• According to Gage, "Teaching is a form of
interpersonal influence aimed at changing
the behavior potential of another person.“
• Edmund Amidon defined it as-" Teaching is
an interactive process, primarily involving
class room talk which takes place between
teacher and pupil and occurs during certain
definable activity."

to provide instruction to different students of
different abilities while incorporating instructional
objectives and assessing the effective learning
mode of the students.
