Main area of activity:
I will be mostly working in Web Design with some Photography and Advertisement (Printand Video).
Rationale:
For my music video,I learned how to use Premiere Pro at a basic level with some more advanced aspects
such as the bluescreen effect. I will be usingPremiere Pro for my advert and possibly usingthebluescreen
effect for the photo shoot if I want to change the background. For my adventure project, I gained some
more editing skills,someexperience on prints and layouts for different adverts. I will usethese skillsfor the
advertisement and layoutof the website.
Overall,I will beableto use aspects from my own knowledge and from what I have learntto create a high-
quality projectwhilstlearningnewskills.
Project Concept:
The concept of my project is a clothingbrand with the message of spreadingpositivity and to help people
with their mental health as lockdown has affected many people. I am goingto make a brand with a logo
and a website where the branded products will be sold.I will also printsome t-shirts with my design and
then do a photo shoot for the website as I will need some main images for the home page and some
examples for the product pages. Next, I will createan advert for my brand which will bea shortvideo
promoting the launch of the brand.I will useAdobe After Effects to add some unique features for the
advert as I want to make ita modern and advanced piece of work.
For my research I will need to have a look at layouts,websites, adverts and entrepreneurs such as Tim
Sladeand Jules Leaver, the founders of Fat Face. I will havea look at what is needed for creating a brand,
what is needed for creating a website and what is needed for creating an advert. After this I will look at
layouts for the website as I want a simpleand easy design to navigatearound. It will also beuseful to
research on the best way to printthe products for my photo shoot so I can create my designs ata small
cost.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed?
I will be reviewing my project with a weekly diary which will bea daily diary when I am in the production
stage in a few weeks. This will help for me to adaptany improvements needed for the rest of the project as
I would want to fix itsooner rather than later.At the end of the project, I will beevaluating each aspect
and then the projectas a whole.
Both evaluations will enableme to improve my work in this project,but also help to improve my work for
the rest of the course.
