who created him? If one says that he has always existed,
then why can t one instead say that the universe (and life) have always existed? Besides, there are
clear examples of lackluster design in nature. For example the human eye has a blind spot when it
could have been designed like the squid s (that doesn t have

The Voyager Golden Record
The Voyager Golden Record is a record consisting of multiple messages which was put onto the
Voyager spacecraft, launched in 1977. On these records were information consisting of sounds,
images, and words which were deemed worthy by a NASA committee to be presented to
extraterrestrial life if they were to ever come across this record (NASA). The purpose of these records
is to give information and later with Voyager 1 and 2, tell stories of life on Earth to other life that may
one day come across these records. In the record there are songs from cultural past times, both east
and west, which was a nice addition to the record for extraterrestrial life. These songs hone in not
necessarily on the aspect of language, like that of the 55 different language greetings, but more on the
sounds, history, and culture of our world. These songs tell a story of our changing history and of our
pass times and one does not have to know the specific language of the song in order to enjoy the
music. The fifty five different language ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The sounds of birds, trees, waves, thunder, etc. These sounds make up the very essence of our Earth
and were on Earth way before humans ever existed most likely, so to incorporate these sounds which
are often correlated with peace and relaxation was a good idea. Including some images to represent the
most prominent natural sounds would also be beneficial so that there is an image to the sound that the
extraterrestrial is hearing. Adding natural images to correlate the sounds would help paint a picture of
key beings on Earth and it would be interesting if an extraterrestrial resonated with one of the images
as if they recognize or have something similar on their place of residence. Utilizing nature as a
message on the golden record is a good way to portray information of our Earth while still maintaining
a peaceful demeanor and stance ith another potential life

  • 2. Essay on PSY Final I discovered my grandfather had cancer. No matter how much I told myself he could live, that he might not die, somehow I still felt there was no way for him to get better. He was so young, only 63. He fought so hard. Whenever I feel my own life taking a turn for the worse, as if things will never get better, I remember how many years he lived fighting such a scary and difficult disease. The psychological stages that are typical during the grieving process are denial (The No, not me stage), anger (The Why me? stage), bargaining (The If I do this, you ll do that stage), depression (The It s really happened stage), and the acceptance (The This is what happened stage). My grandpa was very accepting of what was happening, there wasn t really anything he can do about it he just had do take it day by day. Overall, I d say the stage theory is pretty accurate and realistic. Question #2 My stage of development would be young adulthood. According to Erikson, the crisis I m experiencing is intimacy vs. isolation which is learning to make personal commitment to another s such as a spouse, parent or partner. The Intimacy vs. Isolation conflict is emphasized around the ages of 20 to 34. I d say this stage is pretty accurate. This stage of development has a bunch stressors and issues. In this stage of being an adult we seek one or more companions and love. As we try to find mutually satisfying relationships, primarily through marriage and friends, we generally also begin to start a family, though this age has been pushed back for many couples who today don t start their families until their late thirties. If this stage is successful, we can experience intimacy on a deep level. If we re not successful, isolation and distance from others may occur. And when we don t find it easy to create satisfying relationships, our world can begin to shrink as, in defense, we can feel superior to others. There s nothing really highlighting about what I m going through with this stage of development. Everyone in the world will go through this stage; it s a part of life. I really don t have to worry about the next developmental stage just yet; I still ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

While there are many different Native American religious practices, most address the following areas of supernatural concern: an omnipresent, invisible universal force, pertaining to the three life crises of birth, puberty, and death , spirits, visions, the medicine people and communal ceremony. They were mostly young men and boys escaping poverty by sailing towards the bright light of America. Some came to avoid the compulsory three year military service in the Greek army where a peasant youth could seldom rise above a menial. A great many came from those parts of Greece still under Ottoman domination which conscripted Greek youths into the dreaded Turkish infantry. From Ellis Island they made their way about the streets of New York, searching for someone with the same ethnic characteristics as their own who could help them find work. Sometimes they wandered about, lost in the city s maze, until a labor agent, through signs, offered them work in mills, factories, or road gangs elsewhere. The more fortunate ones, who knew countrymen already working in the textile cities, went directly to them. • 4. Effects Of Turbiridity Due On Land Use 1)Effects of turbiridity due to land use changes Turbidity measures the amount of light scattered from a sample and more suspended particles causes more scattering results in high turbidity. Turbidity measurements are often used as indicator of water quality based on clarity and total suspended solid particles. Turbidity doesn t include the dissolved solids which reduces the scattering. In agricultural lands the receiving water is contaminated by nonpoint pollution due to different agricultural activities like crop production, cattle operations, crop pattern and rangelands. High rates of surface runoff and erosion of land covered by annual crops have high levels of turbidity in receiving water specially in spring when vegetation cover is minimal. Wetlands used in removal of bacterial contamination in rivers , act as biofilter which increases the turbidity. Turbidity is negatively related with the forested areas and positively with the annual crops and urban land use. Annual crops have more turbidity than the perennial crops.so the when annual crops are converted into the forested areas perennial crops pastures cause 16.4% of turbidity. It is studied that stabilization of urban land through reforestation practices increases in water quality due to the high turbidity. Protection of water resources through land use policy is essential. 