I think that I will become a lot more creative from doing this project as I think it will help me
create more unique styles and house styles because that is what this project is based on. We
need to create a professional high standard unique product which I think will help my creativity.
I also think that I will learn a lot within Photoshop when it comes to the colours and changing
the image. I would like to learn a lot more about making an old image look more original
because that is what we are going to need to learn and I think it will be good for the future
because I will then be able to come up with more unique ideas for different pieces of work. To
challenge myself I am going to try making my product as unique as I can because I find it hard to
come up with something that I have created myself.
What technical opportunities for development are available in this project? What technical
challenges could you set yourself? You can refer to your previous experience here.
I think that many different technical opportunities will come with doing this project, such as
photography and Photoshop skills. I think that doing this project will help my skills within
Photoshop a lot because I will need to make my work to a high professional standard. To
challenge my self I am going to try doing more photography so I can improve my skills because I
know basic skills but I was to get a lot better. I also want to try something different with my
photography or if I don’t do any of my own photography I would like to do something unique
with Photoshop.
How could the skills you are using and developing here be useful in a professional context?
Consider the requirements for different job roles.
It is professional because we are working from and developing a brief and that is what a lot of
professional working people would do so they know exactly what they are suppose to be doing,
so doing this now will help us in the future if we ever need to work against a brief. We are also
taking an original brand and developing it to our own unique house style and we are creating
something of our own to a professional standard. Doing this will help us when it comes to doing
other projects such as web designing, graphic design, copywriting and marketing.
What opportunities for designing for different media does this project give you? Which final
product type interests you the most and why?
Doing this project will help me in the future when it comes to making web adverts, posters or
other styles of adverting. As this is an advertising project I am able to pick any type of advert to
do and I think that which ever one I choose will increase my skills for the future. I think that the
most interesting advert I could do would be a web advert where it is animated.
