My magazine making skills have greatly improved since my preliminary task due to researching existing magazines, analyzing their conventions and styles, and gaining a better understanding of my target audience's interests. Feedback from my target audience has also helped guide decisions about the magazine's title, style, and content, which has strengthened my production abilities compared to assuming what readers would like without any feedback.

Creating something related to marketing will allow them to explore different techniques that could help in the future. The goal is to create an eye-catching poster that draws people in and makes them want to purchase the product. An initial idea is a bright, colorful poster that would appeal to teenage girls, but research including a survey will help determine the best design. A poster was chosen over a commercial due to time constraints of the 16 week project.