2)forest soils have high rate of infiltration Infiltration is known as the movement of water in soil profile occure in ... GM is described as an organization with a dysfunctional company culture that somehow still manages to have amazing results in its work, on a global scale. The key attributes of GM, were primarily in the changes initiated by Mary Barra after the GM ignition switch recall crisis. Some of those attributes include her willingness to openly acknowledge the undesirable aspects of the GM culture and her efforts to take action towards a resolution. There are also several noticeable strengths and weaknesses within the organization. One of the biggest weaknesses is the company s repeated inability to acknowledge that, lack of functional culture and leadership are truly the root cause of the company s issues. Based on my reading I would describe the current behavioral organizational model as a Custodial Model. I chose this model because the managerial orientation is money, employee orientation is security and benefits and performance results are passive cooperation. All of these attributes were described in the reading. Below are the four models that compare the current behavioral organizational model used above to other models. I. Autocratic Model 1. Depends on power. 2. Managerial orientation is authority. 3. Employee orientation is obedience. 4. Employee psychological result depends on the boss. 5. Employee needs met is subsistence. 6. Performance result is minimal. Example: Military/ Soldiers. II. Supportive Model 1. Depends on leadership. 2. Managerial orientation is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Alcohol consumption did increase over Prohibition years, $40 million of liquor had been smuggled into the United States in 1924 alone and that did not include the amount of alcohol which people made illegally in their own homes, which was most likely consumed that same year as well. There was a decrease in the consumption of beer, because it had to be transported in large quantities, which made the substance difficult to hide, as a result prices of beer and other alcoholic substances which had to be transported in such large quantities skyrocketed. This lead to colonists autonomy developing, what they thought as the same power, their own legislation. They believed they possessed the same rights as any Englishman. Oct. 31th, 2017 Literary Comparison: In Cold Blood A Good Man is Hard to Find The crime is defined as the law breaking cruel action committed by the criminals. These criminals usually have some deep trauma deep in their heart and the sudden bursting of all the negative sentiments will result in very devastating consequences of hurting other human beings. This essay will mainly compare Perry Smith in In Cold Blood and Misfit in A Good Man is hard to find, which is both the main character and the main criminal in the two crime stories. They have a lot of things in common as a criminal with minor differences. They a are both cynical to the society; They have both found themselves isolated from the society. Firstly, Both Perry and Misfit are cynical to the society. The Misfit, in A Good Man Is Hard to Find, says he was, a different breed of dog from his brothers and sisters (OConner 8), Meanwhile, there is a revelation that is echoed by Perry Smith in Truman Capote s In Cold Blood: I hate you, all of you Dad and everybody (Capote 254), He says to his sister, and claims to have a brilliant mind and talent plus (Capote 281), attributes that set him apart from others. It seems that with this increased enthusiasm there should also be an increased activity of integration taking place within the classroom. This, however, does not seem to be the case. Math and Science integration has been widely talked about and supported by educators young and old, but critics state that there is little evidence to show the effectiveness of integration in the classroom. However, in the midst of this rush to support an integrated curriculum, many educators question the effectiveness of an integrated curriculum, and they also question the lack of research supporting integration over traditional curriculum. (Czerniak, 1999) It seems that a definition for the term integration cannot be easily agreed upon. (Huntley, 1999) In fact there are so many different terms for integration that it s easy to see why many would question its effectiveness. The terms include interdisciplinary, thematic, nested, transdisciplinary, integrated, connected, sequenced, shared, webbed, threaded, immersed, networked, blended, unified, coordinated, fused, teamed and multidisciplinary. This can only indicate the lack of coherence regarding what is meant by science and math integration. (Judson 2000) Within these different terms you will also most likely find different meanings for different educators. Without a clear focused definition we cannot have a basis for designing, carrying out, and interpreting the results of research. (Czerniak, 1999) Even if we can get by this lack of definition and see math and science integration at work in the classroom we might see some of the disadvantages of integration that critics are talking about. One example is research showing how integration and thematic instruction in math and science is quite restricting because concepts included are narrowed to a specific framework. ... • 40. Examples Of Appeasement Appeasement was merely a catalyst that aids in the materialization of Hitler