What creative opportunities can you see in this project? How could you challenge yourself
creatively in this project? You can refer to your previous experience here.
In this project I can challenge myself creatively through the creation of the drink. I need to
come up with a whole energy drink concept and design the packaging and the drink name etc…
This will give me the opportunity to be involved in coming up with a name, which will mean
creative experimenting with different words. I have done some creativity like this before when
we created recipe cards and we had to come up with creative titles so I already have some
experience but this time I get to be a lot more free and can come up with something from
scratch. This is giving me the opportunity to release4 lots of ideas and is very creative. When
creating the packaging I can challenge myself creatively this is by using Photoshop to use tools
that I have not used before. I have used Photoshop creatively in the past and used tools to
create designs such as a book and a t-shirt design in previous projects. This time I can use
Photoshop and used tools that I would not normally use and this will give me the opportunity
to excel creatively in Photoshop where I have not before.
What technical opportunities for development are available in this project? What technical
challenges could you set yourself? You can refer to your previous experience here.
I am going to set myself the technical challenge of using more tools on Photoshop when
creating my design than I would normally use. I am going to try and be a lot more creative and
stop playing safe with the use of Photoshop and just sticking to tools like polygonlasso and
saturation etc… I want to develop my skills in this area and I feel like this project could help me
do this because there is a lot of designing that needs producing. I am also going to set myself a
challenge to create gift. I have done this on Photoshop yet and I think creating a web banner
could a be a great opportunity to master a technical skill. I am going to challenge myself to do
this and create a web banner with a gift.
How could the skills you are using and developing here be useful in a professional context?

The skills that I will be developing here will be very useful in professional context and what I
want to do when I have finished this. Photoshop is a skill that I can use in the work place
because in Media it is used by many different roles. Being a creative designer would use
Photoshop as they would design what they were making on this. I love magazines and using the
skill for Photoshop would be very useful in this area for magazine page design. I could use
Photoshop when designing the pages for the magazine and editing images for a magazine. As
my skills in Photoshop are developing this would make me stronger at creating a magazine
page layout. I also am developing my creativity skills as I am coming up with my own ideas. This
would help me be a journalist because it is preparing me to have a more creative mind when
creating and putting a story together for a magazine. I am using creativity skills a lot through
this project.
What opportunities for designing for different media does this project give you? Which final
product type interests you the most and why?
This project gives me three opportunities for designing different medias. This is what the brief
requires. I am designing a web banner, TV advertisement and Print advertisement. These are all
totally different types of media and I think that they are all really effective as they target the
same audience in different ways. I am mostly looking forward to creating the print
advertisement. As I take a large interest in magazines. I feel like a print advert will allow me to
be the most creative. I already have some ideas for the print advert. This will be the most
