Microteaching is a system of controlled practice that allows teachers to focus on specific teaching skills and practice under controlled conditions. It involves practicing various teaching skills like writing objectives, introducing lessons, explaining concepts, using examples and illustrations, incorporating audio-visual aids, asking probing questions, varying teaching methods, solving problems, managing classrooms, assessing students and giving homework. The goal is to help teachers develop and refine their teaching abilities.