s ambitions which was the main driving force to Hitler s expansionist policies. Appeasement is a policy of making material concessions to an enemy power which is Adolf Hitler, the dictator of Germany in this context in order to avoid conflict and maintain peace. Main driving force can also be defined as the biggest motivation for Hitler to pursue his expansionist policies which is his ideas of establishing Lebenstraum and Greater Germany. Thus, appeasement to a small extent, is the main driving force behind Hitler s expansionist policies. Firstly, the main driving force behind Hitler s expansionist policies is his personal ambition. Hitler s vengeance towards Treaty ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Appeasement made Hitler bolder in his expansionist policies. An example of appeasement is the Reoccupation of Rhineland. When Hitler ordered his soldiers to march into Rhineland, breaching the terms of TOV, France was prepared to force Hitler back down if Britain agreed to support her. However, Britain wanted to avoid going to war by all means so Britain appease Hitler by not doing anything to force him to back down. France believed that there were 295,000 men stationed in Rhineland which in reality was a bluff and was not confident of fighting Germany alone so she backed away. Thus, Hitler was able to invade Rhineland. The appeasement made it an easy way for Hitler to acquire more land even though he did not have enough soldiers because even countries like France and British believed that Germany s military was that strong and were willing to give in easily to Hitler s demand. Also, appeasement resulted Hitler to become even bolder in his expansionist policies by demanding more lands as he knew that Britain and France was the most unwilling to fight a war and would not put a stop to his actions even if it means breaking the international law. • 41. Analysis Of The Arguments For Atheism Theism or Atheism By Sam Heney This essay will discuss some of the arguments for theism and will rebutt them from an atheist s point of view. Atheism is simply the rejection of the belief in the existence of deities whereas theism is the opposite. There have been indications of theism stretching back to very early Homo sapiens with evidence of rituals and superstitions. The dead were buried ceremoniously showing the belief in some kind of afterlife. Atheism is seemingly a lot more uncommon throughout history with very little evidence of our ancient ancestors ever lacking some kind of belief in a higher presence. This debate has been going mainly since the Renaissance period but made great progress after the first and second world wars. Between ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I would write this essay with arguments for atheism but that would be counter productive as the entire point of theism is that it is suggesting the existence of a deity and therefore it is a theist s burden to provide evidence and/or proof of the deity s existence. Presented in this essay are four of some of the most commonly used arguments for theism (not including arguments that rely purely on faith) and rebuttals to each argument. Firstly I will introduce a very popular argument for theism is that there can not be a causeless cause; someone must have caused the universe to come into existence. Of course the natural response to this is to ask; who caused God to come into existence? This argument is obviously internally inconsistent. Next I will put forth an argument for theism known as the Argument from Design . This common argument suggests that complex things such as watches and televisions are created by intelligent people. Surely the intricacy of life spawning from simple DNA, as well as the other examples of complexity in the universe also imply the influence of an intelligence? A rebuttal to this argument would be that god is certainly complex, so who created him? If one says that he has always existed, then why can t one instead say that the universe (and life) have always existed? Besides, there are clear examples of lackluster design in nature. For example the human eye has a blind spot when it could have been designed like the squid s (that doesn t have ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 42. The Voyager Golden Record The Voyager Golden Record is a record consisting of multiple messages which was put onto the Voyager spacecraft, launched in 1977. On these records were information consisting of sounds, images, and words which were deemed worthy by a NASA committee to be presented to extraterrestrial life if they were to ever come across this record (NASA). The purpose of these records is to give information and later with Voyager 1 and 2, tell stories of life on Earth to other life that may one day come across these records. In the record there are songs from cultural past times, both east and west, which was a nice addition to the record for extraterrestrial life. These songs hone in not necessarily on the aspect of language, like that of the 55 different language greetings, but more on the sounds, history, and culture of our world. These songs tell a story of our changing history and of our pass times and one does not have to know the specific language of the song in order to enjoy the music. The fifty five different language ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The sounds of birds, trees, waves, thunder, etc. These sounds make up the very essence of our Earth and were on Earth way before humans ever existed most likely, so to incorporate these sounds which are often correlated with peace and relaxation was a good idea. Including some images to represent the most prominent natural sounds would also be beneficial so that there is an image to the sound that the extraterrestrial is hearing. Adding natural images to correlate the sounds would help paint a picture of key beings on Earth and it would be interesting if an extraterrestrial resonated with one of the images as if they recognize or have something similar on their place of residence. Utilizing nature as a message on the golden record is a good way to portray information of our Earth while still maintaining a peaceful demeanor and stance ith another potential life ...
