Summary of water cycle
1. Summary of water cycle
Water is the most precious natural resource on earth. It is then amoral imperative that water be
preserved for our future survival. The water cycle is the journey that water takes as it circulates from
the land to the sky and back again. Water travels and moves in many different ways. The water
cycle is made up of a few main parts. Evaporation is the water vapor or steam leaves the river, lake
or ocean and goes into the air it is also assisted by plants because plants transpire. Transpiration
gives evaporation a bit of a hand in getting the water vapor back into air. Condensation is also part
of water cycle, because water vapor in the air gets cold and changes back intoliquid, forming clouds.
Then the clouds get heavy and water falls back to the earth surface in the form of rains. Whenwater
falls backs to earth as precipitation it may fall back in oceans, lakes, or rivers or it may end up on
land. It will then soak into the earth and become part of the ground water that plants and animals
used to drink or it may run over the soil and collect in the oceans , lakes or rivers where the cycle
start again.
The water cycle is the nature’s way of cleaning and reusing water, it’s the earth’s own way of
recycling.
What should they learn?
Knowledge: They know how the water cycle doesoccur and also know how the rain forms.
They also know how does water move from one place to the other, they know how the
water cycle works and the important of water.
Skills: They know to make rain gauge (measurement of rain that is data collection)
Attitude: They become water wise (Water conservation) they will learn to take short showers
They will never leave water running while brushing teeth.
Value: They will appreciate water and they will to saveit.
