responsibilities to work together for the

 To utilize the better talent and interest of teachers .
CHARACTERISTICS
 Team teaching is a format type of co- operative
staff organization .
 In team teaching a group of teachers
undertake the task of teaching.
 Team teaching results in improved
instruction.
 In team teaching a group of teachers
consider the need of the learners.
PRINCIPLES
 Size and composition of the group for team teaching
should be appropriate in terms of learning experience
and purposes of the group.
 Learning climate should be provided by making
arrangements like laboratory , library audio etc.
 Level of team teaching must be appropriate
to the learners.
PROCEDURES
 Planning stage: Topic, objectives, initial and terminal
behaviour of learners, teaching aids, fixing of the level
of instruction and evaluation technique.
 Execution stage: Diagnosing the learner’s previous
knowledge ,follow up activities.
 Evaluation stage: Based on the objectives evaluate
whether the student have achieved it.
