This week I took care of a patient who had surgery for a paraesophageal hernia. She
was three days post operation by the time I started providing care. By this time, she
only had a urinary catheter and g tube. The g tube was exciting because I was able

patient also had dementia. She was disoriented to time, place, and situation. While
I have taken care of multiple people with dementia in various stages, I found parts

patient teaching. Every time the patient looked down she would see the tubes. She
asked what they were for and I explained that they were to help with feeding until
her throat felt better and to collect her urine. This was difficult for her because she

Theme Of Gender In The Mahabharata
Composed ages ago, The Mahabharata still continues to be retold in various literary,
graphic and visual media. In the hands of the postcolonial Indian English novelist the
mythological past takes different shapes. Unlike retellings of previous centuries,
these novels do not view the epic as a mere tussle between dharma and adharma.
They re narrate their past but from a different perspective. They demolish authority,
stereotypes, icons and sexist values. This paper seeks to examine how notions of
gender are subverted and notions of victimhood and agency are playfully dealt with,
in these modern retellings of The Mahabharata. This paper will be dealing with two

replicate inside the host bacterium. The MCS is located within the lacZ gene and
contains unique sites for the Xbal EcoRI restirction enzymes to cut and produce
sticky ends for the CIH 1 gene to bind to. Furthermore, the pUC19 plasmid also
contains an ampiccilin resistance gene so only transforemed E.coli are able to
remain viable when spread on the agar plates that also has the addition of ampiccilin.
The lacZ gene encodes the ОІ galactosidase enzyme which aids in indentifying the
recombinant E.coli from the non recombinant cells (Coventry University 2016). The
addition of 5 bromo 4 chloro 3 indoyl ОІ thiogalactoside (X gal) in the agar mix acts
as an artifical substrate for the enzyme so it produces blue E.coli colonies when
hydrolised by the ОІ galactosidase meaning those specific colonies do not contain the

Now I can see that these were signs I was starting my first depressive episode. I was

Descriptive Essay On The Virtual Museum
I toured the virtual Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Though it
was not face to face, I still really enjoyed my experience through the virtual word. I
was more fascinated about the liveliness in the virtual world than anything else. I
think the virtual museum itself was more of a work of art than the art it displayed
because it covered almost every inch from many different points of view in the
museum. I also liked how it was pretty easy to operate and move around, and no
matter how much I zoomed in or out I could read almost everything perfectly fine.
While being able to explore this museum from the comfort of my own home was a
plus, I truly missed out on being able to read the display labels to learn more about
the artifacts. Reading about the history or story behind a work of art is, in my
opinion, the best part. This virtual tour was captivating, and I hope to someday
visit the museum in person. The Smithsonian is known for its realization and
absolute beauty shown in the exhibits. Every exhibit of this museum has great
detail and precision. Not only was each exhibit filled with things of its nature, but
also had the right colors to make you feel the exhibit. For example, the vibes
flowing from the ocean hall were incredible. The way they accomplished the feel of
actually being in the ocean was a surreal experience to even see through the screen. I
