In my project I can make different types of products so that they vary. I can do each one in a
few different ways and pick out a final one that I prefer. I can use Photoshop to create the best
products I can and make them the most effective I can.
What technical opportunities for development are available in this project? What technical
challenges could you set yourself? You can refer to your previous experience here.
My Photoshop skills will be developed in this project. In my last project, they developed a lot
but there is still room for more improvements. Also my page layout skills could be developed,
as it’s never too clear what I’m going to create from the drafts. I am setting myself a challenge
to learn new Photoshop skills.
How could the skills you are using and developing here be useful in a professional context?
Consider the requirements for different job roles.
They could help me get a job if I keep practicing and learning more things on professional
programmes such as Photoshop. A lot of work places need people who can do proper research,
which I did at the start of my project. Advertisement need people who can make good products
that have the same house styles and pass the ASA so that it isn’t offensive.
What opportunities for designing for different media does this project give you? Which final
product type interests you the most and why?
This project could give me the opportunities to create e-media by making a web page advert,
and print media by creating my poster and can designs. The one that interests me the most is
the advert as I feel I can be most creative in this one and can develop my ideas over and over
again.
