This report is about the social customs in America, Vietnam and China. Social
customs include actions and behaviors that are expected of a particular culture, and
people could learn the particular culture via its social customs. We introduced four
aspects in the report: dining etiquette, gift presenting etiquette, festival celebration
and the wedding process. We tried to represent all three of these cultures in all of the
aspects of the report. The Chinese and Vietnamese cultures are quite similar in these
areas, but these two cultures differ greatly from the American culture. From these
aspects, we can learn how different the American culture, Vietnamese culture and
Chinese culture are. We used primary sources such as an interview, a survey, and
our own personal experiences to form this report. We also used secondary sources

soldier would jump out of a plane and release a parachute to land behind enemy

and one of the most thought provoking stories I have read in a while. The story
takes place inside an old pompous bank building. Anders, a book critic, cannot
make it to the bank until right before closing time so, of course, the line is long
and the women he gets stuck waiting in line behind puts him in the worst mood
possible. Anders is a man who has critiqued the beauty out of life and in turn has let
it turn him bitter. Anders could not be any more irritated while waiting in line

The term The Negro Problem was used throughout the 1950 s and 60 s as a slang
description of the racial tension between black and white Americans. The two essays
in The Fire Next Time talk about the problem that the African Americancommunity
faced, but from different perspectives. The author is writing to his nephew and is
trying to make him understand that the situation is intolerable and not likely to
change. He suggests that instead of reacting from a place of anger and hate, that the
nephew should fight and strive to change the situation rather than confronting it
violently. That his nephew and even the community as a whole should try to almost
outsmart the whites by being the opposite of what they think of them. To prove them
wrong and hopefully change the way they are looked at. He suggests a change of
attitudes on both sides, to spread love and understanding instead of hate and
animosity.

In this experiment it was found that the higher the salt concentration in a solution, the
lower the mass of the Beetroot. As water travels out of the extracellular environment
by Osmosis, the Cell began to dehydrate and signs of cell Lysis occurred. Though
Colorimeter reading results were recorded, they did not align with the mass of the
Beetroot data and were classified inaccurate. Reviewing the results there was no
consistent trend in the data (eg. as the salt content increased by 1% the mass loss
decreased by 0.5g). It could only be stated that as the salt concentration was increased

of the south in no way wanted to display any kind of compassion for a fellow woman
